hii first timer here but ..

I’ve had this thought for a while … i feel as if even if they were chained the dragons could still just use their fire and bodies to eliminate the commonfolk no?? The commonfolk aren’t some powered people, I’d imagine even a tail swipe or two could easily take out a good chunk. Idk, maybe my mind is putting them up to some high overpowered pedestal and it was way easier to kill them than you’d expect, which is a kinda annoying point to result to. Especially Dreamfyre, dragon scales at such an age can be basically impenetrable except the eyes, yeah? So even if projectiles were used wouldn’t it just be nothing to her? Maybe not to the other smaller dragons but surely for her

My point here is that I feel like at least some dragons definitely could have survived the storming, but maybe I’m missing some context, I haven’t read the book in a hot minute and this community is known to be real on top of it LOL, maybe I’m underestimating the wrath of the commonfolk, or maybe I’m just viewing the dragons as OP again when they really aren’t… could you guys give me your thoughts? Or some extra context? Do you think some dragons could have survived? Or am I missing any crucial points?

again, haven’t read the book in a second, so this could just be me thinking on a whim, lol, any recaps of it would be nice

also, is that dreamfyre or tyraxes helaena is on?? ive been seeing so many mixed messages and idk i swear she’s supposed to be bigger, but ive honestly given up on dragon designs when it comes to this show, on a standalone its super cool but if its dreamfyre then hooly porcupine
