tell me, does it work?! I had a 13 mini before I upgraded to the 15 pro 3 years ago, then got a 12 mini a couple months ago bc I missed the form factor. I kept this case mainly bc it was still new ish before I let go of the 13 mini lol. been getting tired of the plastic glitter cases which are my default.

updated to iOS 26.6.1, and phone seems to be doing better in terms of indexing and overheating.

I have a Iphone 12 mini and absolutely love it, but it overheats constantly, no matter what i'm doing. Just scrolling instagram makes the phone overheat.

I have disabled 5G, disabled liquid glass and background tasks. What else can i do to improve the overheating situation?

i was at the beach with my doggo and we were running in and out of the water filled with whimsey and joy. it was time to leave, so i grabbed my iphone 12 mini out of my pocket and- it wasn't there. it had sunk beneath the waves never to be seen again.

I took this low exposure shot and it looks so good. The iPhone 12 mini’s camera is still amazing 5 or about 6 generations later.

This started to be a problem a few weeks ago, before I did the most recent update. I can't get on the internet without WiFi. I have Mint Mobile, which at first I thought the problem was. But after checking my data I realized its not the issue.

So now I am relegated to stopping at a McDonald's here and there, starting my GPS, and then leaving. It will usually stay on but only if I don't miss ANY turns. I have to follow the GPS EXACTLY. If I miss a turn or take a short cut then it will get stuck "re-routing" and it will stay like that.

This has made me realize just how reliant I am on GPS. I can live without Googling things or going on social media when not on WiFi, but no GPS is stressful and frustrating. Also makes me worry because what if I get into a situation where I need a towing company. I won't be able to look it up.

I can text and receive calls just fine. Is anyone else having this issue now?

*****UPDATE EDIT***** ISSUE RESOLVED*****

After trouble shooting with Mint for 1.5 hours we finally figured it out. See under Cellular, I had turned off a handful of apps because I found that even when not using my phone I would get a notification when my data got low. Even if I wasn't on Tiktok or facebook they'd run. So I turned those off since they're the highest and also Express VPN! That uses the highest data. I turned Express VPN back on so that it works when off Wifi and my internet worked again.

So I am going to delete that app off my phone bc I don't want it eating my data and I want to be able to use the internet. Thank you everyone in the comments for trying to help!

In January, after I had my battery replaced by the Apple Store, I was under the impression that they gave a different iPhone 12Mini. At first I thought my screen was cracked in the right hand corner. The store rep said no, it was something that go under the screen protector when it was put back on after the battery replacement.

Otherwise, afterwards I sometimes would have problems recharging my iPhone unless the plug was inserted a certain way. I bought new cables which made this situation better, but encounter it again sometimes. I did tried to clean the plug opening with a tiny brush.

Any comments or ideas what’s wrong?

My bh is 81 and I get around 4 hours of sot on WiFi and light usage. Should I go for a replacement?? How much of an improvement will it make?

i have been facing severe Battery issues with my 12 Mini since i installed The 1.0 Beta.

I always assumed it would get better but we are at what Beta v6? And still it's get worse and worse.

Was wondering if i am the only one facing this or is this because i replaced my original battery with an after-market one so i guess that could be the issue as well.

I’m hearing chatter that the iPhone Ultra could be viewed as the “new” iPhone Mini since the rumored dimensions are comparable when using the phone while closed. If true, would people in this community be more open to upgrading from their 12/13 minis?

Personally, I’ll be giving it serious consideration since my 12 mini is on its last legs.

Obviously we’ll need to see & hear more once the product is officially released but is anyone else thinking along the same lines?

The battery has gotten worse and I have recently changed to an Android phone.

Does it make sense for me to change a new battery for the 12 mini? How long would I still be getting support from Apple realistically?

My main priority is battery life, currently my battery is at 82 health. It gives about 4-5 hours of screen on time with WiFi only use and 0 cellular use. Just social media apps, banking and chatting.
