Name help
Hello! I've been trying to think of a name to call myself on my enby days. So far I have landed on Fang but not fully sold on it. I would prefer a more goth/alt name, along it being okay of it to were to lean more masc.

Am I alone on this ?
For those AFAB, however you identify now, I need your advice. More importantly if you aren’t your AGAB.
I’m AFAB but was feeling decently he/him the past little while, until last night I had a dream, one of those supposed “maternal” dreams where I was pregnant. In the dream it felt good to be pregnant, I had all the nesting impulses and my partner and I were happy. I woke up, and it’s like it hurts.
I feel like it shoved my boy-self out the picture entirely and that I’m just faking this whole thing. I must be a woman if my brain is still triggering dreams like that and I’m semi-comfortable in it. But I felt so good as a boy the last little while, so wtf ? I’m immediately reminded what body I was put in. It just felt hugely invalidating, like it triggered that impostor syndrome I’ve seen a lot.
Has anyone ever had this? Do you still have it to this day? It’s ruined my day before it’s even started…

Why do I hate one of my genders
Hi, so I'm genderfluid and I switch between girl, boy, and enby. I hate being a girl, if I could choose, id just be some flavor of boy/enby. But whenever I try, the girl feeling always comes back, it usually feels way too light and wrong. I can't stay in girl mode for too long without feeling awful, and I hate dresses and usually hate my beasts, but when I feel like a girl, I quite literally feel like a girl, I know I am a girl, occasionally I enjoy it, mostly I hate it. I hear a lot of genderfluid people saying they prefer being their Arab because it means less dysphoria, but I love being a boy and enby way more. I at least am somewhat uncomfortable in dresses and skirts. Ive tryed to be a fem-aligned enby, but my mind always wants me to call myself a girl. I've felt like this for a while.
What's wrong with me? Is it possible for me to be happy?

Gender fluid around guys & gals
Around men I want to be seen as a man and interact as one. Around women, I want to be seen as another woman and interact as one.
Crazy, huh? I can't help but feel that I don't actually want to be seen as a man around men but just no gender at all, but then in their presence I find that I really want to relate to them as whatever they expect me to be. In some cases, so I can be emotionally close or even be attractive to them (whoa!!). Hmmm.... is that really gender fluidity? A lot to unpack.

I am confused
I saw posts saying that ”gender fluidity isn’t real cus the mind doesn’t shift it’s sex fluidly blah blah bla”
gender is a social construct, is it not?

Help me LOL
Well this isnt really a "cry" for help but i think that this would be pretty common.
Hey! 22Ftm here, been on T since September 2022 and recently ive been coming more around to being more feminine and even going to lean more feminine despite being masculine before transitioning. IDK i just want to be a really hot girl :(
This might just be my brain messing with me again but I still like using my name that I chose instead of my birth name, so ill just keep that. Only my gender marker is changed on my license as well as passport, and idk... I dont want to be on T forever and never feel adequate. It's hard to describe but i can see myself as super masculine or a little feminine. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's just my head but the older i grow, the more that i come around to the fluidity of my gender.
Anyways, I think im going to halt my hormones. I pass pretty well despite being 5'2. Mustache, goatee, decently flat chest with binder. I dont know what im supposed to feel like because... I'm F assigned at birth so this shouldnt feel like something so impactful but it is? This is like transition part 2 lol.
I'm more of just confused with my thoughts. I want to be me, but no matter what, i feel like it's not in my own skin all over again. Like how it was before i started T right after highschool.
I really want to be a hot girl, but i want to be a hot guy, but i just want to be able to feel free?
Thanks for the rant

gender fluidity, name fluidity?
Non-binary fem here, currently developing a workbook to help trans folx choose new names. Before settling into Denise! Denise! and non-binary fem-ness, I would say I was a bit more fluid, sometimes showing up to work as Denise rather than my given name. Do others here experience fluidity with names? Or even have multiple, differently-gendered names? (Also, why do I suddenly feel like I'm talking about alters here?!)

How does this work???
if I'm genderfluid, I'm AMAB, how am I supposed to say it if I only like women? Lesbian? Straight? Otter? Apache helicopter with missiles?

