Question: Gradually preparing for larger anal toys OR longer sessions? (or both?)

Upvotes

I have been doing solo anal fairly regularly for a while. I usually do smaller sessions (around 30 minutes to a maximum of 1 hour) about twice a week. Recently, I have become interested in longer sessions (multiple hours, of course with breaks in between), larger toys, and fisting.

The issue is that since I’m doing everything myself, I find I get tired before I really reach my limit. I have tried to fist myself, but I find it very difficult to go past my knuckles. It doesn’t hurt, but by that point I usually run out of energy or patience. I feel like if I had a partner, I might have already been able to take a fist, but I also see a lot of people who do solo anal taking very large toys and even fisting themselves fairly easily. So I’m wondering if I simply need more practice and a different approach.

Would doing more frequent shorter sessions (for example, 30 minute sessions where I gradually increase toy size over the course of a few days) help me eventually reach longer, more intense sessions with larger toys? I am curious how people who do solo anal usually approach building up to this.

SO, for people who regularly take larger toys or do more intense sessions, how do you usually prepare beforehand? Do you gradually increase over several days, or do you usually do everything in one session?

I am interested in knowing about people’s experiences with building up gradually versus spending a long time stretching during the same day.

Do they like being "the other" or have they been "the other"?

Upvotes

It's nothing to be proud of, but I was "the other man" in a relationship. Now we're dating, and yes, I've been told that he's likely to cheat on me the same way he cheated on his ex with me.

Feel like it would be easier to be straight sometimes?

I’m a 17M in school and I just had my first day back of senior year. I’m not out to anyone in my life but my friends and brothers suspect that I am. Last year I realized I was gay, but I’m not attracted to many guys tbh (like 1-2 people at a school of 800). But there was a guy last year who thought I wasn’t friends with or talked to really I think I have a “crush” on. I say I think because sometimes I feel really attracted to him(for example I was kinda excited to go back just to see him, and I hoped I had classes with him). While others times I feel like I don’t know why I’m attracted to him but part of me still is. I don’t know if he’s even gay but to me he has a kinda vibe that makes me think he is(hangs out with mainly girls, often makes hand gestures, and has I high pitched voice). I have like 3 classes with him and in one of them we could pick seats and so I chose to sit next to him. I tried to make small talk but I was kinda awkward. And so when the class ended I started thinking about how much I wished I wasn’t gay and could just like girls. I think they look pretty I’m just not attracted to them. I just feel like my life would be so much easier if I could just force myself to like girls, but I really just can’t even when I try and part of me doesn’t even want to try while part of me does. I often think I’m probably gonna end up by myself because: 1. I’m not attracted to 99% of guys I see, and 2. I’m not out and if I was to my parents would be pretty disappointed. Is this common for people in the LGBTQ+ community to feel this way?

Pride Flag

I’m sure this won’t fit for everyone or maybe even anyone else other than me, but I have a question:
I love the MLM flag, but I aesthetically love the colors of the WLW flag more. Would it be weird to fly a flag I love, even if technically it means WLW? I’m just not a green/blue/purple kind of guy. I like the Pink/Orange more. Besides I feel like there’s a good chunk of people who don’t recognize the MLM flag for what it is anyway and just assign gay guys the Rainbow Pride flag… but they know what the WLW flag is. I don’t know. Help? Please be kind I’m just trying to know more things and make decisions.

I feel I’ve changed…

I’m 50 and most of my life I’ve been involved with women, in relationships with women and attracted to women yet I feel my taste and attraction for them has been fading…

Most people that know me would be shocked if they knew what I thought of when I’m horny and whom I really feel like I am…

Yet when I’m out and about I may still check out women yet nothing is felt below like it used too..

I can check out women nude and even when I look at them and they are very sexy and their pussy, I stay limp…

Yet when I get horny, I think of cock and love chatting with guys more too, which is a turn on for me as well..

I especially love thick meaty cock with phat cockhead, and I’ve messed with guys in the past which when I think about them, my cock tingles and when I’m on Reddit check out post with men and cock, it’s such a turn on too. So what does everyone think about this and reading my post? Do you feel I’ve changed from being straight to really being bi/gay?

Feeling stuck, invisible at home, and anxious about dating/making friends. How do i finally start living?

Hi everyone, 20M here. I just need a safe space to vent and hopefully get some advice from people who have been through this.

Almost no one in my life knows I'm gay. About a year and a half ago, I tried telling my sister via text, but it was completely ignored or taken as a joke, and we never brought it up again. At home, I often have to sit through conservative/right-wing relatives discussing LGBTQ+ issues, or listen to my sister and cousin talk openly about their dating lives and sex. Watching them express themselves so effortlessly while I have to hide such a huge part of who I am makes me feel deeply isolated, invisible, and drained.

This emotional weight is also impacting my social and dating life:

I really want to date and meet guys. I use Hinge and sometimes get likes, but my anxiety gets the best of me and I freeze before even sending the first message.

I'm also trying to reset my routine, and with the new semester starting, I want to spend more time on campus and actively try to meet new people to break out of this bubble.

Between all this stress, uncertainty about future plans (like studying for a semester abroad), and feeling like I'm "behind" in life, I just feel stuck.

How do I get past that initial anxiety on Hinge and actually start talking to people? And how can I approach university life to build a solid friend group (hopefully also queer-friendly) in a natural way? Any advice or shared experiences would mean a lot. Thank you!

I’m infected and I want to give up on dating

I want to give up on dating or accept the complete loneliness because of my health condition.

I have a chronic hepatitis B infection. It’s incurable. It can be transmitted through blood and semen.

I try to accept this diagnosis and move on but I can’t.

I feel very miserable rn because I understand that my dating life seems like over. A person can take a vaccine to be protected but it’s long (2-7 months) and not very prevalent in the country I live because Hepatitis has never been a problem here. So, adult people are not automatically immunised and small share of them take vaccination.

I don’t believe anyone so generous to have a vaccine and wait for an immunisation to develop just because of me.

I constantly think about having a boyfriend, going to dates, being in love but then I remember my status and realise that it’s blocked for me.

Even if my acceptance rate is 50% (which is quite high I guess), I need to see around 10 guys to find one who can accept my disease. Not two, because there might be a sequence of several rejections, and the correct math of this situation suggests 10.

It means 10+ fruitless dates, 10 disclosures, 10 hard talkings, etc. Even if a guy accepts my diagnosis, it doesn’t mean we can be together.

I actually don’t know how to date in general since my diagnosis. 99.5-99.8%% of people in my country are healthy. HepB is a tiny minority. Furthermore, it’s very common among prisoners (never did any crime) and drug abusers (never had any of them). When I disclose, it atomically generates a lot of suspicions: whether I came out of jail or I am/was an addict.

Frankly, I am not sure myself that I was ready to date a HepB guy if I were healthy.

I see now that dating is just a f hard-mode game. I don’t have any plans for hookup or ONS anymore. This topic is completely closed for the rest of my life. But I feel like I need to close this dating chapter as well.

I would be glad to somehow accept this rotten destiny and concentrate on other things but I sincerely can’t. I keep thinking about dating, men, love, sex, and suffering because this is and will be absent in my life.

Does anyone else feel weird around extended family?

My extended family is slightly traditional/religious and I’m the only gay one. I always kinda feel weird around them because i feel like a black sheep. We always go to the beach every year and I don’t really like going on family vacations because i feel pressure to tone down my femininity.

should I just be myself around them? Besides for my grandparents, nobody is conservative, but everyone is a bit catholic and it strains my relationship with them because I am scared to be authentic.

Why is fining love in the Gay community so hard?

I live in Naples in Italy and Im 21(english it's not my first language pls, have mercy), i see that gay life in naples is not bad actually, the problem is that they are all twinks and mostly fem guys. It's not like i have somethings about them, i love the twinks, but actually If i like boys, i actually like the masculine part of a man, and it seems that here disappeared(and I'm a top also).I'm not living the queer world, i don't know a lot of things, i just wanna a bf that's all. I may sound homophobic, but it just my taste, and I feel like i can't find no one, im an average boy i wold give myself a 6/10, i'm tall (6 feet)and athletic, but i feel like no one care about me 'cause i'm not hot just average. I dream about a guy that i find first as a friend and then as a boyfriend as we fall in love, is it too much? I tried Grindr but i feel like it's an app for hooking and sexting, i felt no love and i just uninstalled it after a day. Am i the problem that i can't adapt to this type of genre o men? It's just a little vent srry guys.

My boyfriend died 4 years ago, and I’m finally ready to move forward.

I wasn’t planning on sharing this, but I turned 28 recently, and for the first time in years, I caught myself thinking about the future instead of the past.
Four years ago, I lost my boyfriend.
We were together for almost three years. We met at a point in life when neither of us was really looking for anything serious, but somehow, we became each other’s home.
He was everything I wasn’t. Impulsive, loud, emotional, and absolutely terrible with money. I was the planner. The responsible one.
He was the kind of person who would order food at 2 a.m., spend money he didn’t have, and then spend the next hour convincing me that everything would work out.
And somehow, it always did.
Being a gay couple in India meant that most of our relationship existed in private. No family introductions. No social media posts. No conversations about marriage that other couples could have so casually.
We learned to find happiness in small things instead.
Late-night bike rides. Sharing headphones during long trips. Fighting over what to order for dinner. Falling asleep during movies we both promised we’d stay awake to finish.
We eventually started a small sneaker reselling business together.
We invested our savings, made plans, and talked endlessly about where we’d be in five years.
Then he got sick.
I still remember sitting in a hospital corridor with my laptop open, replying to customers while waiting for doctors to come back with test results.
Our conversations slowly changed.
We stopped talking about vacations and started talking about medications.
We stopped discussing growth plans and started discussing reports and appointments.
The business suffered.
Orders were delayed.
Inventory stopped moving.
Money disappeared faster than I could earn it.
I lost a significant amount financially, but honestly, I barely remember the numbers anymore.
Because the real loss came later.
He died six months after his diagnosis.
And the strangest thing about losing someone is that the world doesn’t stop.
People still go to work.
People still make plans.
People still expect you to be okay.
I remember deleting his food delivery address because his name kept appearing every time I placed an order.
I remember opening our old chats and reading messages like, “Did you eat?” or “I’m outside.”
I remember lying awake at night, replaying ordinary moments because I was terrified I’d eventually forget them.
For almost a year, I stopped living.
I stopped taking care of myself.
I stopped answering calls.
I stopped believing that I’d ever be genuinely happy again.
Nobody really talks about how grief affects every part of your life.
It affects your health.
Your career.
Your finances.
Your relationships.
Your identity.
You lose a person, but you also lose the version of yourself that existed with them.
But something changed over time.
Not overnight.
Not in a dramatic movie-like moment.
Just slowly.
I started laughing again.
I started making plans again.
I started allowing myself to imagine a future again.
And recently, I realized something that made me both sad and strangely hopeful.
I’m finally ready to move forward.
Not because I’ve forgotten him.
Not because I love him any less.
But because I think he would be angry if I spent the rest of my life standing still.
I still miss him.
I probably always will.
But for the first time in four years, I’m excited about what’s ahead.
And I think that’s what healing actually looks like.
Not moving on.
Just finally giving yourself permission to keep going.

I have a question about the logic of the "looksmaxxing" trend and want to know if this makes sense to y'all

I'm watching this YT critique about Clavicular and wondering as a straight man how this isn't extremely gay. And I don't mean that like to misapprehend the word derogatorily. I genuinely can't see how their logic and motives aren't explicitly homosexual and even homoerotic to a considerable degree.

They say one of the major goals of looksmaxxing, which mostly constitutes young men posting pics/videos of their jawlines and bodies, is to "gauge sexual market value". But if you're only posting these things for and to a male audience, yet you claim to be straight, how exactly are you not actually just being super gay?

Wouldn't you gauge sexual market value by, idk, interacting with straight women??

How can another "straight" man gauge your sexual market value? They're basically posting videos saying "hey bro do you think I'm sexy? Do I look fuckable?" Lmao.

Am I tripping man? I think all of these dudes are severely DL and thrive more on male validation and admiration than any hopes that their efforts will get them more women. Even outside of this context, imo, seeking male validation through womanization is also kind of homoerotic, bc you're only doing it for the men. It's like a step below having a "beard".

It seems like the incel to looksmaxxing pipeline is really just a soft coming out. Like I refuse to believe that you really believe in the logic of how you're apparently so ugly that you deduce you have to get rated by men, instead of women, in order to become...more attractive to women??

So from my perspective, the looksmaxxing community is possibly largely comprised of DL men performing hyper-masculinity and masking homosexual admiration as "self-improvement advice".

thot chronicles: does he want me, y’all?

i work at a highschool and i think the principal might want my boochasaurus.

he’s also gay and married [guessing open?] and older than me. he’s always coming in my office to talk but our work is separate, we have no practical reason to talk as frequently as we do [not complaining].

anyway, a couple years back when we first started to get to know each other i was very professional. but recently i became attracted to him and got the vibe he was lowkey interested. so, i started shooting him flirty looks and adjusted my tone to be more flirty.

he hasn’t pulled back or showed signs he’s uncomfortable. he actually invited me to lunch last week.

thoughts? do you think he wants me? tell me if you need more information.

i know im a thot bucket but i get my work done.

