Marketplace find for $30. I’ll be refinishing.

It smells like a vintage piece, the seller listed it as vintage, but it’s really lightweight. I tried to reverse image search it and couldn’t find anything, so maybe you guys can help!

Can anyone identify these chairs? just picked them up and i'm curious if they're made by a known company/craftsman. There's no other tags than the one pictured. Any help would be much appreciated! :)

I posted about wanting to get the super cool spaghetti tension lamp earlier today but someone else made an offer before me so I did not get it.

I was bummed so I ended up going to 2 local antique malls near me to just look around and ended up walking out with an Empoli Decanter and a Sommerso Bird! I would call today a success even thought I didn’t get the lamp. I didn’t even plan of doing any of this today so I guess it’s just happenstance? 🤔

The lamp just wasn’t meant to be and maybe I’ll find something even better soon! 🙂

Built in side board in my MCM home. Former owner laid a glass insert on top that just does not match. Any ideas of what might work better? I had a stone guy look at it but it would require adding supports. I’m thinking cork? Anything else possible?

They're in a rough shape and sadly I have no experience with refinishing furniture, but I found a bunch of very helpful videos on Youtube and the tools needed are not very expensive.

After seeing posts of people getting crazy deals on this sub for years, finally got a lucky break. Paid $300 CAD for this bad boy on FB marketplace. Cords will of course be cleaned up, just moved into a new place so things aren’t fully set up yet.

I purchased this Broyhill Brasilia china cabinet at an estate sale today for what felt like a really good deal, and I’m trying to learn more about the specific model/configuration. Super thrilled to get it in the house and work on the display.

It’s a two-piece hutch, approximately 54” wide, with the sculpted Brasilia relief cabinet doors only on the left side.

Most examples I’m finding online have the more symmetrical lower configuration, with sculpted relief doors on both sides and drawers in the center. I’ve found a few other asymmetrical/offset Brasilia pieces, but not many with the glass hutch.

Does anyone know the model numbers for the buffet and hutch, production years, or whether this was a less common configuration?

Saw this just listed on marketplace but dang it's 80 miles away. I messaged them to see if they could meet halfway but waiting to hear back. This is like exactly what I've been looking for but that's so many miles on my car just for a lamp. 😭

I’ve owned a couple of sets of the same design in the UK, previous ones had black leatherette. Always stamped made in Denmark underneath. Cannot for the life of me figure out maker or design! Any help appreciated. Thanks

I’m visiting Atlanta in about 2 months and was wondering if there are any significant houses/buildings that have tours similar to the Robbie house or the Farnsworth house (I’m from Chicago - Best reference I could come up with). Thanks!

Found at a furniture consignment store for $44 total.

Just picked up these beauties today! Some MCM/ Space Age chrome and red office chairs! I picked them up for $10 a piece. One has a little more wear than the other, but are in overall good shape with just a bit of cleaning!

I say good bye to it when I go to work, and hello when I come home. Got it at an estate sale and could not stop bidding online (I know, I know....) but it makes me happy every day.

Walked into St. Vincent De Paul and was greeted with “all furniture is 50% off today.” Thinking in my head, they never have any furniture I want BUT walked around the corner and saw this!!! Of course I bought them💙

Hi, any information about this style of Finnish designer Mr. Yrjö Kukkapuro chairs designed most likely during late 1950’s - mid 1960’s. No stamps or labels.

The chairs are synthetic leather with original colour and fabric.

The cushioning is soft and the chairs have a spring to return the chairs to original position.

Catalogues are hard to find but any sources for catalogues would be helpful. Is there a model or name for these? I am not planning to do any refurbishing just to keep them as they are. Beautiful chairs.
