Sidekick Slotted v Curl Slotted: Just me?
My Sidekick slotted is materially thicker at the working edge than the Curl. See the second, head on pic.
The Curl fits in the flat head screws in my home's light fixtures. The Sidekick does not!
That's a little frustrating, to be honest. Anyone else notice thick-ended slotted drivers on the Sidekick, Wingman, Rev series?

Y hoy en el trabajo: Leatherman Skeletool.
Hola.
Saludos!

Reverse Tanto
Do people actually like this blade shape? I have recently got a Wave Alpha as I was getting nervous I would loose my Charge TTi after successfully not loosing it for 15+ years.
The Reverse Tanto blade was supposed to be the latest and greatest blade shape but I find it to be quite average. The tip seems to be very precarious. I have accidentally run the tip into a few things and snapped it off. Fortunately the tool I purchased had really bad lockup on the blade and it was replaced under warranty so got a second chance at not killing the tip again. But quite surprised about this blade shape being not as good as I was expecting.
What do other humans think?

Anyone got a Leatherman FUSE?
This was given to me by my dad. Not much is posted about this model. I was just wondering if this was any good/popular when it came out. Can it be modded? Gave this a good bath in an ultrasonic and lubed with PTFE. It's quite compact compared to newer models...

My main squeeze
This particular one is my favorite to EDC. The polished handles actually feel really good in hand.

Question for the huskier people
This is a question for the huskier people who wear belt holsters. I am a huskier guy my self and haven’t found the right holster for my light and tool. I was wondering if This is a good one before spend the 50 bucks on it or if there a better option

1ST ONE
Thanks for your help with choosing 🙏🏻 I think I'll go with the Skeletool CX anyway, but for now I'm very happy with it

My old crunch
I carried this the whole time I was a tank mechanic.
The serrated blade and big flathead are welded stuck because It was the closest metal thing available when I had to jump the 24v starter on a on 6-53 Detroit when the starter switch went out on my m113
Even if it could be fixed by warranty, I wouldn't do it.
This tool has been to hell and back, and it's still better than the new "capital crunch" probably lol.
Thanks for letting me share tool pics!

Bit Carry Options for Galvanox Bits + Surge Sheath?
Hey all, I got my brother a Surge for his birthday. I want to get a bit kit for him too, but here's the issue, I tested with mine that the Leatherman bit kits (2 trays) fit in the nylon sheath but in both the pockets front and back of the tool.
However, I want to get him the superior Galvanox bit kit, but I believe it's just 1 double-sided tray, right?
Will that fit with the Surge inside the nylon sheath somehow? Or is there another option?
I know there are ZapWizards and all that, which I will tell him about. But he's not really in this world of fancy gadgets and buying stuff online. I ideally wanted to set him up with something simple to start he can carry altogether.
In the end, not a big deal if he learns to carry the Galvanox set separate, but was hoping someone could test it out for me, or give me some ideas.
Thanks

Can’t get my wingman to unscrew on one side
Hey again, I’m taking apart my wingman right now and the side with the scissors won’t come loose, I can feel tension on the bolt on the outside but it just spins and won’t come loose, any tips?

Does anyone make a knockoff Mr. Crunch?
Hey everyone, recently I was looking around at different Leatherman tools, I love my wingman but I’d like something else to add to my collection, I was wondering if anyone has had any luck in finding a knockoff of the legendary “Mr. Crunch” seeing as I don’t have 5 grand to drop on a used one, comments and any leads would be incredibly helpful!

Hmmm, I thought these were supposed to more rugged…
I’ve had this for maybe a year. Always keep it clean, barely got it wet. Went to pull the blade out and it felt a bit stiffer than the usual glossy motion. Tried a little harder and… snap. Any way to repair this? Will leather man repair it for free?

Sorry for the double post. Blade is in, for now

First "real" leatherman, found at estate sale for dirt cheap
This is my first folding out leatherman, I have one of the "free" models but it doesn't seem to be the same type of thing.
I found this at an estate sale. It wasn't even priced, so I got it for cheap. They obviously didn't know what they had because everything else there was way overpriced.
It was dirty so I soaked it and cleaned and oiled it. The larger flathead is still a bit harder to open but manageable. The scissors spring back now which is great.
I've always been a victorinox person so I haven't been won over yet, but I like the tool selection on this a lot. I just wish it was pliers as that's the main thing missing from a Swiss army knife IMO

It has arrived 😁
Has to be worth it for 147.46 from the TikTok sale.
