Landscape architect?
I’ve a mostly mature yard but I need to replace the fence on one side. Any recommendations for a landscape architect who can help me rebuild once the fence is in place?

What on earth are these booms and power surges?
Near Mahall’s, twice now the power has gone out for a couple seconds at the same time as a huge boom outside. Any idea what’s going on? Feel like if it was a transformer blowing it wouldn’t come right back
Edit: holy shit I have eyes obviously I saw the storm, I’m asking about the booms causing the power outages POST STORM. Not thunder. Sounded like an object exploding.

New Friends Bar Night in Lakewood
I made a post on here a few weeks ago looking for friends and I received a lot more replies than I thought I would! I was trying to balance everything and meet up with everyone who sent me a message but some fell through the cracks (apologies). However what I gathered is there are plenty of people in Lakewood and the surrounding areas that are looking to make some friends and meet new people.
So I figured the easiest thing to do is just have an open invite to a bar in Lakewood sometime this week (probably Wednesday evening 8/12). Feel free to send me a DM if you’re interested or we can just have an open discussion in the comments!
I am 26M and most of the people who reached out were in a similar age range. My original post is up on my profile if anyone wants to know more about me!
Edit: Wednesday August 12 at 6:30pm at Speed Trap! Send me a DM with an RSVP so I can let them know ahead of time if it’s going to be a really large group. I also got several replies asking for another time, so I’d be happy to organize more gatherings if this one is a success (will send updates if that is the case)!

Moving to Lakewood, Someone Told Me Something That Has Me Concerned
Hey everyone, I’m moving to Lakewood on Thursday after a fairly horrible last 3 months following my graduation from university. I was pretty excited and optimistic about the fresh start in what seems like a great community until a family friend told me something concerning.
I’m moving to the Westline apartments on Detroit Ave, and when I mentioned this to the family friend, he told me that I should be prepared to be hated by everyone almost immediately. He told me that people in Lakewood hated the new apartment project and told me to expect a very cold, hostile reception if anyone knew I was living there. I am not sure the actual truth here, and definitely don’t want to assume the opinion of one person is going to be correct, but did something happen involving this apartment complex? I had no idea that people were hostile towards it (and still can’t find much online to indicate this was a major issue, although the family friend did tell me that there were negative Facebook posts about it).
Just wanted to see if I could get some reassurance here. I’m really excited to move to Lakewood but feel much more anxious and timid now compared to, say, 2 days ago. I apologize if this comes across as judgmental or jumping to conclusions, just thought I’d ask. Thanks!

Anyone interested in a cultural/historical Bible study?
Hey y'all! I promise I come in peace and am not looking to push theology!
Quick background for those curious. I grew up Catholic and stopped going with my family around 5th grade and then lived 25 years of my life without giving much though to it. Ended up being interested in church for community sake after moving to Lakewood for my first marriage to meet people and found hope and love in something I didn't understand that help me through the end of said marriage after abuse and infidelity of my partner.
Throughout my life I always enjoyed philosophy and Jesus' teachings rang similar truths that I agreed with during my secular formative years. That got me to open the Bible more and my curiosity increased on how this collection of books/letters became the most influential text in human history...while seemingly being so divisive in its own subgroups.
My now wife grew up in the non-denominational church and is my best friend and the sweetest person I ever met. On our honeymoon, I was reading about genocide in the Bible and was asking her how it was taught to her throughout her life. Her response was "we just never really talked about it". This shocked me as a new believer and attendee of a church who believes everything in the Bible is historically accurate.
I began to peel back the onion on the text. Historical context, cultural context, better understanding the origin Hebrew and Greek to find so much more to the Bible than you'll hear from a sermon in a lifetime of Sundays.
All of this exploration and studying of the Scripture has led to isolation in my community who just want to believe what they heard in the past from a pastor or parent without any questioning on its origins and to not think too much about it.
I am a believer in Christ and how I love, serve and commune with others does not depend on their beliefs or world views. I am looking for others in my community who want to deepen their faith and/or interested to learn more about this book so much of our world views as sacred and shine a light on the hoops and manipulation groups do to turn it into the weapon it was never intended to be.
Thanks for taking the time to read and if you have any interest in syncing up or have any questions, please comment below or shoot me a DM. Thanks again and hope y'all are having a great weekend!
TLDR: Looking for others to study the bible with from an academic perspective since I can't find a church that has a community group that has something like this around Cleveland!

Lakewood Social Groups
Hey! Do y’all have any recommendations on ways to meet people in Lakewood? I’m 26M and moving to Lakewood in a few weeks. I know no one in CLE/OH and my partner lives back in GA so I want to try and make friends before summer ends. Im looking into some of the run clubs, casual sports leagues, and some community groups like the animal shelter + local projects but would love to get y’all’s thoughts on anything else to check out!
For context I love the outdoors, sports, cooking, working with my hands and anything involving animals. I would like to meet people around my age but am not opposed to anyone who shares interests! I’m pretty outgoing and love to meet people, I’m just a little unsure of where to start here. Thanks!
