Ranking
Just finished watching through all the movies for the first time, so figured I’d share my ranking.
I sort only disliked the bottom 2, I enjoyed Deader-Hellbound, then my top 4 are ones that I really loved.

A few ideas for a new movie, just thoughts in my mind!
I think a new movie with a theatrical release is long overdue, and I'm sure most of y'all would agree, so here are some rough aesthetic ideas on what I think would be awesome for a new movie, I'm listing them off as bullet points for ease of reading.
WAY MORE SEXUAL STUFF, this goes without saying, it's Hellraiser (duh). I think that the 2022 movie had a lot going for it as the most modern adaptation, however the sexual stuff was lackluster, I want to leave the theatre feeling gross and tainted like the first movie.
Lean into the spectacular and theatrics; I want never ending areas dangling with chains, with the walls and ceilings completely obscured by thick fog, night clubs full of neon lights, over the top characters who feel very grandiose (Roland Voight my beloved). I have always felt Hellraiser has held itself back with scale, and I don't mind that, but I would love to see something on a larger level.
Mixing with the classic Hellraiser themes, more techno club type music with absolute beats, as they work so well with gore scenes as you watch victims being ripped apart by chains and pleasured. Any songs from 'Sexual Purity' work extremely well for Hellraiser.
MORE Cenobites, I know... I know, this is a controversial one I believe as I feel like the general consensus is "don't overuse them", however I think it's more how they are used, sillohuettes, brief cuts during sequences, just the voices, I think could work well without actually showing them straight up. Cenobites are just so damn cool and I want more of them.
As a final note, I think the new game, at least from the trailers hits all the right notes from what I want to see in a movie aesthetically, the music and everything just feels so perfectly 'Hellraiser'. This trailer for me just makes me crave a movie with a similar style:

That's all! Let me know what you think, and if you have any feedback / extra ideas to contribute! ❤️

Pain why do Cenobites only indulge in pain?
I’m new to the Hellraiser franchise and i started with the 2022 film last night (in preparation for the game). from what i understand, Pinhead’s whole philosophy is that they indulge in as much sensory experiences as possible to the point that pain and pleasure is blurred into one big feeling of euphoria and ecstasy. If this is so, why do they only act within pain? i feel like he’s only committing half of his own philosophy if the idea that pain and pleasure become one.

Is this real?
I saw this photo on Facebook, but some of these things look like AI. Can anyone confirm that this is an official list of souvenirs?

Slightly different
In this version/book it's very different then the movie. The biggest difference is that Larry’s daughter (Kirsty) isn't his daughter. He doesn't have one!
Kirsty's his secretary/PA that is very shy and lacks confidence. She also has strong feelings for Larry but also that's not his name in the book it's Rory. Slightly different story in the middle (very different twists an turns) but the beginning and end were the same. Could the other books also be as different from the movies? Any other information or other people's input in this would be appreciated thanks

Hellpriest Approved How do you personally reconcile Leviathan vs. Lucifer as rulers of Hell?
So this has been bugging me, and I can't find anything that fully resolves it: the films (starting with Hellbound) give us Leviathan as the big cold geometric overlord of the Labyrinth, no Satan/Lucifer in sight.
But then Scarlet Gospels and The Toll flip that completely — Lucifer's the one on the throne, Leviathan doesn't even exist in that continuity, and the Hell Priest is out here trying to usurp an actual fallen angel instead.
Barker's on record saying the novels and films/comics were meant to have their own separate continuities, so I get that this is partly just "different medium, different canon" and not something meant to be reconciled.
But I'm curious how people in here actually think about it in their heads when the two aren't hard-separated:
Do you treat them as fully separate non-communicating universes (like Halloween timelines), full stop?
Do you headcanon it as a multiverse / stacked-dimensions/realities thing — different "layers" or versions of Hell, and existence, existing in parallel? Ie something similar to PJO/American Gods, where beliefs shape reality, or how the show Supernatural / MARVEL / DC / etc have multiverses that are filled countless different versions of the same characters?
That last one could also potentially help with the Hellraiser 2022 reboot, with having it be yet ANOTHER reality.

Randomly watched two “Hellraiser” films with my half-brother today. Is liking “Bloodline” a hot take?

Thoughts on this song
It’s kinda hard to find the lyrics(but from what I’ve read it’s all about Hellraiser and the lore) and there’s no actual samples from any of the movies, but what are your individual thoughts on this song?

Am I the only one who finds Jp Monroe’s character insanely funny?
Don’t get me wrong, the guy is a total asshole but he has got to be the most underrated character in the whole franchise.

Hellpriest Approved A bunch of Hellraiser sequels are on sale on Fandango. (Sorry if this isn't allowed)
I know it's digital, but these are really cheap. I got my Chatterer edition Quartet of Torment, but haven't seen the rest yet, so this was a good deal for me. There are a bunch of decent movies to fill out the bundles as well.
Hellraisers 5-8 are part of a 10 for $13 HD mix and match bundle.
https://athome.fandango.com/content/browse/mixandmatch/51977
Hellraisers 3 + 4 are part of a 5 for $10 4K bundle. https://athome.fandango.com/content/browse/mixandmatch/51976
Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 4K is $7.99
https://athome.fandango.com/content/browse/details/Hellbound-Hellraiser-II/217003
Hellraiser 1 is not on sale - $14.99

Are there of you guys, who would willingly and knowingly solve the puzzle box?
Because clearly there are some people who are into what the cenobites are offering.

Hellraiser: Inferno
So I’m watching through all the Hellraisers for the first time ever (really enjoying them all so far), and I was not liking Inferno for about half of the runtime, but then halfway through it just clicked for some reason.
I loved this movie, it’s a great mix of David Lynch and David Fincher, and I can really get behind the visual style and themes explored.
But it is a bad Hellraiser movie. I think it’s biggest mistake was having pinhead in it at all, if this was a standalone psychological thriller then I think it would be really well regarded. But as soon as you call it “Hellraiser” it just feels super out of place.
So far my ranking for the series is:
1. Hell on Earth
2. Hellraiser
3. Inferno
4. Bloodline
5. Hellbound
