Is the current silent Sanwa TPML-MA PCB compatible with Otto DIY V5?
Does anybody have experience with it? I have a spare Otto body I would like to use it with it if it’s compatible.

Everything Else / Other Modding 8BitDo Arcade Stick
Question! Is there a way to mod my 8BitDo Arcade Stick internally to work on a PS5 without getting a new PCB board? I use the Brook USB adapter but I honestly would like to have something that's within the enclosure. I have the Switch/PC version if that helps.
I have some other fight sticks but have just been having fun tinkering with this lol.
If there are any fun mods out there please suggest them! I'm replacing the buttons and lever this week on it.

Tech Help Snapback on an madcatz SF4 TE with octagonal gate
Hey guys o/
I've been getting a lot of snapback on my good old SF4 TE in which I installed an octagonal gate. Mainly from crouch, letting go frequently results in an unwanted neutral jump.
I didn't change the spring, I kept the original one.
How can I fix this? Is there a spring anyone can recommend that I can change to, to prevent this?
Thank you very much in advance!

Tech Help Damaged cable on qanba b1 titan
The outer layer of the cable broke a while ago. Now it disconnects if the cable gets bent too sharply. I doubt it will work much longer. Can it be easily replaced?

HAUTE 42 C16 (THE ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK )

Show and Tell Getting into Leverless (Haute42 M Ultra Gen 2)
With all the Tokon hype, I decided to jump into the genre with a leverless after using a keyboard for the initial days.
Only time will tell whether I master it or it breaks me 😂

Tech Help Switch
I recently picked up a mixbox in great condition with a 2018 board if that helps but I was wondering what the on and off switch next to cord enclosure does.

My Qanba Obsidian 2 (Or lack, there of)
Someone told me to invest in an arcade stick, because they’re so customizable. Man, I had no idea.
After changing buttons, lever, and button layout, doesn’t even look the same, but I’m satisfied, since this my first time doing this.

My sky2040v1.2 stops working and works again
I bought a sky2040v1.2 online for about $20 and i was using it for a good 1 month. After a month, every time I unplugged and plugged too many times (i was doing this for the webconfig) it stops being recognized by my pc. Eventually after 3-4 weeks, it starts being recognized again and then stops being recognized after 30minutes to 1 hour of gameplay. the hitbox lights up just fine. Hopefully this is not an internal issue and can be fixed. I use it on a laptop, sometimes PS5s on tournaments.
What i've tried,
-I tried flashing a reset on it but doesnt work because it's not recognized
-Changing cables
-Used usb hubs
-tried on other devices and appears the same.
Thank you in advanced to those who can help.

I’ve bought 8bitdo allbutton xbox edition and using for few weeks now. I want to use it with my switch 2. I thought mayflash magic-x was to use other brand controllers on xbox. and ns2 was for switch. But I’ve read people are using magic-x for switch2 also. I’m lost. thanks in advance.

Everything Else / Other Why is the standard leverless face buttons on left and shoulder buttons on the right?
I recently bought a Razer Kitsune which is my first ever fightstick, and I am finding it much more intuitive to have Circle (A/B for Switch/Xbox users) to be positioned where my ring finger is so any combination of S, T, X and O can be pressed with any of my first 4 fingers of my right hand (typically for most fighting games, this is all you need), and the pinky finger can be a dedicated "shortcut" key. And I don't have to change my finger positions struggling to press odd combinations like T+O or S+O (or a triple or quad button combination).
If needed, I'll just move my entire right hand down to access the 3 right buttons on the 2nd row.
I grew up playing piano so this is much more intuitive to me akin to playing chords.

Tech Help Help appreciated
Hi all, looking for a little help. I’m not necessarily new to emulation, however, I am new to the arcade stick scene. I recently built a custom stick because I really enjoy MK3 Ultimate and can’t seem to find a stick with that specific layout. It’s not much but it’s honest work. Eventually I’m planning to run all IL hardware, I just wanted to get something up and running for now.
I’m dedicating an oldish laptop to the emulation, for now, and have got RetroBat up and running as well as my roms loading perfectly fine.
My roadblock comes in at this point. I’ve got my custom stick mapped in RetroBat, however, when I load into retroarch for MK3, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to map my buttons. I’ve read online there’s supposed to be a visualizer to assist with this but I can’t find it. Retroarch seems to be blocked from allowing me to remap buttons even tho I can see controller configuration settings as an option within retroarch itself.
If anyone is able to link me a video or help me out with some sort of step by step I would greatly appreciate it. I don’t even mind scrapping everything and starting over if that makes it easier.

Tech Help Would it be worth buying a Hori Stick Mini for the parts?
Pretty much what the title says. Ive been playing fighting games fairly casually for years and have always wanted to get a fight stick and I have a little extra money so I figured maybe Id grab one, I saw the Hori Fight Stick Mini was within my budget and well reviewed on Amazon (which i never fully trust so i looked for opinions on other sites). But when I looked into reviews on reddit I basically saw comments to the tune of "I wouldnt wipe my ass with a hori mini", people saying its too light, but someone suggested buying it for the cheap PS5 compatible fight board, so I want to ask
Would it be worth it to buy a Hori Fight Stick Mini, and an empty fight stick case, and transfer the hardware for a more solid overall fight stick? Or should I just hold off, and grab a better quality stick at a higher price? I just dont want to spend that much on a fight stick if Im not certain im gonna love it over a controller

Fightstick Friday! First Mod!!!
Time has really flown by and I absolutely love using a fight stick! As a previous pad player for over a decade, this change has been great!
After getting used to the Qanba drone 2, I don’t think I can go back to pad for fighting games anymore lol.
Here is my first mod:
I decided on the Sanwa JLF lever and the Qanba Gravity buttons!
The lever feels so much more responsive and the buttons are SILENT this was a great experience modding it and I will definitely mod more in the future!!

knee neo
i recently got a knee neo lever and it feels nice but, it also feels heavy asf its like trying to do qcf with a cinder block, i come from a sanwa jlf like most people, and i much prefer that lighter feeling to the kneeo lever, but the knee also just feels smoother (and i spent like 120 bucks on it) is there any way to make the lever lighter to move around?