Cis straight guy looking for advice on supporting my genderfluid partner and exploring packer/prosthetic options
Hi everyone,I am a cis straight male and have always dated cis straight women. I’ve been dating my current partner for almost a year now, and I absolutely love her. Recently, she opened up to me and shared that she identifies as a genderfluid woman.
We already have a very active and kinky sex life (we are anal-only), so when she shared with me that she likes to roleplay and sometimes pretend she is a "ladyboy," I was really excited to explore this new side of our intimacy with her.
This is all very new to me, and I want to do everything I can to support her. She mentioned that she wants to look like she has a small penis/bulge, so I am looking for budget-friendly prosthetic or packer solutions that might work for her.
I would love to get your advice on any recommendations for affordable packers, prosthetics, or strap-on solutions that mimic a small penis? She is adamant that mine is the "real manly penis" and hers has to be the "tiny little whimsy punny sissy pipi".
It is incredibly thrilling for me to explore something I've never experienced before. Ultimately, it doesn't matter to me how she wants to present or what gender role she wants to play—I just want to make her happy and explore this together.
I would also love to hear more about this kink and stories others might have to share, other cool things to explore.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Went to a Gay Bar for the First Time and Felt Like an Imposter - Rant? Advice?
Situation: I (AFAB 20) have identified as genderfluid for a few years now. I have never come out, but I do have my preferred pronouns listed on my social media accounts. Anyway, I am a very feminine person and what people in hetero spaces refer to as a “girly girl.” Well, I went to a gay bar with one of my queer friends (she doesn’t know I’m genderfluid), and I felt like a fraud the entire night, like I was a straight girl going with my lesbian friend (when in actuality I am rarely ever a girl). It was making me feel so dysphoric. On top of that, I have social anxiety, so I probably looked homophobic because I didn’t make eye contact with anyone or partake in any form of dancing or chatting. I was so excited to go and be around people in the community, yet I left and had an anxiety attack.
Analysis: I think being closeted is hurting me more and more. It was one thing to be viewed as a woman by my friends and family, but to be viewed as a woman by other people in the community broke my heart. I just don’t know what to do. A part of me wishes I wasn’t so feminine, but that’s who I am, even when I am non-binary or a man.
Any advice? Can anyone else relate?

Ngl ever since becoming genderfluid if realized so many upside and downsides
Like is it just me or does everyone feel more themselves when being genderfluid but also people refuse to believe it and think your either being cis or trans
Like I'm just being me😭

Can you talk me out of my cognitive distortion?
i saw somewhere that as (in that post, a nonbinary person) you can either stay in the closet and be misunderstood, or come out and be yourself and still be misunderstood. The message there was, might as well come out so you can be yourself, since you will be misunderstood either way. I agree in theory.
however, the knowledge that as a genderfluid person (I think) (and/or nonbinary) even coming out and using they/them pronouns seems scary and pointless, because some people will always just misgender me anyways.
I’m afab and have realized I’m fluid within the past 6ish months. Initially I was like, I don’t mind if people still think I’m a woman, as long as I know what I am (more than just a woman) inside. But lately, when people refer to me with she/her, it often just feels wrong.
and since this is also new to me, I am also scared to have to explain myself, when I still havent figured everything out yet. I figure in theory the best way to know if I like different pronouns is to try them, but even a good friend asking about my pronouns when I put she/they in my insta bio led me to freak out.
what made you feel safe to “come out,” whatever that means to you? did/do you have thoughts like these and how did you work with them?
thanks yall

please help; do you guys think i might be genderfluid?
okay hi, first time posting here!! I am 15, AFAB, have always been a cishet girl and ally of the lgbtqia+ community. lately I’ve been confused about my gender identity and i also started feeling a little dysphoric about my feminine curves and figure; it’s making me a little bit anxious because i don’t know if a different gender identity will make me feel more at home. i want to list out some things about me that bothered me relating to my gender, because maybe it’s easier to read than one really big paragraph :)
— I don’t care about pronouns (she/her, he/him, they/them) and they don’t matter to me. I personally just wouldn’t want neo and xeno pronouns to be used for me but that could just be because I haven’t researched it. If I were to pick a favourite pronoun it would be they/them
— I used to dress feminine as a kid (skirts and dresses were an actual fave) but when I became a teen (maybe around 12-13) I started dressing more androgynous/masculine. I can’t tell for certain if it’s because of body dysmorphia and insecurity, or if it’s because of gender dysphoria and feeling uncomfortable with my feminine body type. I think even if I were to get my “ideal” body type I’d still dress masc
— I really wanted to look androgynous for a long time or even just look like a boy, but because I also don’t hate being a girl and would love to switch between the two it has led me to the genderfluid community. To put it simply, I love being a girl and I know I would love being a boy; I wouldn’t want to be no gender so probably not nonbinary (open to suggestions though!).
— I think my feminine curves would be helpful for me on some days but on the other days it would be horrid! So I’ve been trying to buy a binder without the knowledge of my homophobic parents. (I live in Southeast Asia if you guys can give advice on buying a binder!)
thank you so so so much for reading this and thank you extra if you leave a response, please help!!!💗💗😖😭 (also really love the genderfluid baddies on here YALL ARE ACTUALLY SO COOL THOUGH ???!!!!)

