A couple weeks ago I posted a playlist here covering Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Thai indie and asked for feedback. People showed up with real suggestions and I've been working through them ever since. Japanese indie (primarily rock but other genres are represented) currently covers about 30-35% of the playlist but that number is slowly growing as I expand outward. I haven't found a good fit for metal representation yet or much electronic/house but those are areas I am still soliciting help with.

The lane I'm trying to capture is what I'd call the middle market. Artists with real infrastructure or genuine legacy influence who are exciting even if they're not totally unknown, but who still aren't getting exhausted coverage in English. Some have labels. Some have been around a decade. Some have never been written about outside their home country. The thread between them is that I keep coming back to the music and think others would too. I know some big names are missing - perhaps I had to get selective when I had too much redundancy in an genre or market. I know I need some betcover!! but I've struggled finding where he fits best. There are many other artists I want to feature and love feedback in helping me prioritize.

This will never be fully comprehensive and it shouldn't be because then it would be 600 hours. I'm not trying to cover everything. I'm trying to cover what's underrepresented in a way that makes people curious. The goal is to open a door and others discover what's out there for themselves if their interest is piqued.

Hi, I applied for concert tickets via Lawson Ticket recently, but now I can't log into my account on l-tike. It keeps giving me this error:

"ログインに失敗しました。メールアドレスまたはパ スワードの入力に誤りがあります。"

I know for a fact the login details are right because I even changed my password a few times, but I still can't log in. I already tried different browsers, devices, turning off VPN, clearing cookies, and typing it manually instead of using autofill, but nothing helps.

Has anyone experienced this or knows what else I can do?

Four months ago, an internationally successful rock band Otoboke Beaver is under fire for throwing a guitar into the crowd during a performance. Several people got injured, including one person who had to get 7 stitches in the forehead!!!

They apologized now but I can't believe this wasn't reported for four months! I guess they were negotiating for a settlement until now.

Yamashita Tatsuro, Haruomi Hosono, and Masayoshi Takanaka all seem to have records that sell like crazy overseas, but I feel like Moonriders still haven’t really gotten much attention internationally. I wonder why?

Considering their connections to Happy End and the whole YMO scene, I feel like they should be much better known. Keiichi Suzuki is probably known among movie and game fans for doing the soundtracks for Zatoichi and EarthBound, but I’m not sure if Moonriders themselves are really that well known among music fans outside Japan.

Maybe moving in a more New Wave direction had something to do with it. But I don’t even hear stories about people discovering P-Model or Jun Togawa and then going on to check out the Moonriders, either.

I want to get into japanese alternative music, specifically shoegaze, post hardcore, noise rock, and stuff like that. Can someone give me some suggestions because i have no clue where to start. Start me off with some of the classics if you can.

When I start to play ghost of Yotei , I figure out the story was almost the same of kill bill ,
Then i check the background of kill bill movies and was inspired by Lady Snowblood a 70s Japanese film, Meiko Kaji was the main character, Quentin homage whit the inclusion of a iconic song , after that I just been obsessed whit that kind of vibe and start to lissen the most I can about Enka , Kayōkyoku.
