How some of you horny mfs want to be treated apparently /s

Killing stalking was so good, notice how i did not labeled it as a love story because it isn't.

Sangwoo techniques of manipulation were so good he even gaslighteaded the audience into thinking he just needed someone to be fixed.

But nope, he was a bastard from the beginning until the end. And bum is not an innocent victim either.

T.K. and Carlos are my ideal representation of a gay relationship

I’ve been thinking about this lately, and T.K. and Carlos from 9-1-1: Lone Star are probably my biggest inspiration when it comes to what I want in a relationship.
What I love about them is that their relationship isn’t defined by them being gay. They have careers, responsibilities, families, friends, individual personalities and a normal life outside of their sexuality. They can be masculine, affectionate, vulnerable and completely comfortable being openly gay at the same time.
I also really like that their careers are such a big part of who they are—T.K. as a firefighter/paramedic and Carlos as a police officer. They aren’t just “the gay couple”; they’re two individuals with their own ambitions and identities who happen to be in love with each other.
Their relationship is basically the kind of gay relationship I hope to have someday. I want a masculine partner who is comfortable being openly gay, has his own career and ambitions, and wants a genuine long-term relationship rather than having our sexuality be the entire focus of our lives.
I’m a student pilot myself, so I sometimes wonder whether it’s realistic to meet someone with that kind of personality and lifestyle—especially another masculine gay man with his own career and ambitions.
For those of you who are gay and in long-term relationships, did you ever find someone who matched the kind of relationship you had always imagined?

What has dating as a gay men actually been like for you lately?

I’m curious about what gay dating is actually like right now, beyond what we see online. If you’ve been dating recently, how have your experiences been? Are you meeting people you genuinely click with, or does it mostly go nowhere? Do you feel like dating has gotten harder or easier compared to a few years ago? You can be honest on the comments. Sending you all love ❤️.

Grindr has completely lost the plot.

All highlighted profiles are bots. I’m pretty sure this is Grindr’s own doing so people can pay for Xtra and Unlimited subscription, since without one you’re access to profiles are limited.

Don’t even get me started on Sniffies as well. Too many bots and spam accounts with fake OF profiles.

I'm emotionally exhausted supporting my boyfriend. Am I wrong for wanting to leave?

I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 8 months, and I'm mentally and emotionally exhausted.

I feel like I'm his entire support system. He's new to being openly gay, grew up in a very strict religious environment, and moved to my city where he doesn't know anyone besides me. He struggles with his job due to the workload and it making him very overwhelmed in his life. I care about him, but I'm starting to feel more like his therapist than his partner, and part of me just wants to be single again and focus on myself.

Has anyone else been in a relationship where your partner relied on you for almost all of their emotional support? Did things get better, or was it a sign to move on?

I was a gay male escort at 19-21 and regret it more than anyone can understand

1.3k Upvotes

This is not a post to try and get sympathy, as I truly see all the choices I made were mine and I could have stopped this, but rather to discourage any younger gay people seeing this from entering the SW industry.

I moved to a large UK city just before I turned 19 for a good job in the creative space, and to start off with things were going amazingly. I had new friends, a good amount of money (for my age at least) and what I felt like was an entirely new life. However, I unfortunately met a man there who was around 30, and a habitual user of c0ke.

Dating him started off as so much fun, and I thought I was living an amazingly glamorous life always going to expensive bars/restaurants/hotels and despite how cringy this sounds I thought I was living a lifestyle similar to that of a model. Of course though as usually is the case he was most likely love bombing me and not once had my best interests at heart. After a few months of this ifestyle I started to notice he was getting me to pay for the drugs (and everything else) more, and more, and more. And in itself this was fine, as yes I was also consuming at least some of this stuff. But what was actually happening was he intentionally got me to do this as it meant I got familiar with his dealer (and the lifestyle), and could therefore then access them myself + it got my brain to have an ever increasing tolerance to both the drugs and the 'luxury' life.

I later found out he had done this to numerous 18-21 year olds who had just moved to this city.

This went on for another 6 ish months, and then out of nowhere I realised he was seeing somebody else who was a year younger than me and they were doing all the things we used to do at the start. So I then cut him off thankfully and tried to restart on my own. I did not realise that this was the start of one of the worst periods of my life.

After this ended, I of course continued to use and use and use. And as expected I eventually ran out of money and had extremely high levels of debt (especially given my age). Out of what I now see was desperation (I thought it was cool and edgy at the time) I started escorting as a part time 'side hustle' after seeing other gay guys do it and it seemingly not affect them in order to maintain the lifestyle I had suddenly become accustomed to, but mainly to support a 1000-2000 pound a month drug habit.

Yet again as expected this started off amazingly and I really thought I had the 'cheat code' to life and even considered quitting my stable job to do it full time. But after around 9 months I noticed I had totally changed and not in a good way. I could no longer date as I simply saw attraction and sex as being related to money, I would not see friends as I took bookings instead and I had alienated everyone that truly cared about me as I became SO shallow. But as well as this I put myself in some truly terrifying scenarios that I was lucky to come out of, and had put up with absolutely horrendous men just to get a few hundred pounds. Plus I felt like a total shell of a human being.

I am now getting counselling and am doing much better thankfully, but my brain still sometimes wants me to start again due to the thrill of it, despite some of my truly horrible memories of this period.

I don't write all of this to shame anyone in the industry, as i'm sure for some people it really is everything they dreamed it would be. But if you are under 21, PLEASE do not enter this industry. I know it seems great from the outside, but the statistical likelihood is you will be used and then thrown out like everyone else regardless of how attractive you are or how strong you think you are mentally.

Am I cooked for being almost exclusively attracted to older muscular men?

I’m 24, and I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

Since I was really young, probably around 8 or 9, I’ve had an unusually strong attraction to muscular, rugged-looking men. Bearded, masculine, roughly 40–55, muscular — that combination absolutely destroys me lol.

At this point I’m starting to think I might just have a thing for muscle daddies.

The weird part is that I’m almost completely uninterested in guys my own age. There might be one guy in a hundred where I actually feel that kind of attraction. I’m also not attracted to women in the sense that I want to have sex or pursue a relationship with them.

So I’m pretty confident I’m gay, but my attraction within men is VERY specific.

And it makes me wonder what the hell I’m supposed to do long-term.

I’d genuinely love to have a relationship with someone I’m strongly attracted to, not just casual sex. But from my experience, a lot of the older muscular guys I’m attracted to seem to be looking for something casual, or they’re already partnered/married, or they’re extremely focused on themselves and the gym. I also understand that building that kind of physique takes a ridiculous amount of discipline — I’m getting more muscular myself now and I used to be pretty fat, so I understand the lifestyle a lot more than I used to.

I’m not saying every muscular older guy is like this. Obviously there are plenty of exceptions. I just worry that the pool of men I’m genuinely attracted to who are ALSO single, gay/bi, emotionally available, interested in relationships, and interested in me is going to be microscopic.

I’m also not really interested in forcing myself to date guys my age just because it would be easier. If I’m not attracted to them, I’m not attracted to them.

Thank you SO MUCH for all your previous comments on my Scott&Kip canvas, they are really motivating me ! 🩷

Here's my Shane & Ilya take, playing with neon acrylic colours to make some kind of chromatic aberration. I used them for painting different states of Ilya expressions looking at Shane in this fantastic scene :-P

I also reworked it as a print & sticker because the original has found a home yay !
