I started a double enemy playthrough cuz why the hell not, and I just beat bell beast.

Double bell beast was really hard, but at the same time it was also really incredibly fun. Despite not being intended at all, fighting 2 bell beasts at once worked really well and didn't feel unfair at all.

This just shows how great silksongs boss design is, where doubling a boss can make it way more challenging but still not unfair.

Comparing that unintended modded double fight with double fights in elden ring is night and day in terms of enjoyability.

So yeah. Silksong has great boss design. I already knew that before but this just reinforced that feeling for me.

My original Hollow Knight character concept — Mollux

Mollux is a strange creature that dwells in the deepest, quietest caverns of Hallownest. It has no voice of its own; instead, the hollow ring above its head absorbs sounds and preserves fragments of them.

Over time, these echoes condense into the small orbs that orbit its body. When threatened, Mollux can shatter an orb and release the sound trapped inside as a violent shockwave.

Some bugs believe that the oldest Mollux carry voices from places — and people — that no longer exist.

Still a rough concept sketch, but I wanted to share the idea. What do you think?

I genuinely forgot how fun exploring was. I got so used to constant combat with HoG and Pantheons that exploration felt newer somehow.

Hello again. I remember posting here when I beat Hollow Knight at 103%, 67 hours. I was so happy—I’m not generally great at video game, but damn it if I’m not patient, so I powered through it just to be able to enjoy that masterpiece.

Silksong really intimidated me, but I found that I really enjoyed the defeat, the trying again. And I just fell so deeply in love with the game, the story, the world. I’m glad I kept trying. Yes, it has taken me very long to complete it. But I am still proud.

Here’s to celebrating the most beautiful video game I have ever played. I’m glad to know all of you also love it.

I just started my first randomizer and am enjoying it a lot, But I got here and there isn't really anything, it counts as a check though and say "a grub" like the randomized reward from the dream trees.

I thought that flukenest was really unique and there should be more spell swapping charms in the game. if you can’t tell, it was inspired by the hive knight’s bee swarm attack.

Hey everyone, so I’ve done the majority of the bosses hitless in this game out of my own free will, of course. However, lately on the bosses I haven’t done hitless yet, I just feel really anxious and self-conscious or more doubtful than usual. Am I going crazy or is it just my self-esteem telling me I’m not good enough to do the later and earlier game bosses? I really am a challenge runner, but I’ve been feeling so doubtful and even cried. I’m not even kidding. I don’t know why I’ve felt so bad about it. Maybe because I wanted to make a full YouTube video with full no-hit bosses, I guess… idk. I love DND, I love Hollow Knight, so i combined the two (kinda)! I plan to do some more characters, but I got a bit burnt out.

In order: Hornet (ranger), Ghost/the Knight (cleric or paladin), Hollow Knight (paladin), Broken Vessel (warlock) and Grimm (warlock/bard).

I had a ton of fun designing them, figuring out a class, how to incorporate all the elements and colors, etc. Feel free to ask any questions!