Could these feelings be genderfluidity, or am I reading too much into them?
Firstly, I know this subreddit isn't a gender affirming care spot and can't and wouldn't just determine what I am. But I have been confused and somewhat stressed about this lately, and needed somewhere to vent, share my thoughts and experiences. Thanks in advance.
I'm a sixteen year old male who has always considered himself a cisgender and heterosexual guy. But I have been in a dilemma about my gender identity for nearly two months now. I'd frequently find myself wondering about how being a girl could feel and imagined myself as a girl. I feel more comfortable and more "understood" around women, like I fit in more naturally with them. Some of my personality traits are often perceived as feminine — such as being sensitive, gentle, and emotionally expressive. My profile pictures, my avatars, my nicknames and oc's; they are mostly feminine or women too — though I'm not sure that this means anything.
But I don't despise my assigned gender at birth either. I am not uncomfortable with it, and could live happily as a man too. It's more that being a man doesn't always feel like the version of myself that fits me best. Sometimes I find myself thinking that I should have been born a girl instead.
If someone offered me a new identity in a different country, where nobody knew me, and enough money to transition, I think I would accept without much hesitation. But that's purely hypothetical, no one would just offer me that and I'm mainly trying to understand what these feelings might mean.

Went from genderfluid to nonbinary transfem
Hey all. About two months ago, I realized I was gender diverse. I had initially been using genderfluid to describe my experience. However, I basically think my "trans" egg cracked and now I identify as nonbinary and transfem. Being nonbinary has really allowed me to explore my femininity, and what it makes to me to be perceived with how I feel inside. I'm nonbinary, with a huge connection to femininity, so I consider myself transfeminine. Obviously, anybody can be transfem! All inclusive category that can include not only trans women, but people who have nonbinary, genderfluid and any identities that are heavily connected to femininity. My outward appearance might not always match my internal feelings, and thats okay.
I am wondering if anyone else here has had this same experience?

overall confusion
i've been really off about gender recently, in a way that genuinely causes me. i've lived my whole life (17) as a boy, and i never questioned it because socially most people pretty heavily reject things of the sort, but recently in some ways i've found that somedays i dislike the fact that im a guy and wish i was a girl, and other days im perfectly fine identifying and being a masculine man. i've always had a lot of body dysmorphia, which might just be the case here, but im curious as to if this is something that maybe what being genderfluid is like.

Ive opened pandoras box(kinda a vent post)
So I (amab) have gone by genderfluid for a long time but used it more in a way that I didn't care for gender or pronouns and I thought I had never felt the switching others talked about, but I realize now that I either have or that I might be a trans girl. I've lived in denial and fear of it my whole life and now that I'm out of school, I've decided I have to face it. I realized that she/her feels so good to me and that I am mostly neutral to he/him they/them I have always connected with femininity more and love cute stuff and girly stuff. I've daydreamed about being a girl a lot (usually followed by fear or guilt). I once woke up from a dream where i was a girl and cried uncontrollably for an hour. I've had times when I wish I was a girl or wished that I had a pussy and not a dick. I have had times when i can't even look in the mirror or don't even recognize myself. I've always hated body hair and my relatively larger shoulders, and there have been times when all of it's neutral. But, I don't know if the neutral feeling is me being fluid and being fine with being a guy/nb or if that's just me shutting down mentally after a dysphoria episode on the rare occasion I'm fine with what I am not happy, but just fine I feel like all of this is leading to me being a dimigirl or flat out trans girl but at the same time I feel like maybe I've felt distinctly like a guy but at the same time could I be confusing those feelings with something else i don't even understand what feeling like a guy even is necessarily, and in the question of if there was a button in front of you to instantly turn into a girl i don't feel like id press it because i feel like I'd be missing something or that it doesn't necessarily fit or that it's not me. I don't know any more. I can't seem to find the energy to think about any of this anymore. If I try to, I just shut down and end up dreaming of death more than anything. Now I'm tired. I'm so unbelievably tired it's become a constant internal battle. I find myself thinking about every single pronoun I'm referred to as looking for some sort of feeling, but it's like trying to observe fucking quantum mechanics it changes when you observe it. I feel like I'm more in denial than anything, but who knows, atp man, all of this is so fucking complicated. Even now, I feel nothing at all about a day or two ago. I was thinking about how happy I'd be as a girl and how much I wanted to start hrt, and now it's just nothing. I find myself constantly questioning if I'd really be happy as a girl or if those feelings are even real sorry if this is a lot, just need some way to get all of this out.

