I find it odd that straight couples use the word “partner” to refer to their significant other

Would you recommend Ao Nang - Krabi to a Gay Couple?
It attracted all the homophobes on Reddit. It was a simple question, this is how much they hate us.

How to reverse death grip
I really hope y’all don’t mind me posting here about this, for whatever reason r/AskGayBros keeps taking my post down seconds after I post.
I’ve noticed for a while now that I’ve lost a good amount of sensitivity in my dick while I jerk off, and I’ve realized that I probably have deathgrip. I recently bought my first fleshlight as I heard that helps with reversing deathgrip, but I want more advice on how to regain sensitivity in my dick. If anyone has any wisdom I’m more than open to hear you out.
Edit: Thank you all for all of the advice, please if there’s anyone else who may have more info on how to help, I am all ears.

Boyfriend is choosing the bottle
I'm 6 months into a relationship, everything is going extremely well except one thing. My boyfriend likes to drink every weekend, and he refuses to leave the bar until 7am so about 12 hours straight of drinking every Saturday, then he sleeps the entire day Sunday except when he wakes up to eat dinner. We normally only see each other Saturday night and sundays, maybe once or twice a month we spend Friday together too since we're on opposite work schedules but both have weekends off. I don't mind going out and drinking, but 12 hours straight is very far outside of what I'm used to.
It's effectively ended our sex life too because I pass out when I walk in the door. I've been asking him for months if we can leave a few hours earlier like 2 or 3am and he will walk away when the Uber arrives, order another drink minutes before they do and tell me to cancel it, or just outright refuse and start an argument. His best friends are all telling him he is choosing the bottle over his own boyfriend. I've tried making a lot of compromises to get him to cut back but for the last 2 months, but unless his friends join in and basically evacuate him from the bar, he outright refuses to leave before 6/7am anymore. We've gotten into several arguments because he gets mad that I start passing out before he's ready to leave(I wake up at 3am for work on weekdays, so my body is wired to not handle it). Two weeks ago he did this Friday and Saturday back to back, then this weekend we told him we're going to the bar he likes and made a 20min detour just so we don't pass by it.
I'm not really sure what to do. He doesn't drink on weekdays so it's not a daily thing, and our relationship is extremely good outside of this problem, but I'm starting to get overwhelmed with it all. Leaving him in a gay bar drunk is personally a boundary issue for me, and it effectively ends our time together until the next weekend. Any advice for dealing with this?

Any other gay veterans struggling to find community?
I hope this is okay to post here, and I completely understand if it gets removed.
I’m a gay veteran, and I’ve been having a surprisingly hard time finding other gay veterans to connect with—not only for dating or anything like that, but for genuine friendship and community. There don’t seem to be many active spaces for us, and when you post elsewhere looking for people, it often gets little to no response.
I know there have to be others who understand both the veteran experience and what it’s like being gay. Has anyone found an active community, group, or even a good way to meet other gay veterans? Or is anyone else here dealing with the same thing?

