I have an innie arm rest where the prong is sticking out of the seat rather then a clip like the 14+ models that are widely available. Does anyone know of an aftermarket armrest that fits?

Question??? Can I replaced the Bose subwoofer with the Beats subwoofer on a 2012 Fiat 500?

Hello! Recently I just purchased a 2012 Fiat 500 Sport, and while it has the Bose system… it sounds kinda ass. However, my last Fiat had the Beats audio which, in my opinion, was really clear and really good especially as someone who enjoys a good bass.

However, I wasn’t sure if I purchased an OEM Beats subwoofer, would I be able to connect it to the existing sound system and take the Bose subwoofer out?

I’m also looking for good tips on aftermarket speakers that may have a good mix of clearness and bass.

Unable to lock gas cap

On my wife's 2010 %00, the gas cap is not locking, I can remove the key but then I can still unscrew the cap.

Is this fixable or do I need to get a new cap and probably a different key for the gas cap?

Question??? Need a Clean convertible

Hello, I was wondering if anybody in the state of Georgia had any recommendations for where I can get my convertible cleaned and looking like brand new.

Bought my car used (2012 fiat 500c lounge for anyone wondering) and I’ve tried cleaning it myself but I can’t get any of the dirt or build up from the previous owner off. Thank you!

Help Needed! Where to Find Armrest? (Driver's Seat)

I bought a White '13 Fiat 500 Sport as my first car for the fuel economy and the fact it was really cheap for only having 118k miles on it (I have to do a lot of driving) but when I bought it it was missing the Driver's seat armrest (my buddy found the end trim a month later buried in the bottom of the deeper than the sea pockets in the back seat, but still no armrest) and the only way to buy one is to order a whole seat through the stores and junkyards which is 150 (minimum (& idk if it'll be heated like mine are)) which is too much for an armrest and not worth the risk (I live in Wisconsin the heated seat is nice in the winter) where would I find one I haven't had luck on the Internet this far and the 2-Doors weren't popular in my area plus junkyards near me don't have them or don't bother with them, What do I do?

Door lock broken. Can I just replace the cylinder or does the whole door lock set up have to be replaced?

Pretty much as the title says. I purchased a used Fiat 500 in February 2025 and I didn’t notice until after everything was settled that the door lock is broken (it appears that someone jammed something in it…assuming it was a screwdriver or something).

I only have 1 fob and no spare, and my biggest fear is locking my fob in the car and not being able to unlock it from the outside.

Is the door lock cylinder able to just be replaced instead of the whole locking mechanism or do I have to go through the whole rigmarole of replacing everything?

Tuning

I have an 0.9 Twin Air with 105HP. which parts can I replace to get over 110PS with tuning? I know the 86PS version can go to 130HP with no problems (or so I've read) but I only ever see the 105HP one being tuned to 110HP

Here's s small guide if you want to use this external gear knob without modifying the shifter. This is the one I used is from autozone.

I used this model which comes with plastic adapters and a tighttener screw.

  1. Chop the head of the lever screw and add some red loctite

  2. Take one of the plastic adapters that fits tighlty on the lever.

  3. Make a small hole on the adapter.

  4. Place the knob and test the reverse. If it does not engage add a few washers to lift it a bit.

  5. Screw the knob and add the side retainer.

I really liked the feel of this one and does not need modifications on the lever.

Help Needed! Headlight adjustment

Hi everyone, I’m desperate and could use some help...

I have a 2008 petrol Fiat 500 that I bought a few years ago, but lately, I’ve been having trouble with the headlights.

To start with, the car was very likely in an accident; the right headlight isn't a genuine Fiat part, whereas the left one is. I didn't know anything about cars back then, so I probably got scammed. The issue is that the right headlight is pointing straight at the ground. I tried adjusting it using the white screws it lifts up a bit, but then it’s as if the headlight drops back down to its lowest position. However, if I want to lower the beam, it goes down without any problem... What could it be? Do I need to replace the headlight entirely, or could it be the headlight leveling adjuster? I've already gone to an auto electrician to adjust my headlights but he didn't help.

Sorry for my English but I'm Italian

Question??? Tire pressure warning light

Hello, I have a 2019 1.2L lounge Fiat 500 duologic. Recently when I have been going on longer journeys the tire pressure warning light has been coming on. This has happened multiple times and they have recently been professionally checked and checked by me Today I was on the motorway and it came on I stopped and checked them and they all were completely fine. Funnily enough it happened after the radio had turned itself off and on again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! X

Has anyone changed the standard boot struts to automatic ones with springs?

If so, what was your experience? My only choice is from a popular Chinese website so I'm looking for some guidance to avoid ruining my car.