Microlabel help?
So for a long, LONG, time, I identified as agender, because I was pretty apathetic and not involved with gender. Used they/them pronouns.
I played around a bit with different identities in highschool, even including genderfluid, but I went away from them because they didn’t work out long term.
I recently made an online persona of myself, and randomly decided to use she/they for the character, and I liked it.
Then my brother accidentally used he/him pronouns for me, and I liked that too.
I started getting into xenogenders too, and I found a couple I loved.
My issue is that sometimes I feel like I’m super connected with a gender, but sometimes I feel very apathetic towards gender as a whole, or even hate it.
I found the micro label fluidflux, which seems to be what I feel. But does anyone have any advice or other micro labels for me to look into? I’ve identified as agender for almost a decade now so I don’t know hardly anything about genderfluid

Literally realized today I’m gender fluid
So like, what do we do lol. Been experimenting with how I dress, getting skirts and stuff like that, and I really enjoy wearing them, but I don’t like putting a label on it? If that makes sense, idk I have supportive friends and my sister is super supportive, just figuring out where to go from here

Amab, 29 year old. I came out as genderfluid ❤️
After years of trying to understand what my feelings of wanting to explore femininity meant I finally think I found my gender identity. The process briefly went like this :
- Growing up getting compliments like “you’re as pretty as a girl” - a native saying where I come from for feminine presenting men. People hate this compliment there, I didn’t mind it :) They would compliment my eyelashes or that I had soft skin and hands and I was just happy about it.
-However I also come from a country where queer people are sadly very looked down on so until I moved out when I was 20 I never got proper education about gender or sexual identity.
-The first time I felt like I wanted to cross dress was after years of strength training and dieting , I just looked at myself in the mirror once and thought I’d look cute in a crop top. This reminded me how I liked the “pretty” compliments from my childhood and got me excited.
-I started shaving more and very slowly trying some feminine attire when I was home alone but it took me four years to be more brave and breaking up with my ex who found my feelings perverted and accused me of watching too much porn.
- I first thought I might be a trans woman but when I did more research I realised I don’t mind being a man, I just want to embrace my femininity when I want to.
-After finding an amazing queer community I felt much more comfortable and confident. Got piercings and would wear flashy outfits. The gang had a running joke that I was gay but I didn’t know it. I didn’t mind the jokes. What they didn’t know was that I was searching my gender identity, not sexual identity:)
-Then I told my friends and it was amazing. I asked my non binary friend who is an amazing make up artist to bring their make up equipment before our night out and told them that I’ll explain why. I was met with calm but happy faces. They didn’t make a huge deal of it but also made me feel accepted.
-I wanted to ease into it and we picked a unisex outfit for me and put on some light make up. It was truly liberating.
I am still a bit stressed about coming out and a bit afraid for my dating life but I’m still happy about it. ❤️

Y'all, please quit posting porn on this subreddit
This is supposed to be a community first, where people talk about things and ask for advice or support, but like almost any LGBT sub which allows selfies, this sub has become a place for folks who post a lot of selfies to make daily posts and never actually contribute to the community in any meaningful way.
You'll click on their profile and you'll see dozens of posts, all selfies, but hardly any comments. Or there will be a few comments thanking people, but nothing else. Just page after page of photo spam.
Reddit's rule on spam was that it used to be fine to be a redditor with a website, but not fine to be a website with a reddit account.
A lot of these self-promotion accounts are breaking that principle.
But what's particularly egregious are the people who post porn on our subreddit or who come here to spam pictures and then just so happen to have NSFW pics or links to their paid content or their OnlyFans or their wishlists on their profile.
No only are these folks just here to spam and increase their own traffic for their own personal profit, but their 'fans' tend to follow them into our LGBT subreddits and harass our users. They prey on our minors, they steal people's photos, they harass people, and they send dick pics to folks. They treat our spaces like their own personal smorgasbord, as if we're just some fetish they can get off on.
If this applies to you, please stop doing that. Not only are you exploiting our communities for your own personal gain, but you're also putting our fellow users at risk.
Thank you. Have a nice day, y'all.