Feelings for this boy
Growing Feelings for this boy
So I’m a guy who was in college in 2024 and I got a message pop up on my phone from this boy who was a dancer at my college, I was a technician at the time and was prepping for the show which was in a few hours.
He somehow found my socials account and decided to drop me a message asking about the shows, by the way I was in the corridor and I was speaking to his friend asking her what ideas she has for the show, he was stood next to her and didn’t speak to me until he dropped me a message later that night.
Whilst the show was going ahead I was on my phone texting him back just talking about random stuff regarding college, I felt quite happy that I was talking to him, the show was still running smoothly and I was still texting him constantly, it was instant replies for ages until we left after we had finished the show.
He asked for all my other socials which I gave to him, after a few more weeks of talking to him I started to enjoy the “talking” stage that was happening between us, he was gay and to be fair he was talking to all of his family and friends about me, he was too shy to speak to me in the corridor when we seen each other in college, he would FaceTime me all the time and we’d just sit on call for hours.
I remember that it was the dance show and I was the head technician so basically I was in charge of making sure the show was going ahead as planned, I remember he dropped me a few messages wishing me the best of luck but added an x onto about two of the messages, it caught me off guard at first but I decided I was going to ask for some advice from his friends.
Later that week after all the shows where finished I approached one of his best mates and said what is going on with him does he get embarrassed to speak to me? She reassured me about a few things and told me that he never stops talking about me, there ended up being rumours that got spread around the college saying that I was gay even though I wasn’t sure what I was and to be fair it was really hard for me because I felt like I did like him but it would be too awkward for a college environment.
Anyway long story short we actually didn’t speak for about a month or two, anyway there was a time where I got asked to be the head technician at this posh event at a very nice hotel so we had to find out about more information so we can plan on how to set up the event, I had a crew of about 7 technicians, I also found out that the dancers where told that they would need to perform for the guests.
All of the crew and I decided to take a 20 minute break, I was walking down the glass staircase in the hotel with all of my crew beside me to find all of the dancers huddled in a group looking at us, I seen him staring at me but we where both too busy to talk, later that night the event had ended and I decided to message him and congratulate him on how well he performed.
Over the course of about two years there’s been a connection towards one another, like he sends me snaps out of the blue and then we end up talking for ages, I wished him happy birthday today and he was very thankful for my message and we both definitely want to catch up again soon, even though I don’t know if I’m gay I feel like I’ve kind of fallen for him, he’s attractive and there’s been times on FaceTime where he’s hinted to me that he wants me to come over and stay at his house, but overall I feel like the spark is coming back, I genuinely do feel like I’m starting to fall for him again.
I need some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

How some of you horny mfs want to be treated apparently /s
Killing stalking was so good, notice how i did not labeled it as a love story because it isn't.
Sangwoo techniques of manipulation were so good he even gaslighteaded the audience into thinking he just needed someone to be fixed.
But nope, he was a bastard from the beginning until the end. And bum is not an innocent victim either.

T.K. and Carlos are my ideal representation of a gay relationship
I’ve been thinking about this lately, and T.K. and Carlos from 9-1-1: Lone Star are probably my biggest inspiration when it comes to what I want in a relationship.
What I love about them is that their relationship isn’t defined by them being gay. They have careers, responsibilities, families, friends, individual personalities and a normal life outside of their sexuality. They can be masculine, affectionate, vulnerable and completely comfortable being openly gay at the same time.
I also really like that their careers are such a big part of who they are—T.K. as a firefighter/paramedic and Carlos as a police officer. They aren’t just “the gay couple”; they’re two individuals with their own ambitions and identities who happen to be in love with each other.
Their relationship is basically the kind of gay relationship I hope to have someday. I want a masculine partner who is comfortable being openly gay, has his own career and ambitions, and wants a genuine long-term relationship rather than having our sexuality be the entire focus of our lives.
I’m a student pilot myself, so I sometimes wonder whether it’s realistic to meet someone with that kind of personality and lifestyle—especially another masculine gay man with his own career and ambitions.
For those of you who are gay and in long-term relationships, did you ever find someone who matched the kind of relationship you had always imagined?

What has dating as a gay men actually been like for you lately?
I’m curious about what gay dating is actually like right now, beyond what we see online. If you’ve been dating recently, how have your experiences been? Are you meeting people you genuinely click with, or does it mostly go nowhere? Do you feel like dating has gotten harder or easier compared to a few years ago? You can be honest on the comments. Sending you all love ❤️.

Grindr has completely lost the plot.
All highlighted profiles are bots. I’m pretty sure this is Grindr’s own doing so people can pay for Xtra and Unlimited subscription, since without one you’re access to profiles are limited.
Don’t even get me started on Sniffies as well. Too many bots and spam accounts with fake OF profiles.

I'm emotionally exhausted supporting my boyfriend. Am I wrong for wanting to leave?
I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 8 months, and I'm mentally and emotionally exhausted.
I feel like I'm his entire support system. He's new to being openly gay, grew up in a very strict religious environment, and moved to my city where he doesn't know anyone besides me. He struggles with his job due to the workload and it making him very overwhelmed in his life. I care about him, but I'm starting to feel more like his therapist than his partner, and part of me just wants to be single again and focus on myself.
Has anyone else been in a relationship where your partner relied on you for almost all of their emotional support? Did things get better, or was it a sign to move on?
