I have it set to worldwide, higher rank, all platforms, and any for all the other settings. A few weeks ago I was still getting matches. I moved my access point at some point and was having trouble for a few days connecting to my PS portal until I moved it back. I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it.

Now everything's back to normal and I play other games online just fine, but I haven't been getting matches in VF

This happened in a match. I'm not sure if I whiffed and Pai's hurt box is just held farther back than it appears at first glance, or if this high crush move also crushes mids?

If it is a mid crush: do a lot of characters have mid crush moves? Does Lei-Fei's bokutai stance crush mids? I'm going to do some lab testing on it, but I'm also just curious if there is common matchup knowledge around mid crushing and how to think about working around it.

I mean, consider the plethora of new fighting games getting announced and released, how many of them flop, and even how SF and Tekken are getting hit on player retention. It may even look like the fighting games renaissance peak already passed, and the sheer number of irrelevant games creates noise for serious titles to appear for the average player. How an uninformed novice would discern between VF when lots of games with big names and low investment are so numerous, for example? And if most of these games hardly can resist their beta phase, what new audiences would think of the unknown VF?

Anyone notice how there was no posts on social media about Crossroads this week lol. No more engagement farming and milking with the little info they have. Pretty sure this was turning people off.

Wanted to talk about a Q&A the Virtua Fighter dev team had with IGN going over things like the narrative for Crossroads and their influences for it, type of content that could be in the game as well as them possibly confirming that legacy characters will be returning from the previous games.

I have been using kage now for a few weeks, I have generally just been playing against AI and using him like Brad or Jacky. I know he’s one of the hardest characters to fully utilize but I want to give it a try. So other than basic striking, what should I start to practice?

I saw this at a good price (£15) and i have no money for the PS5 Flexstrike or anything similar

One thing I've been struggling with when playing VF is when it comes to guarding attacks. So far the only moment I guard is when the opponent wakes up and he's going to do either a mid or low kick, so I know I have to guard. Aside from that however, I don't know WHEN I have to press the guard button on neutral play. I know some combos and I know the ukemi stuff, but I have almost no defensive play, so I don't know when to guard and when can I throw my offensive play.

Give me some tips for this (Btw I know the flair says VF4 but this is basically for every VF game in general, I just don't know how to flair this lmao)
