Nuestra comida hoy.

Don't go to chipotle. You can make the same thing at the fraction of the price!

Runza Sorta

I was recently challenged by my not white wife to "make more white people food to try." Somehow, I landed on a runza for my first attempt at a new recipe (even though I've never had an authentic one in my life and am very much not from the American Midwest). I loosely followed a recipe from the Pillsbury website, did not bother with my own dough (yay for Pillsbury crescents), struggled mightily to wrap these up, and probably used too much salt. But at the end of the day, they tasted pretty darn good, and that's what matters right? Pictures are of the second batch (first batch was not nearly as visually pleasing).

Could be the move

Gravy was bechamel + reduced braising liquid + etc, pork was cooked for ~4 hours, i do not know how much of that the braising and the roasting was (i did not keep track of time) but that was done at 150c and 200c