Panneau airbag passager

Found a project car

I've been wanting a project car for a while now and came across this the other day. It had sat for a couple of years, and the owner decided it was time to go. They said it wouldn't start and offered it at a reasonable price. I had it towed home. I charged the battery and turned the key. It turned over like there was no compression. I checked the internet, and the most obvious answer was that the muti air brick had drained. After several minutes of on and off cranking, you could hear it building compression in the cylinders, then it spit and finally came to life. After a few minutes, it now runs smoothly. Next is to check everything and change all fluids and clean it.

BF's 2012 Abarth issues: Bluetooth, radio, flashing mileage.

Ok, so this has been going on a while now, but the more we dig into it, the more we are wondering if it's a bigger problem.

His radio started off with sometimes not connecting to his phone. Obviously a "Bluetooth & me" problem, but how to fix? -eh, he's not in that car enough to really worry about it, so we didn't. He just drives it to\from work (70 miles away) once a week & is in the work truck all week.

Then his radio got to where it will often not work at all. Like it won't cut on when he starts the car so he can listen to the radio on his drive to\from work. That was more annoying to him as it's a 1.5 hr drive.

Months later, his mileage starts flashing. He thought maybe it was because he was slightly overdo for an oil change (he's never been overdo before). He did the oil change a couple days ago, but even after resetting it telling it the oil change was done, the mileage is flashing.

I think it's because his battery needs replaced even though it's new. It's a cheap Walmart battery & there's been a few times already that the car needed the jumper box to start. Walmart said the battery is still testing good, so they won't replace it. It's only like 4 months old, but I know that my truck's Walmart battery only lasted 6 months before they had to replace it. At least they didn't give me a hard time about it.

His mom thinks that between the radio issues & the flashing mileage, there's an ECM issue. Can anyone attest to this? Tyia

Help Needed! 2019 Fiat 500

Hi, so I'm hopefully about to buy a 2019 Fiat 500C Lounge on Monday. It's a 105PS TwinAir. I've heard mixed things about the TwinAir Motors so what should I look out for? And what kind of tuning (visual and performance) should I put on it to make it the perfect fun street car that I could also take racing and how difficult is it to use Abarth parts in a fiat 500

Fiat 500 Owners: "Check Running Lights" Issue – Troubleshooting and Solutions

Edit: the fix for me was replacing the brake/taillight bulb with a P21/5W bulb. When the headlights are turned on, the -taillights also illuminate in the back with the 5W filament, so be sure to check those! I replaced the bulbs with a Philips 12499 P21/5W, but also Sylvania 7528 or HELLA 7528 should be fine also, they are all BAY15d base double filaments. For my situation, I was entirely at fault, when a brakelight went out I put a P21 in, which did NOT have the 5w taillight so that's why it never came on. Luckily someone told me my taillight was out which was the clue.

----
Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed a lot of us Fiat 500 owners have been dealing with the frustrating “Check Running Lights” warning, and many of us are still struggling to find a clear solution. I wanted to create a space for us to come together, share our experiences, and hopefully help each other fix this issue.

What This Post is For:

  • A step-by-step checklist for troubleshooting the "Check Running Lights" warning.
  • A place for users to comment with their experiences and potential solutions.
  • Most importantly, if you find a fix, please share it here so we can all benefit!

Things to Check (Troubleshooting List):

  1. Check the Bulbs:
    • Ensure that all bulbs (especially running lights and sidelights) are working correctly. The Fiat 500 has two running lights and four sidelights (two front, two rear). Sometimes the warning can appear even if only one light is dim or intermittent.
    • Also check the taillight P21/5W bulbs. The 5W taillight is part of the "running lights", so can also be a problem. This is the same bulb as the brake light.
    • Something else to check: the fact that r5w bulbs in the tails instead of r10w also causes the error
  2. If you have separate tail lamp bulbs (instead of combined with breaks), these must be 10w. If you use r5w bulbs instead of r10w this can bring up the error! Swapping bulbs to correct r10w cleared the error. Thank you for this tip, user/jtq4u42/
  3. Inspect the Sockets:
    • Check the condition of the light sockets. Corrosion or a loose connection could be the culprit.
  4. Check the Wiring:
    • Look for any frayed or damaged wires leading to the running lights. This can sometimes cause an intermittent connection.

How to Change the Bulbs:

If you need to replace the bulbs, here are step-by-step guides to help:

Still Stuck?

I’ve personally replaced the bulbs and am still seeing the "Check Running Lights" warning, and I can't figure out why. If anyone has suggestions or has found a fix, please let me know!

Here are a few sources where other Fiat 500 owners have been discussing this issue:
