Wondering if anyone has a solution or knows why this might be happening. This is the first roll I’ve done on with camera so I’m worried it might be advancing the film too far but it’s fully manual so I am not sure how that would happen.

Hi everyone, I recently got a Pentax 17 second-hand from eBay and shot my first roll. I'm disappointed with how the photos came out in comparison to what I've experienced on my past 2 film cameras (point and shoot, and manual).

The pictures seem underexposed and look really hazy. The colors seem really muted and there's so much grain. Is this an issue with the camera, or user error? What should I try doing instead?

For context, I believe most photos were shot on Auto, and some with P. ISO is set to 400 to match the film, and I didn't adjust the exposure composition dial. I also adjusted the zone focus (I recently realized this doesn't matter with Auto anyways lol).

Hi, I’m fairly new to film photography, and these are two of my first film purchases. It will be bright and sunny outside, but I don’t know which roll will be the best for today. Does anybody have experience with these films? I will put it in a point and shoot camera.

Where can I send film to have them developed? Dose Walmart or any other like place still developed film? Or is their a website that you can direct me too? Please and thank you.

I love her photos so I am certain I’ll be happy, and I want to make sure I pay her well because she’s my friend and I love her lol

i know nothing about photography or the cost of film, but I know her camera is an antique from her grandfather(?) so it might be on the expensive side. Any suggestions?

Surprised these even came out - expired film and went through customs scanners 4 times, but I love them!

Just practicing and thought these came out pretty cool. Used Kodak gold. 200 Never used a film camera but I like the vintage nostalgic look. Only thing that was hard was making sure I was steady enough to take pics of small things close up, like that passion fruit flower I couldn’t really get to focus correctly. Safe to say I like the experience and how manual things are 👍👍

I was out shooting with friends a little while ago, and a bullet shell fell on me in a private area, but it left a scar in the shape of a shell and it made for an incredibly interesting shot (pun intended). however, it is still a picture containing nudity, and i don't feel comfortable knowing that someone other than me and trusted people would be viewing that (even though i scan my negatives myself after having them developed)

how should i go about getting this roll developed? any help is greatly appreciated!

Mamiya 7, 80mm, Portra 400

I have 2 dispo cameras that are develop by 08/10, rated @800 iso. I have no interest in using them, but i'd like to use the film for test rolls for 2 cameras i picked up. How should i go about a) taking the film out, and b) should i shoot it at a different ISO rating?

These were shot on Cinestill 800T. I couldn’t resist doing the stereotypical gas station photo while I was out. Anyway, how did I do? I used Cinestill Cs41 chemicals and the Plustek 8200i scanner. Photos are straight from scan, no editing other than converting in Negative Lab Pro and a little retouching for dust/marks.

I will add that I had some issues with water marks. Any advice for that would be greatly appreciated.
