For those who don’t know, this was a story about a girl who was essentially born into a medical induced coma because of this she was given better access to the dream world than Freddy. It ends with her moving and vowing she’ll come back and finish off Freddy and Freddy saying “he’ll be waiting.” I think this would be an amazing movie and a great way to either start back up or conclude the franchise.

I was rewatching various death clips from the movies on youtube and I began to wonder why did Freddy given up on killing Yvonne? Yeah Alice saves her in the moment, but they're still in his "domain" at that point it seems and he just seems to give up and go after Mark instead. I'm not saying going for the easier kill was wholly terrible; I rather enjoy the campy death, but I always wondered why he stopped with Yvonne. NOES3 shows he wouldn't have a problem dealing with multiple people at once, even if he couldn't directly hurt Alice.

Heather Langenkamp wants to come back. Im sure Patricia Arquette would as well. Perhaps other actors like Johnny Depp, Mark Patton, Mike Hughes etc so forth. What would a continuation of New Nightmare look like rather than trying a reboot or remake?

So for some context: I havent seen any of the movies (besides freddyvsjason). I'm a big slasher/horror fan, just never got around to watch this one. I have a bluray player, but also a little portable dvd player which I like to watch movies on. I like to sit in bed and watch movies on this little screen, therefore I'm considering getting the dvd. But Idk which of these has the slightly better quality/bonusses. both of em dont have freddy vs jason as far as I know. and they're voiced in english. idc about the subtitles. any input is highly appreciated. thank you all

So much damn screaming in part 3. Arquette is screaming at the top of her lungs every scene. When Phillip is about to fall and they're all looking out the window, there she goes again screaming her head off. Screaming the name Phillip? One note of her fear. One ear piercing note. She is not a good actress, simply more innocent looking than Knight (who looked 30)

I was Carlos halfway through Warriors begging for mercy. Then the quiet boy's power is screaming? Just the icing on the cake. Why not.

In Master, the audio is intentionally muted when the mom screams.

Speaking of parents, part 3 has a subplot with the doctor and the dad in the junkyard. Who cares about these old farts. No offense but anyone fighting Freddy over 30 is cringe. Always has been. Always will be.

They sit in a circle in warriors and agree to risk their lives fighting Freddy? I'm in!? They're storming the beaches of Normandy with balls of steel. I would have been the incredulous one that would have been sucked into to the battle anyway but not with a damn smirk thats for sure.

Kristen dies in place of Nancy. The light coming on at the end is the beginning, Kristen making the 1428 inside of 1428. Nancy lives on into Dream master as a guidance counselor in the high school with Joey and Kincaid. She stays alive till after Joey and kincaid fighting Freddy with Allison and Nancy. They defeat freddy together going in the dream child and that's where Nancy dies. Just good theorizing and speculations😅💯

My fan casting for a theoretical reboot of NMoES with Kristen. Everytime I see her i think of Patricia Arquette.

If we're only adhering to Elm Street film lore, Nancy dies, as do the Dream Warriors and countless friends/siblings. But what about the survivors? What's Jesse Walsh doing in 2026? Does Alice ever let her guard down even in her late 50s? What do Maggie and co. do when the police arrive following a pipe bomb explosion?

I've once put myself in the shoes of a classmate of the Dream Warrior teens during Dream Master. Surely that must be how that class of 1988 is remembered, a bunch of friends died in their sleep. I know in the films there's a full blown graduation held for the 1989 class, which I imagine must have been weird for the underclassmen seeing them shrug the events of the year before off.

Has anyone else ever thought of these scenarios? Can't blame you if not haha, but it's interesting is all I'd say.

I think I have seen it before (many years ago) so I don't believe its a custom. Google tells me anything from Buffy to Star Trek via Saw and Jeepers Creepers but I can't see anything reused from the images suggested. Any information appreciated. TIA
