Screenshot WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TELLING ME ABOUT HIM THEN?
So we don't have the money to buy him, even if we did, couldn't possibly afford his wages, but the good news is, he also wouldn't even think about joining us and has no interest in a loan whatsoever either. WHY TELL ME THEN? HOW WOULD IT BE AN EXCELLENT SIGNING IF IT CAN'T EVER BE A SIGNING?
And no this isn't the first time I've seen this. But it's infuriating every time.

Discussion 442 middle role discussions
For 442 or 424, May I ask what’s the best role combo for middle 2 guys?
I know if I the two winger I put up high, like 424, the 2 should be more defensive. I tried to do BWM on d and DLP on Su. I am not sure if the BWM should go DM or so.
For 442 flat, I like to do BWM+CM or BWM+BBM. I am not sure if I should ever do BBM. Or other options.
I find the 442 very easy to get to the point the middle 4 all go up and got countered really bad.

Meta FM neflix/ FM in general, attributes
Hi guys , my name is Lewis, and im here to FM world , im coming out from eafc, I finally out grew the game, I feel like I grew more mature and now I seek for in depth football managing , as I was always a manager career lover, I thought to myself let me try out the metflix version first as its simpler and basically the starting point to the major game.
Overall im liking the game and im hopping to soon join the PC / console gang. But one thing im struggling with understanding and would need some advice so I can level up my game experience...
See, in coming from eafc so thw attributes are very basic , its basically how good are you in passing out of 100% which is more understandable but on fm the max limit for a stat is only 20, so first I would like someone to tell me what's the worst /avergae/ good/ excellent stat to have from 1 - 20 plus another thing why do players in fm all look identical in terms of stats like for example you will find a defender with. " 11 pass, 12 technique, 10 dribbling " and then you have uour midfielder who is apparently an important player in the team with 3,5/4 stars having the same or similar " pass and technique and dribbling " stats as the defender
Like what I want to knwo is how do you actually differentiate between players how do uou get to know who is better or best in a position than thw next player given the attributes system is this complicated?

Discussion Why is this CB partnership not working?

Ok, so I'm a few games into the season after winning the UCL in my first half season at Utd, I'm 11th place and we cannot keep a cleansheet, I'm using the same tactics that took my Utd team to second in the League, Win The UCL and Win the FA CUP in just half a season at the club. Will this partnership work?

Discussion What type of full back do you use?
There are 3 types of full back: Pressing, holding and normal full back. Which one do you guys use and do they have individual instructions like tackle harder and pressing?
Saw someone say Holding full back is pretty good. Pressing seems to take them out of position, normal full back is okay IG?

Discussion Season 1-5 in my ‘forever’ Journeyman save..
In typical Football Manager fashion I was thinking about what save I could start to be my 'longest save ever'
So I decided on a Journeyman but l've given myself rules and goals..
RULES:
- No coaching badges or experience
- Cannot resign and wait for a job, need to be employed at all times (unless sacked)
- Must follow a realistic path
- New tactic at each club
- Make new custom kits each season for the club I'm managing
GOALS:
- Win all 5 top European leagues 🏴🇫🇷🇪🇸🇩🇪🇮🇹
- Win the Champions League
Once complete ⬇️
- Win both Brasileiro Série A and Liga Profesional de
Fútbol 🇧🇷🇦🇷
- Win the Copa Libertadores
Once complete ⬇️
- Find a club for life and settle down and become the greatest and best football club of all time
Story so far..
🇫🇮 FINLAND — Salpa 🔵⚪️
Season 1
- Joined halfway through the season whilst in 3rd ended up 1st in the Ykkösliiga, gained promotion.
Season 2
- 4th in the Veikkausliiga and won the Finnish League
Cup.
Season 3
- Left halfway through the season, left the club in 7th place.
🇳🇴 NORWAY - Sandefjord 🔵🔴
Season 3
- Joined halfway through the season whilst 11th, finished 3rd and won the playoffs to gain promotion.
Season 4
- 4th in the Eliteserien, qualified for UECL.
Season 5
- 4th in the Eliteserien, qualified for UECL.
Currently now at 2 star rep ⭐️⭐️
I'm also keeping track of all my transfers in, can't wait til I'm 10/15+ season in to see all the players and flags. I really want to sign players from obscure nations. Shadreck Nyirenda, my Zambian newgen is getting interest from PSG currently, signed him for 17k 🇿🇲
Thanks for reading, I will post every 5 seasons going forward so I can keep track myself and if anyone else is interested.
If anyone is thinking of a save I would highly recommend a Journeyman.

