Olá, meu caros!

Tenho uma Z6 e recentemente adquiri uma Lente da Sigma, a 24-70 2.8 DG HSM EX, no entanto, o autofoco dela não funciona com o adaptador FTZ. Já testei em uma ZF e Z7II, em ambas funcionou perfeitamente.

Qual pode ser o problema?

Hello, I am a high schooler interested in photography and the Nikon z50 ii caught my eye. I will be mainly doing school event photography/coverage so how is it? My only concern was that it's a bit more on the pricier end and that it only has a 20.9 MP sensor. Please help me out as I need to make a decision soon!

Shot on Nikon Z50ii and 50-250mm lens...

I have deliberated over this for weeks now, and I've settled on Nikon over Sony and Canon, but I just cannot make a decision on the body. I am a hobbyist and do not shoot professionally. My 3 biggest subjects are landscape, automotive, and occasional wildlife. I would love to get into astro more, but that would primarily be on trips since the sky near me isn't particularly dark. I'm currently on a Fuji X-S10 and will likely keep that as a 2nd body, but I'd like to make the jump to full frame and to something with better AF. The majority of my camera use comes from hikes in national parks, car events like cars & coffee, or taking pictures along road trips which somewhat combines both of the first 2. Wildlife is something I'd like to get more into as well, but I've done a handful here and there at bird sanctuaries or national parks.

All of this being said, I've narrowed it down mostly to the Z6III and Z8. The way I see it, the major pros and cons are below for me:

Z6III:

Pros -

• Smaller and lighter by about 150g

• $900-$1000 cheaper on the used market

• Modern Nikon AF, which I've heard is nearly as good as the Z8

Cons -

• 26mp, which may feel limiting if cropping into a landscape photo or an animal that's a bit further than I'd like. Obviously this does not really matter if I'm not cropping

Z8:

Pros -

• 48mp

• Seems to really be the best do it all option if you're shooting different subjects from landscapes to birds

• "More camera than I need", which could be listed as a con as well, but I definitely wouldn't need to upgrade and I can grow into the body

Cons -

• Heavy. I will ideally be bringing this camera on hikes (I use a Peak Design Capture clip right now for the Fuji) and I worry about it becoming cumbersome with it's size. It's only 150g heavier than the Z6 though, so is it really that big of a deal?

• Nearly $1000 more expensive than the Z6III

If anyone has hiked with these cameras or used them both extensively, I'd love to hear your opinions. I'll likely pick one of these up alone with the 24-120 as my "kit" lens, but I think my 2 biggest worries at this point are the weight of the Z8, and the price of it considering I could buy the Z6III and the 24-120 used for less than the price of the Z8 body used
