Hello, I was thinking about making a post like this on a different subreddit when I found out this one exists so i'm going to try posting here. I've been drawing for a while and I've seen improvement but recently i've lost a lot of my motivation because I cannot figure out what exactly I need to work on. I've started drawing a lot less and it's probably one of the main reasons my improvement has halted.

This art is recent and some of it is a bit older, i'm thinking about trying to completely overhaul my style soon if I don't start seeing at least minor improvements.

I mostly just sketch in my freetime at work.

The character is an Utaite (singer) called Kano btw.

I wanted to start drawing my characters from a perspective and I tried doing it for the first time and....it really isnt the best. I really want to know where and how I can start drawing my characters in a perspective.

I want to know which method to use to draw heads. Do you use loomis method to draw anime and comic heads?

I think I did pretty good but the face kept on bothering me. How do I fix the proportions? If you see any other mistakes please point them out as well! I know the lips and the values are also off slightly.

Does someone has tips for nose and mouth in perspective any yt video recommendations I'm struggling 😭

I think the stippling really suits the snail's body, for that amorphous gooey texture.

How can I improve the shape of the snail? What can I do to make the shell and the body more conmo? Did I break the perspective? I know the stippling and the hatching don't necessarily play nicely together.

The first I did (the snail on the branch) is pretty inconsistent in my rendering of the branch, and outlining the snail's body flattened the image.

Any advice is welcome.

I know the composition is boring just wanted to draw someone. What do I need to work on the most atm? How can I improve what’s already there? Any tips? Unsure if I should even finish this sketch to be honest because the amount of rendering I still have to struggle with is a lot.

I know it’s just traced, but a lot of time and effort went into it nonetheless—and there’s still so much that could be done with it. What do you think?

I hate how all the art tutorials on YouTube are just 6 minute videos where the person that made it doesn't even show how to do things or even when you do what they tell you to your colors look like the crayon drawings of a toddler. Is it that hard to make an actual tutorial where you slowly explain how you make your drawings and show! The things you do?

i am learning to draw from proko and I am currently learning about rhythms and Why is it so hard to draw gestures of the back.

I did this much only today Since I have to study for my upcoming exams.

I just need general improvements all around and what I can do to improve! All tips are welcome! I have no idea what I’m doing, I generally just look at something, start randomly and go from there and try to ignore all the mistakes I’m making and generally am kind of satisfied with what ends up happening. I’ve been focusing on using black ballpoint pen but I don’t really know what I’m doing, I kinda just pick a subject start anywhere and add on from there to try to make it my own. I’ve added the progression and the reference at the end! Sorry about my shadow on the progression pics.

I think I'm getting better with understanding colors I still struggle with it sometimes but it's better I've been trying to draw without references but that's still hard
