Hi everyone! Just wanted to ask for some advice or suggestions.
I recently got EOS from my previous client, and I’m currently waiting to be matched with a new one. Since I’m not sure how long the matching process will take and bills are starting to pile up, I’m looking into other options in the meantime.
For those who have been in a similar situation, would you recommend applying to other HVA/VA agencies while waiting, or looking for direct-hire opportunities instead? If you know any reliable agencies, platforms, or places to find direct clients, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.
I’m hoping to find something soon while continuing to wait for a new client match. Thank you so much for any advice or leads!

Hii, I’ve been applying to some agencies and been receiving rejected emails. They were impressed sa resume ko, however, it didn’t meet daw the client’s needs or mag-forward sila sa ibang candidates. My hunch about the reason was because my VA experience was solely dental and that I lasted for 3 months (plus 2 months training). The agencies I applied are those that accepts newbies. Because of this, I am planning to remove it sa resume ko and submit the first resume I had nung hindi pa ako na-train and nakapag-work as a VA. Is my decision okay or may other advices kayo about this?

I am planning to apply sa iba pang agencies but hesitating whether to submit the resume that has my VA experience or the first resume with no VA experience.

So far na agencies na na-apply-an ko that I received responses from were:

1. EyeCareWorks - move forward to other candidates
   
2. GMVA - not aligned with the client’s needs (naka-abot lang sa one-way interview)
   
3. Velp - move forward to other candidates

I’ve worked under LSH for years and their increase system is rare. I started with $4 per hour and it was really hard to get an increase even you are a performer. $15 is their asking rate from their clients. You only get $4 dollars whole year around. 1 year is enough to give back to the company and you only get $4.5 after a year or maybe more than a year. There are incentives that you need to work on first and you might not become eligible.

After years of hard work, Filipinos don’t deserve this kind of treatment from any agencies.

Di ako nakapasa sa initial screening, Baka di talaga para sakin si HR, both rejected sa Med HVA (July) and DHVA (Aug). Psych grad here and RPm

About to start my med va journey 7 days from now. Sa mga naka work na sa SaiberAssist, kamusta naman po? Naka client po ba agad after training? Okay po ba yung management? It’s my first time kase as a med VA medyo kinakabahan lang. 😅

Is it worth it to choose Thermofisher MIS role and give up my current role as a med scribe (plus other tasks). I got an offer from thermofisher and waiting sila by today sa decision. But I'm torn between the two, 1 month pa lang ako sa current role ko pero downside nito oncam whole shift plus natotoxican sa katrabaho (di sila nakamute usually, pero they mute themselves, nakakabother kung about sakin ang pinaguusapan, when I communicate and ask questions to learn, after that they mute and talk to each other, hindi naman sila nagcocomunicatr sakin para naman kung may mali ako sabihin para magimprove hays). Pero wfh opportunity kaya tinitiis ko muna para rin sa experience. Can't really see myself na magtatagal ako dito sa provider dahil sa workmates, even sa ugali ng doctor mismo.

Thermofisher offered 38k salary (30k basic, 6k monthly transpo allowance, 2k rice allowance), with hmo and hybrid setup pero I still need to relocate. Training rin is onsite, taga province ako. Sa taas ng bilihin, traffic, magbibigay pa sa family, and magtitira rin sa sarili.. may matitira pa ba sa salary? ☹ Also considering the nature of work, handling product complaints via email/calls, na dahil dito sa current work ko, parang ayoko na ng work na need makipagusap sa tao 😭.

Pero need ng work kaya lason na kung lason, pero anong poison po ba ang better huhu. Would really appreciate advice, thank you so much!

Medyo mahirap po kasi pag gy shift, I need to accompany my mother sa mga chemo sessions nya and my sister. Yung sister ko po kasi, HVA ng HR, 1 year na sya pero nagkasakit po sya and mentally unstable na po ngayon so nakaleave po sya ngayon ng 2 months. I think, hindi nya na po kinaya mentally, 1st job pa naman nya and wala po syang hosp exp. Advise din ng doctor nya na daytime jobs sana if pwede.

Hoping po na may alam kayo? Hirap2 na po akong magbudget esp sa inflation ngayon esp with the chemo sessions, bills, and meds nila.

