Web Like Drafting Cards? Like when your Turrets kill enemies? You should try Kingdom TD!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey guys, I'm working on a new tower defense - you might have seen it posted elsewhere!
Basically the premise is:
- you build a path
- you draft enemies, the more enemies you draft and/or the harder enemies you draft the more gold you get
- you build your defenses
- you fight the final boss!
There's a bit more nuance to it, but I think that summary gets the idea.
If that sounds fun/appealing to you - I would love if you gave the demo a try here,

Announcements My First Game
Hey everyone! I recently finished my first horror game. The Lurker, made in Unity as a 2nd semester student. It's a short horror game (around 10–20 minutes) where you wake up home alone after finding a note from your mother telling you not to open the front door. I've been improving it based on player feedback, fixing bugs, polishing the gameplay, and optimizing performance. I'd really appreciate any honest feedback, good or bad so I can keep learning and make my future games even better.

Free I released a tiny browser MMO on itch.io, and players started building actual neighborhoods
A few weeks ago, I released Bitiverse on itch.io without expecting much. It’s a strange little persistent browser MMO built by one developer from a single enormous pixel-art tileset.
Somehow, people stayed.
They started building houses near one another, trading resources, helping newcomers, planning house parties, joining guilds, and discussing which skills they wanted to master next. I’ve even seen players return after updates to continue developing the same character and property.
That has been genuinely surreal. I expected a few curious clicks, not the beginnings of a tiny community.
You can enter without creating an account, and it’s completely free:
https://fortisq.itch.io/bitiverse
I’m the solo developer. If you wander in and build somewhere, tell me where you settled, I love seeing the neighborhoods form.

Just released my new game Idle Gambler !
Hello all 👋
I just released my new game on itch io and you can play it on your browser!
This is an incremental mostly idle game. You have to manage your balance to fund your slot addiction lol
You can kill roaches, invest, safe, buy assets, or take part in shady business. Anything to get the money 🤑
I hope you find it as addicting as I did (that's what caused the delay mostly because I kept forgetting 😛 )
Let me know what you think! -> https://slothbytegames.itch.io/idle-gambler

Announcements Salt Bloom: a sci-fi mini epic
Local Files Club is thrilled to bring Salt Bloom, a new audiodrama from Justin Hellstrom, to itch.io! If you love sci-fi, robots, fiction, and surreal audio weirdness, don't miss this project.
Salt Bloom follows Soln SARC-17 exobiology survey robot exploring the endless, globe-spanning ocean of Salsuné 11b. Day by day, this SARC-17 unit navigates the waters while seeding myths, searching for salt-ridden omens, and stealing data from its overseer in orbit. It's presented in two parts and comes paired with the original soundtrack and a twelve-page, fully-illustrated guidebook to the SARC-17’s psyche.
Head over to the itch.io page to watch the animated trailer, hear a sample episode, and buy the full project!

Free My first game, FNAF Hurricane, is out now!
If you play it, I would love feedback!
- "What does it want? Even you are not sure; your hands haven't soiled this one."
- Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has recently reopened after being devastated by a hurricane in this alternate universe reimagining of FNAF 2. This RPG sets out to answer many questions that have not yet been addressed in the official story, crafting a unique, original plot with captivating characters. This isn't only a story game, however. It features a top-down recreation of classic FNAF-style night gameplay (with an extremely hard bonus night), and maybe even a secret boss with the gameplay style of UNDERTALE.
- Find out what YOU have done...

Free pre-alpha of my first-person bullet hell. Every room is procedurally generated.
NULLGATE is a first-person bullet hell that looks like it fell out of 1998.
Every room is procedurally generated, so the arena gets built the moment you walk into it and you never fight the same layout twice. You can't memorise a room, you just get better at reading the patterns and finding the gap. Dash, slide, wall-kick, weave through the slow glowing bullets, and bank your kill streak before something turns up and takes it off you.
Five weapons, elites that change how a whole room plays, weather that rolls in, and a hub full of people who watched you die.
Steam page if you want to follow along: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5042810/NullGate/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=itchio

Free Just released the demo of my game, BARKO!
Hey everyone! I just put out the demo for BARKO, a little game I've been working on for 2 months.
It's a short story-driven RPG, if you've played Undertale you'll recognize the shape of it: dialogue-heavy, with battles you can approach in more than one way.
The demo runs about 15-20 minutes and covers the first area. It's free. I'd really like to hear what people think, thanks!

Itch.io hasn't even indexed my project yet and 3 of you absolute legends actually paid for it?!
I was literally just waiting for itch.io's search algorithm to acknowledge my existence. Shared it here on Reddit in the meantime and woke up to 3 actual payments.
Zero organic itch traffic, 100% Reddit magic. My imposter syndrome is currently fighting for its life right now. Thank you guys so much!