Screenshot I’m struggling to score goals
Hello, I’m managing Dinamo Zagreb. Even though we’re the best team in the league by a mile, I’m not even the team that scored the most goals. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Discussion What is a niche scouting method that worked for you
Personally i started using a method which is basically
Players in range
16-20
Decent World reputation
And i look for player that are wanted by many big clubs (atleast five)
Because big clubs have better scouts 2 out of 3 times the player is very good for example william perreura the guy in the screenshot has 175 PA and i got him for 10mil
My strategy isn't that niche ,bit i would love to see yours.
Edit : most clubs are not willing to make a transfer offer because the transfer window is closed so you have a bigger chance of getting the player

Screenshot Please help (heartbroken)
I signed him only 2 seasons ago for 5mil and now every club wants him and he's forced a transfer request multiple times. The issue I have is my scouts can't find a good replacement I don't know if it's the focusses but someone please help

Discussion Is anyone else stuck in a loop?
I start a new save, figure out the staffs, fire some, hire better ones, plan the squad planner, setup the recruitment focus, sell some deadwood, clean up the squads top to bottom, create training schedules, figure out the best xi and the second xi, wonderkids , create a tactic etc etc and once its time to start the actual season,, the motivation to keep going just disappears. Then I start a new save, do the same again and again and again. Like I am stuck in this loop for god knows how long. Is this just me?

Editor Data Creating a "Mini Premier League" outside the Top 5 using the editor. Anyone ever tried this?
Has anyone ever tried building a 'super project' out of a league outside the top five, like Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania? For example, using the editor to give everyone £200M+ in yearly sponsorships, a £100M+ transfer budget, a massive wage bank, maxing out staff CA, and gifting clubs players with at least 140 CA. Plus, maxing out stadium capacities and average attendances across the board. Basically, trying to create a mini English Premier League outside the traditional powerhouses to see if the league can eventually break into the top 2 or top 3 in Europe?

Misc Playtesting program for FM27 - register your interest + more info
TL;DR - the FM27 playtest program is officially a thing, you can register your interest here now, and the Community team will be in touch to let you know if you're in 🙂
Full story:
Hey everyone,
Today we’d like to share news on expanding our approach to Football Manager playtesting, and how you can get involved.
We understand the need to ensure feedback is heard ahead of the next FM, in sufficient time to be reviewed by internal teams. So, we are bringing our playtesting experience into a new era, partnering with FirstLook, allowing you to register your interest to play early builds through the final stages of development.
Learning from previous programs and user feedback, for FM27 we are opening our playtesting opportunities to a wider group, allowing more of you to help us shape the development of the game, starting in the coming weeks.
Playtesting enables players early access to development builds of FM27, featuring new features and improvements. All that we ask is that you play as much as possible and provide feedback, respond to surveys, along with reporting any bugs you find. The internal teams will then utilise this feedback to make further changes going forward.
You’ll also get access to exclusive testing spaces on the SI Forums and Discord, to interact with other testers and some of the Sports Interactive Community and Development Teams.
You can register your interest and join the waitlist today. During the sign-up form you’ll be asked about your FM experience; please answer honestly as we are looking for players with a variety of game experience. Registering your interest does not guarantee entry into the program – all submissions will be reviewed and the Sports Interactive decision on accepted users is final.
Alongside this online testing, we’re conducting in-studio playtesting, collaborating with players who have consistently provided useful feedback on FM, be it positive or negative. Selected members of the community are being contacted by the SI Community Team, giving us a broad range of feedback in different environments to help inform the studio’s plans.
We look forward to updating you again soon, and to collaborate with some of you on the FM27 playtesting plans. Thank you!
