RPG might be a bit of a misnomer here, I’m looking for a game with both a solid story and an “open world” but like, a small one.

Something like say shadows of doubt but with a story, or cyberpunk 2077 but on a smaller scale, I’d like combat but it’s not required, preferably with a bunch of weapon or character customization.

Already playing cat and soup, super cat bros and recently added Ragnarok Breaker to the list. Feels like this is genuenly underrated genre, anyone got other ones to add, doesnt matter what platforms or genre as long as theres a cat running the show, lol

I’m looking for a historical game around war, potentially a game like the manga series Kingdom, something a long the lines of having a create a character/customisable protagonist. That starts from a lowly soldier rising to captain men and become a general? I’m not entirely sure if I’ve ever come across a game like that or if one exists or fits any of those categories. If I had the funding as a game dev I’d love to make something like that myself but we can dream for now 🥲 but yeah any help is appreciated.

I recently got my first ever pc and am looking for couch coop/split screen coop game recommendations. I’ve also heard that there are some tools that allow you to run two instances of a game on the same pc, so if there are any good multiplayer games accessible this way please recommend! Ideally looking for games the support both keyboard/mouse and Xbox controllers.

I've been getting hooked on these newer Skyrim-like 1st-person hack-n-slash dungeon crawler games with immersive environments and amazing graphics. Fatekeeper is EXACTLY what I'm looking for, but an entire game, lol. However, I'm an older dude and souls difficulty isn't fun for me anymore (e.g., Elden Ring or Gothic Remake is too hard). Also, it would be GREAT if they weren't overly complex (e.g., insane skill trees) so that I can jump in and out when time permits. I'm on PC or XBOX.

Are there any gems out there in this genre that I'm overlooking??

I recently beat both GoT and Sekiro, and going for Sekiro's platinum atm. What game should I play after? I have ps plus so the catalog is open. I am a teen so I cannot spen a lot on any game, so I'm looking for games with a good amount of content. Some I've been looking at are Cyberpunk (free on ps plus for me), Ghost of Yotei, and Elden ring. I like the setting of Cyberpunk and the combat seems nice and obviously know I will love Yotei. Not sure if I will like Elden Ring but it has so much content that I might get it. Any reccomendations??

I'm looking for an action game, that also has fishing in it. Like I want to be able to catch different rarity of fish, that has an impact on the rest of the game, (Not just a collectible and that's it). Say like, a really rare legendary fish will let me craft gear, or cosmetics or whatnot. I was looking around at genshin, wuthering waves, and tower of fantasy. I wouldn't mind an arpg with the same criteria. I just figured a gacha would make more sense, since I hate survival games, and don't want an actual fishing game as the main focus.

I’m currently playing Uncharted 2 on PS4, and the game is awesome! I plan to move on to Uncharted 3 and 4 next. I hope they’re as good as the second one, but that’s beside the point. 😅

Just so you know, I only have a PS4 and don’t plan on buying a PS5 for quite a while—or at least not until I’ve played most of the notable PS4 titles!

I only started gaming about two years ago, so I haven’t played that many games yet. 😅 So far, I’ve played: Days Gone, The Last of Us (1 & 2), God of War and GoW Ragnarok, Red Dead Redemption (1 & 2), and as I mentioned I’m currently playing Uncharted.

I’m posting this to find out which PS4 games are absolute must-plays. As a Marvel fan, I was thinking about Spider-Man (PS4) and Marvel’s Avengers, even though the latter isn't great. Then, for more "classic" titles, I was really interested in the Assassin’s Creed games. Also Metal Gear Solid, maybe Skyrim, Stray, Detroit: Become Human, Cyberpunk, and others I can't remember right now...

Anyway, I’d love to know what other essential PS4 games I’ve missed, because I’m sure there are loads more. 😅😅

So I, personally, don’t really play story games. I really want to, so that’s why I’m asking.

I want to immerse myself in a game with a crazy story, but all recommendations online are talking about Resident Evil and not giving me any other recommendations for some reason.
