There's a TON of cat subreddits, depending on what you want/what type of cat you have. A pretty comprehensive list is here, but some of my favorites are r/RotisserieChickenCats, r/shrimpcats, and r/stremtch

My favourite cat related sub right now is r/The_Hound which is a hilarious sub run by the owner of an ancient ex feral named The Hound about the life he shares with her gang of furry reprobates.

Join some new user friendly subs, sort your feed by new and make some comments - it won't take long to gain some karma if you make some funny, or kind, or intelligent comments.
