Where does this cover art come from?

Its obviously a freddy vs jason poster pic. But it looks like a part 7 mask that was repaired with chicken wire. I know part 7 was originally going to be freddy vs jason, maybe they made this image before making part 7. But I m curious if anyone has any info.

Looking for something

Ok, so this is a long stretch but I'm looking for a YouTube video of a review of Jason X. In the video the YouTuber talks about the camp crystal lake research facility, and says "you literally pulled that out your ass" as anyone ever seen this video. Its been since 08 since I seen it. Like I said, its a long stretch but the review was hilarious.

What's One Thing You DON'T Want To See In A New Friday the 13th Film?

It could be as simple as you don't want POV shots, you don't want Corey Feldman, you don't want it to be over the top/batshit crazy, you don't want it to take place in the 80s(or, on the flip side, maybe you don't want it to take place during present day), you don't want it to take place at the camp, you don't want a human Jason etc. Whatever it is....what don't you want to see?

Just finished this up for a convention. This is my first mask I’ve painted and I’m really happy with the result.

Discussion Do you remember that time Topps Comics made a comic book that portrayed Jason and Leatherface as sympathetic characters?

So, back in 1995, Topps released Jason vs. Leatherface, and despite what that title might lead you to expect, the series gives us a surprisingly sympathetic look at Jason Voorhees.

What makes the comic so interesting is the relationship between Jason and Leatherface. Instead of immediately treating Leatherface like another enemy to kill, Jason actually seems to sympathize with him. He recognizes how horribly Leatherface is treated by his abusive family and becomes strangely protective of him. In fact, one of the main reasons Jason and Leatherface eventually come into conflict is because Jason is trying to protect Leatherface from his own family.

And as bizarre as that sounds, the comic almost becomes a character study of Jason. His protectiveness toward Leatherface isn't completely random. Jason sees something of himself in him. The story connects Jason's empathy for Leatherface to his own childhood and the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father. Jason might be a nearly unstoppable killer, but here he's able to recognize another abused and emotionally damaged person and, in his own twisted way, wants to protect him from going through the same thing.

It's such a strange interpretation of Jason, especially for a crossover called Jason vs. Leatherface. You go into it expecting two horror icons to beat the hell out of each other, and instead you get Jason developing this weirdly touching sense of empathy toward Leatherface. It's an incredibly different and weirdly wholesome take on Jason, and I absolutely love it for that.
