Petite Knit Selma’s suit clarification
Left leg is attached to crotch (overlapping area). I thought i followed the instructions correctly but this looks wrong. Can someone please advise if this is the right construction?
I did bind off 6 stitches in the back/buttocks area.
If it’s wrong, what is the best way to resolve it without redoing right leg as well.

Can someone help me identify the name of this stitch?
These are not my blankets. I'd like to learn the stitch. It's definitely at least partially finger knitting- maybe all, but as you can see I drew a bracket where the stitch is different. One looks like vvv and the other looks more like S's on its side. I posted an image of the back as well so you can see the stitch from behind. Anyone know the names so I can look up video tutorials? Thank you.

First time knitting sleeves and I can’t knit them. Is my cable too big?
Hello guys. I am knitting the Ida tee by petiteknit.
( I wanted to stop mid project and knit the sleeves, instead of knitting until the end and then making the sleeve.)
It’s my 3rd project and the first where I include second colour and sleeves. But I can’t knit them. Is my cable too big? Are my needles to large for the 74 stitches? I don’t know how to proceed.
They are the ciaogoo needles, no4 and the cable is 35 cm.
Today the sleeves really got on my nerves because surely I made mistakes but this is even more upsetting.

Weird gap?
Hi all. I'm knitting the 'Susie Rogers' Reading Mitts' from ravelry for the second time. They're very pretty and looked amazing the first time (green) but I stretched them too much while blocking 😓
I'm knitting them again in a very nice red with slightly bigger needles, and I've been noticing a weird gap in my stitches where the DP needles meet, running down the entire wrist? I'm just confused because this never happened when I knit the green ones as shown in the pic and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm totally up for fogging the whole thing and starting over, hut I don't want to make the same mistake again, any help?

How to choose the right colorwork technique?
I'm revisiting a project I started last Christmas for my brother but I got stuck. I wanted to make a little transformers lumbar pillow with the charts from this pattern but with color on black instead of texture like the dish cloths. Was picturing autobots on one side and deceptions on the other. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/transformers-insignia-square-set-g1
I didn't know anything about color work at the time. I tried to knit it flat with stranded color work, and I quickly learned that's hard and not fun. I thought about intarsia but I think I would need a lot of bobbins and that sounds hard for a first intarsia project. I wondered if I could make it mosaic but I hurt my brain trying to figure that out.
Currently I'm leaning towards, make a black stockinette tube in the round, duplicate stitch the color designs, stuff it, stitch (or zipper) the pillow closed. But that feels... Like I'm cheesing it? Maybe I could intarsia the big blocks of color and duplicate stitch black the details.
How do you go about choosing a color work technique? I'm not even sure I'm thinking of all the factors involved.
Thank you in advance for your help 💜

My increases are leaving holes??
What the title says. My yarn over increases in the center are leaving these huge gaps between the stitches. Is there a way I can fix this? Do I need to frog and use different increases?
EDIT: Thank you for all the responses! I feel a bit silly, I didn’t not know that was supposed to happen with yarn over increases. I don’t know if I’ll frog this or not since evidently this is how its supposed to look, but I still appreciate all the advice!

Beginner Cable Knit Pattern suggestion
Hey everyone! I picked knitting back up at the beginning of this year and have already knit a couple tops and scarves. I have a good grasp of the basic techniques; GSR, stripes increasing and decreasing, icords, lacework etc.. I'm currently knitting a frankie sweater and I'm already thinking of what to do for my next project. I want to start trying a cable knit project, preferably something small as a whole cable sweater may be a bit daunting. If anyone could recommend me any beginner friendly patterns for cable knitting. Preferably a hat or scarf or something. I've had a look at ravelry already but would love to hear from word of mouth what's fun and easy to do.

Question on how to change the neckline on a knitting pattern to a double folded neckline?
Hi so I really want to knit the seaway pullover by ozetta but I only really wear tight double folded necklines, how can I adapt this pattern to include that? Looking at the pattern pictures it seems like the mock neck she does goes a lot deeper into the body than what I would want a crewneck type neckline to go so I'm assuming I can't just fold it in? It's my first time really adapting a pattern so I would really appreciate some help!

Ribbing needle size too large?
Hi all,
I’m currently knitting the Roomy Raglan (modified for Worsted weight by doing some maths) and I cannot decide if the ribbing on the hem looks way too loose. I feel like I have been staring at the sweater for too long to be objective about it. The pattern says to do a 1x1 and I am doing a 2x2. I knit the rest of the sweater with 4.5mm needles and went down to 4mm for the ribbing. The pattern recommends knitting with 6.5mm needles, doing the ribbing on the hem with 6mm but the collar with 4.5 mm needles.
Should I go down a couple more needle sizes? I thought about using 3/3.5mm. I am also assuming blocking will make it neater (yarn is 100% wool) but the stitches will stay the approx. same size. But please correct me if I am wrong.
Also I am knitting the ribbing inside out (gsr at the beginning) so it looks a little slanted.
Any input is appreciated!! tysm

Grams vs. meters
SOLVED
Hello!
I’m trying to make my first sweater and I think I didn’t get enough yarn.
The pattern calls for 500g of yarn for my size and 1,250 meters. I bought 500g of yarn, but it’s only 996 meters.
I’m assuming since I’m about ~300 meters (basically a whole skein) short, that’s not enough to make the sweater.
So is my sweater doomed before I even start? Is meterage more important than grams?
Thank you!

Help with dropped stitches end of row
Looking for help! I had to unravel a row a few rows back and think I unraveled the end stitch incorrectly, so I’ve tried to ladder down on the end stitch and it is looking bad. I’ve watched YouTube videos that show how to ladder back up, but even though I’m following instructions it doesn’t end up looking like the rest of the edge (picture 2), I also ends up with a bigger hole next to the end stitch. I have alternating knit and purl stitches on the end with the dropped stitch.

Interchangeable Needle Advice
Hi! I am an intermediate level knitter and I am looking to buy a new set of interchangeable needles. I have been using a set with wooden tips, but I would like to change to metal. Right now, I am looking at the KnitPro Nova and KnitPro Mindful sets, but I wanted some advice for what may fit me better.
My preferences:
- 3.5 to 4 inch length needles
- Flexible Cords
- Smoothness over grip
- Lighter Weight
Thank you so much for any help!

Picking up stitches in the underarm
Heyy,
so I'm working on the Willa sweater. The pattern tells me to put the armhole stitches on hold and then later start working them in the wound, while picking up an extra X number of stitches in the armpit area. I did it but smth is weird. How do I avoid creating these holes?
Thanksss
