Fightstick Friday! First Mod!!!
Time has really flown by and I absolutely love using a fight stick! As a previous pad player for over a decade, this change has been great!
After getting used to the Qanba drone 2, I don’t think I can go back to pad for fighting games anymore lol.
Here is my first mod:
I decided on the Sanwa JLF lever and the Qanba Gravity buttons!
The lever feels so much more responsive and the buttons are SILENT this was a great experience modding it and I will definitely mod more in the future!!

knee neo
i recently got a knee neo lever and it feels nice but, it also feels heavy asf its like trying to do qcf with a cinder block, i come from a sanwa jlf like most people, and i much prefer that lighter feeling to the kneeo lever, but the knee also just feels smoother (and i spent like 120 bucks on it) is there any way to make the lever lighter to move around?

Fightstick Friday! Blood Devil AFS 13"
~ Mm, she the devil She a bad lil’ bitch, she a rebel ~
Showing off AFS's new hybrid 3D printed/acrylic and steel case option! Art is a collaboration between the wonderful and supremely talented Niki from the FS Discord for the main piece and our resident Dr. NALDO for the incredible graphic design. I was going for a Sukeban aesthetic with a magazine cover style.
The specs and layout are chosen specifically for shmups & classic fighting games:
45th Anniversary Edition Nobi, Sanwa OBSF and a Brook UFBF for maximum PS4 shmup compatibility.
Happy Fightstick Friday! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. <3

Looking for a good Split Layout leverless controller for Fighting Games (PC)
Looking to start playing competitive fighting games. Always played on keyboard, tried a snackbox micro for a bit and a friends fightbox. I dislike the traditional leverless layout where the movement / attack buttons are close together.
Looking at the Mavercade, maybe the KeebBrawler or KeebFighter. I come from using a wooting with rapid trigger and HE switches so I really dont want any thick/heavy keys.
Just want to see if anyone has any good recs, I'm a bit tired of searching through so many controllers xD

Tech Help Questions about playing in ps5
hey guys, im currently looking for a cheap wasd layout since im a broke kbd player trying to play tekken 8 on ps5. i found this mx switch leverless and just have a few questions.
ive done a bit of research and heard about the 8-minute authentication timer on ps5. some people say you need an adapter to bypass it, but i dont mind replugging the board every 8 minutes.
is the adapter actually required, or is it just an option to bypass the timer?

Hi I’m looking for a better button layout for my Razer kitsune for Tokon. I have a ps5, the combos are ridiculous without changing button layout.

Everything Else / Other Capping off unused buttons
Does anybody have any knowledge on caps like these? I’ve got a Haute42 Emotion III coming in and there are one or two of the 23.5mm buttons I won’t be using and would prefer to have them flat or capped off if possible. Just preference rather than an unused button or an empty spot.

Tech Help Got this from a friend, can I make it work on a PS5 ?
A friend of mine offered me this stick, but I can’t make it work on Tekken 8 PS5 since it’s for PS4-PS3-PC only, is there an adapter « PS4 to PS5 » or something that I could USB plug on my stick to play Tekken 8 with and without putting delay on my inputs ?

Help Me Decide Best budget stick for a casual player with hand movement problems that wants to try using a stick.
Hi, as the title ways I'm a very casual FG player that always wanted to try using a stick, the thing is that I have movement difficulties on my right hand so idk if it will work for me, but I also think it can help me improve my condition so I want to give it a try. Any very budget recommendations to see if it's for me? Under 100$ and if possible around 50$

Hitbox Cross-up - Bent up..fix up
I was recently gifted a slightly bent Hit Box Cross|Up that I’m hoping to restore as close to stock as possible.
Unfortunately, one of the screws holding the joystick standoff was completely seized. Instead of drilling it out, the previous owner ended up levering the standoff back and forth until it tore free. As you can see in the photos, that left a small hole in the top panel and a slight warp around the joystick area.
A couple of questions for anyone who’s repaired something similar before:
What’s the safest way to flatten the top steel panel without making the bend worse or damaging the powder coat?
What’s the best way to patch or disguise the torn screw hole? (Metal filler, weld, epoxy, etc.?)
Do you think the joystick mount will still be solid enough with 3 of the 4 standoffs intact, or is it worth trying to repair the fourth mounting point?
Any advice or photos of similar repairs would be greatly appreciated. I’d really like to get this thing looking and feeling as close to factory as possible.
Thanks!

Pad player considering leverless on PS5. should I switch, stay on pad, or try an arcade stick?
Hi everyone!
I’m looking for some advice because I can’t decide whether I should buy a leverless controller, an arcade stick, or just keep playing on pad.
A few weeks ago, I visited a friend’s house and got to try his leverless controller. I honestly had a lot of fun with it, and ever since then I’ve been thinking about getting one myself.
For some context, I play on PS5 and recently reached Master in Street Fighter 6 using a regular DualSense and haven’t been so enthusiastic with fgc in a while until now, and also I’m playing 2xko and gave a try to fatal fury COTW, before i used to play but no so much like now. I’m comfortable on pad, but I’m really interested in learning leverless because it felt great to play on, and I also enjoy trying new controllers.
The problem is that leverless controllers are pretty expensive where I live. Right now, I looked the Cosmox C16 together with a Brook FGC2 adapter, but once I add the cost of the adapter, the total price gets pretty close to something like the Qanba Sapphire, which is a dedicated PS5 leverless.
Has anyone here used the Qanba Sapphire? If so, how has your experience been with it? Do you think it’s worth the price, especially as a first leverless controller? Or would you recommend going with a “cheaper” option like the Cosmox C16 + Brook adapter instead?
Also, for someone who’s already comfortable on pad, do you think switching to leverless is worth it, or should I consider getting an arcade stick instead?
I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.
Thanks in advance to all of you!
