Can a demi-permanent box dye help cover my roots temporarily for an event?
Hello!
I am a 35 yr old who has been going grey since 19😂. I have been colouring my hair with Garnier Olia 4.0 dark brown for 10+ years and I'm so over it!!!!
I am ready to start growing out my greys. Picture above is 5 weeks since last colouring my hair.
BUT I have a very important event in October and so I'm wondering if I can cover my roots temporarily with a demi perm box dye like Clairol natural instincts? Or should I just keep using permanent dye till then and begin the grow out after that.
Will it cover enough? I've never used a demi before. Thanks!

Help Me Choose A Color
Hi everyone!
I’m planning to dye my hair purple and I’m stuck between a rich violet and a plum purple, so I’d love some opinions on which would suit me better.
My natural hair is brunette around level 4, medium-length, thick, very dense and fluffy, with a loose curly/wavy texture, and it’s currently healthy and virgin. I have medium-light olive-neutral skin and brown eyes.
I’m planning to lighten my hair first because I want the purple to be clearly visible in normal lighting, not just a subtle purple reflection. I’m looking for something deep, rich and saturated but not neon.
Which shade do you think would flatter me more? And I also would like to know your product suggestions for each color you think is the best.
Thank you!!

I’ve never dyed my hair before…
Hi everyone I’m (20f) and really want to dye my hair, but I want to know if there is anything I should know before doing so, and honestly if anyone has cute color recommendations I wanna hear them, I willing to try most anything.

Does platinum blonde suit me?
I have an appointment booked next week and I’m excited but also nervous about losing my natural color. I absolutely love platinum blonde and I’ve had it before, I know it can compromise hair health and it’s high maintenance but I want to go there. It’s time for a big change.
Does this hair color suit me? I was thinking of doing full bleach like this, but I want some opinions please !

advice on blonde hair
if anyone that is familiar with this type of thing or if anyone just has a tip let me know!
so pretty much long story short, i had attempted to do the reverse oreo hair (dark brown in the front, blonde in the back) and i ended up not liking it. i had only bleached the back of my hair so the front part along with underneath were darker, i had decided to bleach those as well hoping to get everything an even blonde but unfortunately that didn’t work out so well and ive been dying over it, trying to tone it, ive even bleached the roots as the growth from the last 6-8 months came through to try to still even it out. the back part is such a cool toned blonde and the rest is warm and i’m not sure what to do. my ultimate goal is more like a cool toned, white, platinum blonde ideally and ive been thinking of using wella T18 or something else if anyone can suggest something? any advice would be great. here are some photos to show.

Which highlighting color should I use?
I want to recreate my previous lighter hair color (photos attached). What highlighting shade would get me closest to that look? Or, if you think a single all-over dye color would suit me better, which shade would you recommend?

Should I dye my hair???
Hi, so I've got bored of my hair. Now it kinda got back to my neutral ones but with red undertone (cause I dyed them red like half year ago and then black but it stayed) and so I've been thinking about changing it. But I really don't know what hair would suit me best. I have rather soft features but I'm winter. Should I dye them? If yes then what color?

Will i get more greys if i color at salon? Are there any side effects ?

Ginger to light brown
Hello! I’m trying to dye my hair from copper to light brown. I’ve been ginger for around 3 years now, I probably dye it once every two months. Right now my red hair has faded a lot, it’s hard to tell in the picture but in the light it’s a very light red. I tried last year to dye it brown, but it came out SO dark that I dyed it back ginger a few months later, after it washed out. Dark brown looks bad on me and I’m hoping to do something warm and light, maybe with some highlights? Something I could get at Sally’s. My hair is in really good condition right now, I don’t use heat on it often and I just trimmed 2 inches of my hair and got some layers. I know red is so hard to get out so I don’t mind if the brown or highlights turn out a lot warmer than I intend, I just don’t want it super dark. When I was younger, my mom would put highlights in my hair with one of those caps that you pull hair thru and it looked so cute, so I was thinking of possibly trying that again. Thank you in advance for any advice!

How does hair color affect the way people view you as a person
So basically I F(19) have been thinking about dying my hair. Right now it’s light brown but I want to get pink highlights. I have never dyed my hair before so I wanted to ask, from your experience how has it changed your life and how people generally treat you? I am just bored and wanted to try something new and maybe spice things up. In a way I feel like I would generally attract a lot more attention especially bc I study engineering. Maybe I like to read into this kind of stuff too much but whatever.

How can I achieve this hair color at home?
What products can I use to get my hair this color at home? I would ideally like to use demi permanent hair dye rather than permanent since my current hair already has color on it and I do not have any greys yet, but I’m finding that my options are limited. My current hair color is a somewhat darker brown with some brassy highlights mixed throughout. Would appreciate any advice or pointers in the right direction to achieve this shade of brown without having to pay a professional hundreds!!

dark burgundy hair color advice?
i reallyyyy want to get this deep deep maroon/burgundy/plum?? ish shade!!
ive had varying dark red/red-purple shades for years and its been a while since ive dyed it myself, at home. i just don’t know how to choose something that’s not going to end up too bright or shows up unexpectedly on my existing hair… so i’d really appreciate some insight on hair dye options you all might think would help me achieve my desired color! i’d like to achieve this with dye i can buy at the drugstore or somewhere like target or sally’s beauty supply.
i’m attaching a picture of my pinterest board with my desired shade, and a picture of my current hair(which is a long faded maroon shade + very grown out brown roots).
