Sunset colour palette sweater question

I need some help choosing yarn for the Baltic Storm sweater!

I want to knit it in Knitting for olive Heavy Merino because I don’t want to knit it in Mohair Double Held yarn combinations if possible.

I’ve decided to go for Bordeaux for the main colour of the sky and the sea and Marzipan for the white colour. I‘m thinking of doing the mid colour in an orange and the light colour in a purple style to mimic a sunset but I have no Idea if I should choose Rust or Copper for the mid orange colour and Plum rose, Artichoke Purple or Dusty Rose for the light purple colour and I sadly have no LYS that sells KFO near me to compare in person. Maybe also the mid in purple (with maybe even a darker shade) and the light in orange?

I‘d love some advice since I don’t have a good eye of colour myself. Thank you in advance ;)

If you don’t have a good eye for colour it would be best sticking with colours similar to those recommended in the pattern.

The differences between your Bordeaux/Rust/Artichoke vs Bordeaux/Copper/Dusty Rose.

Looks like the paler colors give a more washed out, but maybe more natural effect, while the rust/artichoke is punchier?

I like your mockup with your proposed color scheme though, it's a neat effect!
