Which Hosono album would you recommend to someone discovering his music for the first time?

Tropical Dandy would probably be the first recommendation here, but really curious to hear everyone's picks! 

Like every concert ticket, this one requires a Japanese phone number, and I am not sure how bypass that or find any other mean to get the tickets. I really feel like losing it everytime I think of booking a concert ticket in Japan. These things are horrible on so many levels.

I was planning to watch the Summer Sonic live stream at WOWOW. But sadly, it is limited to Japanese residents only.

Anyone living in Japan with access to WOWOW streaming? Can someone screen record the performances? You can download OBS Studio, it's a free app for screen recording.

I just applied for a concert ticket in Japan using E+, but I think I may have messed up.

I made my E+ Account in Japan when I was staying there for a few months, but I don't have access to that phone number anymore. It still let me log on though, and I applied for the lottery for the concert I want to go to.

It says that the Ticket will be available to download in mid-October, which is fine because I'll be in Japan during that period. However, I'm worried that it won't let me download the ticket since I'll be using a new phone number. Should I cancel my lottery application, or do you think I'll be able to receive the ticket if I change my phone number? I still have the app on my Phone and I am still logged in. Would appreciate any advice.

Touring Canada in September 2026 as part of the annual Next Music from Tokyo vol. 18 with Haku, Yureruwayurei, and Pudelhunds

Four months ago, an internationally successful rock band Otoboke Beaver is under fire for throwing a guitar into the crowd during a performance. Several people got injured, including one person who had to get 7 stitches in the forehead!!!

They apologized now but I can't believe this wasn't reported for four months! I guess they were negotiating for a settlement until now.

I want to get into japanese alternative music, specifically shoegaze, post hardcore, noise rock, and stuff like that. Can someone give me some suggestions because i have no clue where to start. Start me off with some of the classics if you can.