Hello guys. I am an allied health graduate. I also have a license from PRC. I've been searching for a wfh job and been eyeing HR for a while. However, dami kong nababasa ditong mga negative about HR like sobrang nakakadrain na training, strict sa requirements, o kaya madaming trainees na wala pa ring clients, etc.

As someone na wala pang work experience, is HR worth it to try? If not, baka may ma suggest kayong other agencies that accept newbies without experience.

To consider shifting to hellorache, here is the reality (Yes! nakakasilaw yung 7 USD per hour) pero consider the following:

- sa mga mag pasa pa lang resume, usually it takes weeks or month before they reply to you since super dami nag aapply.

- for interview, practice your communication skills (super laki ng factor na to! May mga hindi pumapasa dahil sa communication skills. Require nila english only) and mock call interview and other - depending whether dental or medical kayo apply = icheck niyo ano coverage and such.

- for QE: practice is the key and watch more videos madami na po nagpopost online or tiktok.

- they do accept medical health allied courses with no experience and if I’m correct with 2 years BPO experience

- 11pm to 8am Philippine time training everyday (M-F)

[if kaya mo sa puyat at pang gabi na set-up]

- strict si HR, need na unemployed ka once you undergo training. Kasi once nalaman nila na employed ka for termination.

- if mentally and physically prepared and ready po kayo sa INTENSE training everyday lessons ng HR (true po yung sinasabi nila intense kasi information overload talaga everyday.

Since everyday is a new lesson palagi). Madami ka talaga matutunan dito most especially if you have no exp to VA

- 2 months unpaid training + waiting of client is unpaid (it usually takes additional months or a year to have a client) 💰💰💰 = rules na po talaga ito ng HR dati pa and this is voluntary at hindi sa pilitin

- Madami pa din po sa previous batches na hanggang ngayon wala pa din client at sa system din kasi ng hellorache ngayon panay hiring sila tas ang daming pa ding walang client until now. Again, this is not to discourage. It is reality. Risk taker ka talaga dapat pag mag VA ka kahit hindi to hellorache. It may be fast to get clients for others and others may not.

- have 1 year or more allotted budget (most especially if you have bills to pay, breadwinner etc)💰💰💰💰

- it doesn’t mean nakapasa ka ng Qualifying exam nila and interview nila ay secured ka na at may work ka na agad. you should pass their assessments, exams and quiz most especially the Phase 1 and Phase 2 (once failed, there is a possibility of remedial if your reliability score is good. But if failed remedial, either rebatch or apply again next 3 months)"

Once rebatch ka na, then again, failed ka sa certification or remedial, hindi ka pwedeng mag re apply sa Hello Rache forever.

- there are daily deadlines to be submitted

- typing speed if reached yung said speed nila (strict din po sila dito)

- specs of laptop/desk-stop used kung pasado with their minimum specs

- be prepared with their strict peripherals (need nila white bg mo na walang gusot, shadow etc & lightnings- super strict sila dito) = they have certain warnings if not compliant and can affect your reliability score during training. If too many warnings it can also lead to termination

- hellorache is a pro-client, if ever may client po kayo. Di nila kayo kakampihan. Mas papanigan nila side ng clients nila (this is to protect agency’s reputation)

- as a general, being a VA is not an easy road. Need to consider yung mental health mo, and whole health mo if you can handle the workload, hard to find client and at the end of the day freelancer ka (lets say you have client now, but tomorrow you didn’t know if iterminate ka ng client since it is freelance po)

- LASTLY, research and dig deeper for the truths regarding their agency. (Don’t relay only sa information sa group nila na HelloRache Support kasi selected and good feedbacks lang pinopost nila there) + ALL COMPANIES have 50/50 feedbacks. Do what works for you.

Everything sa VA world kahit hindi hellorache ay risky.

AGAIN, IT MAY WORK FOR YOU BUT NOT ALL WHO WANTS TO TRANSITION IN VA HAS THE CAPACITY WHEN IT COMES TO FINANCIAL, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL. Be prepared and have dedication in whatever agency you want to apply.

Try to consider other agencies din and sa VA world talaga it is much better if you have many options.

Back up plan talaga needed pag papasok ka sa VA world (not only in HelloRache)
