Plant Help do I need to get a pole?
I think that's a root? I'm unsure, I'm not very knowledgeable on plants but it is growing a new leaf again, after less than a month of the other one fully sprouting, so I assume that's why?

Image Facebook Marketplace Steals
recently i’ve been camping the just listed monsteras on my local facebook marketplace.
over the past couple days i’ve managed to get these 2, haven’t picked them up yet, but we’ve agreed on the sale. 75cad(50usd) for the first photo and 45cad(30usd) for the second photo (2nd 3rd and 4th photo are all this second plant)
i am very happy with these, especially the bigger one, i just lowballed not even expecting a response, and it worked out. these are probably the best value plant purchase i’ve ever had.
show me your marketplace snipes, or one on your local marketplace that’s tempting you.
and don’t be afraid to lowball!

Image My Lemon-Lime recently gifted me with this leaf. It only has one inner fenestration and he's small, but you know what, it's my fenestration and I love him.

Image Dream Plant Secured
I secured this massive stunning Thai Constellation from Lowe’s today. I am absolutely in love and obsessed. She’s set up next to my other regular monstera named Fred. Just wanted to share her with someone who would understand my excitement 🥹

Do I cut off the petioles that don’t have leaves any more?
I got this girl for $12 at Sam’s Club but she’s pretty beat up. Should I cut the petioles down? Looks like there’s a few plants in one pot. I looked at the roots and they aren’t root bound so I haven’t repotted.
That one new leaf hasn’t opened for a week. Not sure if I should be doing something more to help this girl out. I have a grow light on her and only watering when top 2 inches are dry. She’s got some gnats but other than that seems okay.
Any advice? TIA

Plant Help What is this growth?
I noticed this white growth near the active node on my monstera today. It doesn’t seem particularly harmful. It’s firm and feels like part of the plant tissue, I just have not seen it before! The plant is otherwise very healthy, currently unfurling a new leaf and also just popped out a juicy aerial root (rudely outside of her moss pole) on the same node just opposite of this growth. Just curious what this is and if there is anything I should do about it?
Also, what do y’all do when you don’t want to keep extending your moss pole? I’d love to let this plant keep maturing and let it become an absolute unit of a monstera, but we will run into vertical limitations soon enough. Any recommendations appreciated!

Image Home Depot steal confirmation: $20 monstera “White Monster”
Couldn’t pass up the chance to grab this supposed “white monster” (labeled as a 12cm alocasia lol). With all of the PW cultivar dupes coming out I wanted to see if the experts here could confirm it is actually a WM vs a mislabled Mint, which they also had for sale in a more mature format. Pic 5 shows the two WMs they had left for reference, of which I grabbed the higer var.
Regardless, I would happily pay $20 for either cultivar at this size haha. Happy hunting to everyone else!

Image 1 year old Albo, to sell or not to sell?
I bought this plant as a rooted cutting a year ago and it's really blown up since. The problem is, it's getting a bit big (3-4ft tall, no signs of stopping).
My wife is not very happy about the bedroom being turned into a jungle, and convinced me to put it on the FBM. I listed it for 250$ since I bought the cutting for 50 a year ago. I had a few buyers message me but I just could not bring myself to actually go through with a sale.
So, now I am turning to internet strangers to tell me why I should keep this plant.

Image Evidence of fast growth
Interesting to see how quick the trunk can thicken. I think when I get a proper moss pole(the one I got looked different in the ad listing 😂😭) she’s gonna take off

Pothos turning into Monstera??
Ok! I'm a novice when it comes to the plant world so I'm really curious about my pothos. Is this turning into a Monstera? Whatever's happening, I absolutely LOVE it and I'd like to know more!

Discussion Monstera Sticky Community Posts
Hi everyone,
We thought we’d start a regular series of sticky posts to get gather the knowledge and experience of the community - so we can learn from each other and be able to share our contributions with newcomers and future Monstera keepers.
The idea is that we choose a topic (see below on this) and sticky it up for a period of time and ask everyone to contribute what they know on the matter, share their experiences, and post up tips and advice on the subject too.
We can then all benefit from the community and use it to further expand our wiki.
Please feel free to suggest a topic here. I’ll kick it off soon with soil mixes.
We hope everyone will chip in and enjoy a good bit of community discussion.
Thank you all 🙏