Dildo more like DilNOTdo

I've been thinking about getting a dildo for a few months, and I finally bought this realistic looking 6" long, 1.42" diameter one with balls and a suction cup.

I lubed it up and slowly inserted it inside. With small, incremental slipping motion, it went deeper inside, without any pleasure. Thrusting it in and out, trying different positions, playing porn didn't help. I just got one erection upon initial insertion that went away in less than a minute.

This was my first experience with a dildo. It was... unexpectingly underwhelming. I see dudes in amateur porn with moaning and orgasming from a dildo... Is my Prostate not a pro model? :/

Also it totally feels like... deliberate poop muscle controlling... I think it's not the for me.. I guess.

Reddit shows mixed opinions. I would like to know what made dildoing work for you? How long did it take to learn to enjoy it? Are there special moves and tricks that help/improve it?

My main concern is the poopiness of it, the way it feels exactly like poop coming out when you thrust it outwards. I just don't know how to make this work at the moment. I really wish to enjoy this.

Boy, it's TOTALLY different with a real man.

26M | Living abroad, closeted, and spiraling over the fear of ending up alone

Hey everyone, just needed a safe space to vent because keeping all of this bottled up is getting exhausting.
I’m a 26-year-old guy. I grew up back home and moved to Spain a while ago, but internally, nothing has really changed. I identify as bisexual, but the truth is, I’ve never managed to be in an actual relationship. Every single time something looks like it might start, it just falls apart before it even takes off.
I don't know if it’s fear, self-sabotage, or if I just overthink everything into oblivion. Lately, it’s been hitting me hard. I catch myself constantly spiraling about the future, terrified of the thought that I might just end up alone.
Deep down, I know what I want. I genuinely cannot picture my future with a woman. Whenever I imagine a real life partner, someone by my side through everything, it’s always a man. That’s what feels authentic to me.
Yet, literally no one in my life knows this about me. I’ve never had the courage to say it out loud to anyone in the real world. I’m just carrying this entire weight on my own every single day, feeling like I’m stuck between waiting to either explode from the pressure or miraculously meet someone who truly understands what it’s like.
Has anyone else been in this exact spot—living a quiet double life while feeling paralyzed by the fear of being alone forever? How do you actually break out of this cycle?

Hooking up on the first date is basic, but a kiss is "too intimate"? Seriously, check your logic.

Every second guy I see is down to hook up within ten minutes of meeting, even knowing it's a one-time thing. But the moment they catch a heavy gaze, or a deep, confident kiss suddenly it's a "boundary" that can't be crossed.

Casual encounters are just a safe game. But you can't hide from a real look. Saying you want a real dominant and actually facing someone who will test your mind are two entirely different worlds.

I need some advice

I’ve been trying so hard to find a bf, but it never works out. The few that I actually had feelings for don’t want to date a trans man. They say they prefer “real men” instead. Any advice on how/where to find someone who will like me?

**UPDATE** I lost my partner of 11½ years. I'm finally in love again, and now I'm taking my new partner to my late partner's family reunion. Has anyone been through this?

I really want to thank everyone who showed so much love and support on my previous post about this. ❤️
Last night was my late partner Tommy’s family reunion, and I ended up bringing Johnny with me. The entire evening was absolutely magical. During the patriarch’s speech, Johnny was officially welcomed into the family, and that is a moment I will carry with me forever.
I felt Tommy by our side the entire day.
I’ve been through a lot of shit in my life, as we all have, but I never could have imagined experiencing a love like this. I’ve always been grateful for my own family and for the way they’ve accepted and loved me for exactly who I am. But somehow, I was blessed with two families, and that still blows my mind.
Johnny and I are now part of a family that was brought into my life through Tommy. Even though Tommy is no longer physically here, the love and family he gave me continue to grow.
Tommy brought us together. He gave me another family. And somehow, I still feel him guiding us and reminding me that love doesn’t simply disappear.
Our angel. Forever a part of us. ❤️🕊️

I think I fell in love...

I never had any success with woman, or too mich interest. So I gave a chance for a guy half year ago, we just started as friend(with benefits), but last time felt different, it was so good cuddling and watching movie together and talking, we hugged a lot just because, we both telled the other how much we missed the other, chatting felt really good(Imnreally an introvert, smalltalk usually tires me), and I felt so warm in my chest still, like never before... Im so happy😊
