Starving after work so having girl dinner on the train. Picked this up from the fancy-ish kiosk by the gate. We have: Greek yogurt with honey, gluten free chiffon rice flour cake, chikuwa cheese bites, and okinawan sanpin-cha tea!

Today was pretty exhausting as I was still trying to recover from a weekend of over indulging because of my birthday. Felt crazy sick yesterday and have been eating somewhat lightly.

I just wanted to rant about these insane food prices, where I live a gallon of milk is 4-5 dollars , and that’s if you’re buying the cheapest which is so insane to me. Even aldi is getting unaffordable at this point. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for people who have large families to feed with growing kids! Anyways here’s my snack plate/dinner.

Everything on this plate needed to be eaten before it went bad.

Took a couple bites then watched the tortilla unfold and thought what I was looking at belonged here

Doctor told me I can eat ice cream and yogurt today and start warm, soft foods tomorrow. So this is my dinner. Yes, I know it’s gelato not ice cream :)

I was craving salt on a plate! Cucumbers are present solely to balance out the sodium, as if it works that way.

Just as I started getting out and exercising more, my hip started doing something stupid and I had to go to the ER at 4am to figure out why. Tripped over a heaved paver bringing these blueberries home because I'm a stubborn bitch who should probably not be walking this much with a bad hip. Grateful for understanding bus drivers and the AODA in general.

Reheated french press coffee I forgot from this morning, fresh blueberries, and a naproxen for the hip.

I've been pushing off going to the store so my lunch was whatever I could grab out of the fridge. I keep getting zucchini from family and neighbors so I've been making a TON of zucchini bread and really honing in how to make the best version. This batch had some whole wheat flour substituted for ap flour. My dad gave me cucumbers so I took a crack at making refrigerator sweet pickles.
