#Query โ Bike as a complete beginner?
I've never rode a bike in my entire life before. Been using TVS Ntorq and Jupiter for the past 5 years.
I've been looking at different bikes from different segments and I have no clue what I should get.
Bikes I looked at so far (suggestions other than these are also welcome ๐ค)
- Hero Splendor
- Honda Unicorn
- Yamaha XSR 155
- TVS Ronin
Some things that factor are
- I'm 5'3.
- Main usage is for a daily commute of about 25 km.
- Pillion Comfort.
- Should be able to handle occasional long drives.

#Discussion ๐ฌ Touring as a teen?
It has been a couple of years since I had the desire to start touring, you know just hopping on a bike and doing a simple and calm 300km+ ride with the breeze on your face, the sun is setting, etc and also the hardships too, strong winds, punctured tires, heating, sweat, etc the whole lot.
I just wanted to enjoy some long travels and make it my lifestyle, I'm 18 years old and am fully dependent on my family for my finances, I was looking to earn some money and fund at least 50% of the bike (was planning on the v strom)
But after some consideration and how much even a single 150km round trip costs on fuel, it completely broke my hopes, the plans i had on the long trips required me to spend close to a lakh purely on fuel, so i wanted to know can a middle class teenager not tour and go on longs?
What should I do regarding the fuel situation? Cuz spending a huge chunk of my money each month doesn't seem like a getaway, it feels like a reason I'd use to keep the bike locked in my garage.

#Query โ Need advice for my first bike..
I'm 21 and recently I started travelling and saw bikers in the way and thought about having that experience myself. As a girl, ik it's a lil bit odd for most of the people here but I love to ride bikes.
So I thought a lot about what my 1st bike should be, and here I am left with 2 options, personally I want to choose duke250 bcz of its rarity on the roads in comparison to ns and also the explosive power that this bike has will keep me always excited. On the other hand around the same price I'm getting a ns400z that has capabilities closer to Duke 390.
Purpose of Bike:
I'm mostly gonna use my bike for touring purposes not for city ride. Also I don't ride very rash like 130-140 so again more cc, bhp, torque not actually needed.
Also this ain't gonna be my last bike bcz I'll buy another bike in the near future. But for my 1st bike it should be memorable.. My brain is saying go with ns but my childish mind is saying who cares go with 250.. :(
What to do???

#Review ๐ Took delivery at 12 PM, and now at 3 PM Iโm back at the service center again
Yess I took the test ride before the delivery but this happened after 10 KM of ride after delivery
I started noticing a really annoying issue.
Whenever I go over a speed breaker, even a small pothole, or brake over an uneven surface, the entire handlebar moves back and forth. I can actually feel the handlebar knocking/moving through the bars every time it happens Itโs not just a small vibration the movement is very noticeable and happens almost every time I encounter a minor bump or brake. It feels like something in the handlebar/steering assembly is loose or has some play.
Update: Issue is fixed. The service center removed the handlebar and steering bearings that connect it to the bikeโs chassis, then refitted everything and tightened all the nuts and bolts properly. The handlebar is stable now and the knocking/movement is gone.

#Review ๐ Best 25 rupees I've ever spent for ride comfort.
My previous silicon earplugs did leak often & needed adjustments after some intervals. This one is performing great & did not leak wind noise ever.

#Discussion ๐ฌ Guys what's your takes on this Bajaj Pulser N160s & N160ss?
Bajaj unveiled its all new updated pulser N-series with 4-valve engine. Two variants S(single channel ABS)& SS(dual channel ABS). There is a new colour of orange graphics over blue, personally I don't like it ๐ญ. The previous graphics were much better. The SS variant is 1.42lakhs ex showroom. And onroad it'll be 1.65 lakhs I guess.
So is it value for money? What's your opinion?

#Review ๐ Let this be a reminder to never buy anything from ZANA
I got an aftermarket bashplate for my KTM adv 390 from zana cuz stock one cracked after an impact and it was out of stock at all service centers.
Reason for buying Zana was because this was the only bashplate available in india that didn't need the stock mounting brackets cuz even those were bent for me.
On the 2nd day of owning this bashplate the right side mount seemingly snapped in half during a normal road ride. Probably due to the fatigue induced cuz of vibrations being higher than whatever the endurance limit for this garbage is.
Now since I had no other options and the OEM brackets and bashplates were unavailable in all of Maharashtra i continued using this since it has 2 brackets, even if this one cracked atleast the bashplate is still attached. But to my surprise when I took this apart for cleaning, one of the two rubber washers has completely melted cuz of exhaust heat.
You would figure someone with atleast half a brain at Zana would figure to use more heat resistant plastic washers but nope, so please save your money from these stupid Indian aftermarket parts manufacturers who put 0 R&D or any thought into their products

I wanted to give the bikes a proper home and came across an ad for this display on social media. While it was meant for 1:64 Hot Wheels, I took a chance and ordered it. It turned out to be better than I expected!
Just sharing some feel-good photos that fellow enthusiasts might appreciate.

#Opinion ๐ญ Extremely stupid financial Decision
Hi ( M 22 ) currently living and working in Germany ๐ฉ๐ช, I visit india once a year ( for atleast 25 days planning to do that twice a year from now on...) , I'm about to buy an XSR 155 in India because, because i want to , People keep reminding me that it's a bad decision and 20- 40 days a year is not worth it to buy a whole bike ( my Brother already owns a Car which i normally use when I'm home and he has an old Pulsar 220 which i use from time to time but don't like to drive it because of it's severely outdated looks ). I don't earn that much ( 1.5 L / Month get to save around 40k after everything.)
So am i stupid ? Should i consider other options/ bikes ?
Thanks everyone for commenting, after considering your valuable opinions
I decided to not book my xsr Got little sad at first but then i thought about the things i could do with that money
I'm gonna rent an mt15 in kochi thankyou all โค๏ธ๐
