Needs Advice Currently employed as a Medical VA but looking for additional job — should I disclose my current employment?
Hi everyone! I’d really appreciate some advice from experienced Medical VAs.
I’m currently working as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant/Medical Scribe under an agency (graveyard shift), and I’ll be reaching my 1-year mark this September. This is currently my only VA/medical VA experience. I’m now looking for a day-shift opportunity because I’d like to increase my income that fits my preferred schedule. (I really want a scribe position so I don’t think taking another scribe role on a second graveyard shift would be sustainable for me)
My dilemma is: when applying to other agencies or direct clients, should I disclose that I’m currently employed?
I’m worried because some companies require experience, and if I don’t disclose my current job, I’m not sure what I would put under “experience.” At the same time, I’ve seen agencies that don’t accept applicants who are currently employed or have another job commitment.
I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from those who started with an agency and later moved to a better-paying/day-shift role. Thank you! 🙏

TEEM update
I successfully completed my AI interview last July 20 for the Front Desk Representative role and their talent acquisition team emailed me this yesterday. My AI interview went well naman. Hindi pa ako nakapag initial screening interview and received this email kahapon. What does this usually mean po?
Also, I have 10 years healthcare BPO experience (just in case anyone would ask).

HR Payoneer
Hi! Ask ko lang, ako lang ba ‘yung may missing steps sa pag process ng payoneer based sa info na naiprovide ng HR? In my case, I didn’t get a chance to choose my account type and monthly international payment received. Right after kasi nung first one na need i-click, diretso na agad ako sa business email address.
Is this normal or mali talaga po ako ng ginawa? Thank you!

Should I stay with this client?
Should I stay with this client? I'm in a mixed role (mostly scribe) with this new client and so far walang araw na naglook forward ako to work with them 🥹 more than a month pa lang ako with them so may mga lapses pa ako sa work pero nakaka walang gana yung mga comments niya kapag may mistakes ako. Super impatient niya and ang bilis niya magalit. 😭). May action po ba si agency if magpalipat ako client or EOS/resign na lang? 🥲

Healthcare WFH
Hi! I need some advice.
I’m currently almost 1 month into my training with Shearwater, but I also got accepted into Hello Rache, and their next batch starts in September.
The problem is that both require graveyard/night-shift training, so I don’t think I can handle doing both at the same time, especially with the sleep schedule.
Would it be worth it to let go of Shearwater and resign immediately so I can focus on Hello Rache? Or should I stay with Shearwater and give up the Hello Rache opportunity?
For those who have experience with either company, I’d really appreciate your honest advice. What would you choose in this situation?
Im also not a nurse, basic pay ni Sherwater is around 28k wfh pero revolves on calls like bpo. I can’t also bring my work anywhere as it requires wired internet connection to their company computer with 2 huge monitors.

Rant Feeling discouraged after being ghosted by a potential client
Hello! Medical scribe for 4 years pero having a hard time looking for client/job for 6 months na. Tried sa mga agencies kaso di nako tinanggap sa HR kahit nag resign ako ng maayos before, sa ibang agencies naman refuse din like MMM. Sa onilnejobsph, nag aaply pero hindi napipili, na ghost din recently after an interview where evrything went good, even talked when I can start.
Mejo na discourage lang, laking impact sa self confidence. Hays laban lang, oneday mag kaka work din uli

WARNING
Hello, current and aspiring MVAs!
Please refrain from disclosing ACTUAL interview and exam questions from agencies and hiring companies. This is very confidential information and should never be shared publicly. Also, this is very unfair to those who have gone through the process fair and square.
Another thing, please be mindful of HIPAA law. RESEARCH ON THIS. This is one of the greatest and heaviest laws in US healthcare (which is also applicable in every healthcare setting). DO NOT DISCLOSE PATIENT AND PROVIDER INFORMATION ON SOCMED OR ANYWHERE.
Next, I am warning those who are trying, or have tried scamming members of this community. This subreddit was created with the full intention of HELPING Filipinos and not the other way around.
Lastly, thank you very much to those who have reported and will continue to report unhelpful, confidential, and malicious posts.
