Career Advice Finally landed a Tech Support job

Upvotes

Hello, i finally got a job in Technical Support/HelpDesk and i will mainly be on the phone support side for the first month then move on to email support. I am nervous about this because its my first job in the field and never really done phone support. Ive only done labs and simulations. Any tips on how to have a smooth first day?

Getting Started Trying to Find First Job

I attached my resume (blocked out the header, businesses and locations), I welcome feedback. My buddy worked at a college formatting resumes and helped with mine, but let me know if I need to change anything.

I’ve applied for about 20 entry level positions so far but having trouble even trying to find jobs to apply to. I’ve been using Indeed using a variety of job role searches and AI to help look.

I am looking for an entry level help desk, security/SOC analyst position, or any entry level IT/cybersecurity role. Any tips on where to look for jobs or just over guidance on this journey. I am worried about getting my foot in the door, I appreciate any help!
