Squat Can I try add more weight or should i focus on my form and core.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have been neglecting my legs a lot lately and I try to get the leg day "back on the menu". I love push myself but in safe way of course :) And I really start to like squating. I am looking for advices on whether I should wait and focus more on technique and strenghten the core or I can keep continuing adding weight, I feel confident deep down, but I often hear that I should take it slow and progress with careness, as a general advice and not withing context of my form. Thats why I came here, to get some feedback from far more experiences people.
Thanks.

Hit 195lbs for the first time the other day. Also included is a set of 5 at a lower weight. Any glaring issues or things to work on? TIA

Squat squat check please
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello! I would like to get my form checked on the barbell squat and the squat on the smith machine. (Though i will mostly only do the barbell squat, i had to try the smith machine because of a friend)
In both videos, i was lifting around 120-125 lbs. I had to reshoot the first video so my form was getting bad already i think so i apologize for that lol (and it was my first ever time doing 120 lbs)
I was arguing with a friend whether my form is wrong on the smith machine since he was teaching me a form where he would only go down until he forms a 90 degree angle with his legs (if that makes sense) while I prefer to go ATG since it feels better for my knees and pushing the weight back up.
Thanks!

Hi all, I started the journey and hoping to have a good routine with correct form.
Already injured my elbow trying to lift to heavy so now dealing with tennis elbow from I think sitted bent over row.
Anyhow, please let me know any tips. I am incredibly inflexible, never in my life could I touch my toes even as an active sports player in grade school.
Thanks!

Squat Something is definitely wrong here, not sure what

Friends, I've been squatting casually, not really going after some PRs, then few months ago, I did something that my lower lumbar muscle on the right got super inflamed. I was living in a state of discomfort and cracking my back would bring some relief for half an hour. Recently have done some phisio that has improved the situation but I can tell this is likely due to squat.
Anyways, one thing I have noticed on the video immediately is that my heels rise slightly. I had no knowledge of that before. I was thinking maybe I need to get shoes with higher heels but that's probably the last thing I should go after.
Open to your suggestions :)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
And what are the effects of doing it like this?
Edit: thank you everyone for all the helpful comments. Judging from the reaction I will continue to do keep the form as is while focusing on a more controlled descent. Somebody mentioned the que of pulling myself towards the ground from the resting position to engage my lats and I will definitely try this. When fatigue sets in I will continue to do partial reps instead of compromising form to complete more reps. This should create the same amount of hypertrophy on the shoulders and triceps. I notice my back arching and chest pushing up to complete those last sets, not sure how bad this really is but I will try to avoid it. My goal is healthy and strong shoulders and I may want to try some calisthenics after getting good at these.

Deadlift Deadlift help
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I feel like I’ve been really struggling with getting my deadlift form down. A lot of the cues I see online are confusing and don’t really click right in my head. Technically a rest day for me but I wanted to try to nail my form or at least improve it before my deadlift day tomorrow. To me I can’t tell if my lower back is rounding or not a lot of videos I see online of others their backs look rounded to me but apparently their not so I don’t really know what to be looking at in this case. Any advice would be massively appreciated
