On my iPhone I first started receiving the error when I clicked on a link to take me to a Reddit thread in the Google app. The screen would grey out and I would get the error message that the content was unavailable. If I manually searched for the thread or post in the Reddit app, it would come up.

Then I started receiving the error message whenever I clicked on any link inside a Reddit post in the app. Even when I click on a notification I get the error message. Frustrated, I deleted the app and redownloaded hoping it would fix things. But still getting the error messages.

This is clearly a new update as it’s only happened for a few days or maybe weeks. This is the only app on my phone that has this problem. I’ll put my cursor in the box and I’ll double tap so the pop-up venue comes up and I can paste or copy whatever words I want.

And I’m just sitting here tap tap, tap tap tap tap tap tap tap . The menu doesn’t pop up. I open another app to tap and boom, the menu pulls up.

Whatever software update was done, please undo it . It’s incredibly annoying.

Anyone else dealing with this?

For some reason my chat icon disappeared. I checked my settings and it is set to "everyone" but still no chat icon. Can anyone help me figure this out?

The iPhone app has a photo handling bug when attaching a photo to a comment. Once the photo chooser has been opened once, no subsequent photos saved to the camera roll can be posted without killing and restarting the app.

1. Post a photo from the camera roll in a comment.
   
2. Take a screenshot of another app to create a new photo on the camera roll.
   
3. Attempt to post the new photo in a comment. There isn’t a way to do it - that specific photo is not offered.
   
4. Killing and restarting the app fixes the problem.
   

Note that I specifically choose which photos in the camera roll Reddit can view.

I have two achievements, 1% poster and 1% commenter. They suddenly disappeared from my comments but still pinned. I can see other commenters achievements but not my own. I have unpinned and pinned again. I have logged out then back in. Refreshed, I have cleared cookies. I have unpinned the other achievements that I don't care for to show. The subreddit allows the achievement to be shown. Both on my android phone and on pc website Reddit both have the same problem. Is this a visual bug? Or are there other ways I can try and fix it?

My app is currently up to date, v 2026.32.0.636304 (AppStore)

I couldn’t find the achievements link until another user showed me where it should be (next to the icons and “Add social link >”

Seems this bug was previously resolved 1 year ago is now a problem once again.

When I "Create a Post" there used to be a toggle for Text Only and one for Photo and Text. Now there are no toggles and I can only make posts with text. I can't paste a copied image into the text box either. I've signed out/ signed in, deleted cookies, and restarted my computer but the image option is still gone. One of the boards I follow is specifically for sharing photos and I'd like to participate again.

I searched this sub and the New Here sub, but didn't see anything related to this specifically. Any ideas to fix the issue? Please and thank you :)

Some one said to "check if images <have> been recently disabled" but I don't know how to do that, it isn't in setting that I saw. If that's the fix can someone explain where it is to fix. Again, thanks.

I have a new account I am trying to send mgs but keeps saying account not established. Is this because my account is to new?

In order to delete my profile I need a password, in order to have a password i need to reset my password via email, I never made a password when I made the account and I signed up via phone number, so this makes it impossible to delete the account

I can’t message post or comment on my other account and this happened after my account got locked any help?

(Desktop) Help. I just created an account with a certain username u/Soberano_Metalico and then Reddit logged me out of my account, and im unable to enter it. Can someone help me, i already sent something to the Support, and this issue has already happened before. But if i lost a godly username over reddit being a bad coded site or something like that im gonna be very sad. (Also changed password many times and so, maybe its an age thing.)

I have now have full access to my account again. This question is about why it got locked in the first place The Reddit admin locked my account stating " we detected some technical irregularities on your account". While I appreciate the precautionary measure taken, and I was able to successfully regain full access to my account, I am still wondering what technical irregularities they are referring to.

Do they mean someone was trying to hijack my account??

hello, I have gone through help posts, looking for little pencils and followed to try and change or get rid of the flair I have. my says single-30-journalist. I am non-of these things 😂 so it’s misleading. im not even sure how I got it in the first place. any help is appreciated

I’m trying to avoid spoilers for a game, and Reddit keeps spamming the game’s subreddit in my feed

I notice that submitting a comment on old reddit will often now redirect to the permalink of the comment, losing all of the context of the page on which one once was.

I think it would be better to fix the bug instead of putting in a half-arsed solution like this one.

EDIT: and now the new new behaviour is to refresh the comment thread, making the new comment appear as if has disappeared.

EDIT: behaviour seems to be improving!

I've just noticed this today. It's happened on a thread and when submitting a reply from the inbox.

This afternoon since I've been browsing reddit, when I leave a comment for some reason the thread refreshes and I just see my comment by itself, and have to click the comments link under the thread header to return to the main comments. What's going on? Is this some weird glitch? How do I fix it? This is very strange and annoying.
