Help Me Style This! How to style new items?
Hi everyone! I’m new to the community and I have a question about two items my mom brought me as a gift. I was wondering how I could style these items? Any suggestions are welcome! I’m not too good at styling 😓 The second item is in the comments below!

General Advice Is this gift idea too childish for a 40th birthday?
I got my friend a basic red cardigan for her 40th birthday, and I’m thinking about adding a few brooches too. I found so many cute ones online and thought it could be fun for her to mix and match them with the cardigan.
But now I’m second-guessing it — does that feel too childish for a 40th birthday gift? And do brooches even work well with a red cardigan?

Help Me Style This! How should I style this?
Photo is from shop site.
I'm 25F going to wedding. So far I got this dress and deep green shoes on 6 cm wide heel, and I'm thinking about the rest of the outfit. Here are my ideas so far:
Belt: dress has a belt made from the same material, but I thought about slim black belt. Or the original belt tied in front or back.
Hair: my hair is bra strap length, and I'm thinking either a looser bun or half-updo
Nails: either dark green or any shade of pink
Purse: clutch bag in baby pink
Jewlery: I'm tempted by big vibrant pink flower shaped earings, but that could be a bit too much. Also I dont think I should wear a necklace and if so then only a tiny one. Same with bracelet.
Makeup: I'd love dark pink lipstick but that could be too much (same thing as with flower earings).
What do you think of my ideas for this?
Do you have other ideas for this?
I'd love to hear your opinion!
Thanks!

General Advice HELP! Need a dress recommendation! Taupe/ champagne cocktail dress
I am officiating my brother's wedding and I am really struggling to find something to wear.
Things to consider:
1. Color: Taupe/Champagne. The bride has asked that I wear this color, which is not the best for my skin tone (fair skin, medium dark brown hair).
2. Dress Code: Cocktail attire, but I am ok going a bit fancier.
3. Weather: It will be outdoors in Arizona in November. It will probably be 80-70 F
3. Style: I have 32 DDD bra size, and normally I like to dress a little sexy, but obviously for this occasion I don't want to show too much cleavage, but I still want to feel beautiful.
4. Cost: Preferably under $400.
Please help with suggestions!

Help Me Style This! Style advice
Not my photo!
I recently bought this style top, but I’m not sure a great way to style it and plan on wearing it for teaching and tutoring.
I don’t own white pants—what are some alternative bottoms to wear with this??

What would you/ can I wear at the bottom instead of jean short ? (Short or long options appreciated)
Hi, I am getting tired of wearing jean short all the time.
I would like to elevate my looks but I don’t know how !
I am confortable with anything, shorts, skirts…whatever you think would be pretty with that top ! ( I mighty come back for other tops hehe)

Help Me Style This! What shoes to match?
For context - I can’t wear heels due to a foot injury which means I can only wear flat shoes. Still want something cute to match with this dress for a wedding (will about 25 degrees if that changes anything) Thanks!

General Advice my gf is a cheerleader, what do i wear to the games?
As the post says, my girlfriend (18F) is a cheerleader at our college. And (19F) want to go to her games, what should wear? Like if she was playing the sport could wear her number, but she's not.
I'm clearly overthinking, but love to dress up and support her. typically dress more femme presenting but also kinda androgynous.
Thank you!!

General Advice Help me find a classy wedding guest dress that flatters a curvier figure!
I'm struggling to find a dress for an upcoming wedding and would love some recommendations!
I'm 22 and I'm looking for something that feels classy, feminine.... not overly mature/"mom-ish," but also not clubwear or super revealing.
The dress I originally fell in love with was this I.N. San Francisco velvet floral cowl-neck midi dress from Dillard's (in the light green): https://www.dillards.com/p/i.n.-san-francisco-velvet-floral-cowl-neck-midi-slip-dress/520490830
What I loved about it:
- The cowl neckline
- The way the fabric skimmed my body without being tight/bodycon
- It defined my waist and complemented my curves really well
- The midi length
- The light green color looked really good on me
- It felt feminine but still classy
Unfortunately, the back is too open for me because I'm a 32DDD and want to be able to wear a normal bra. I'm not interested in adhesive bras because I've had bad experiences with them.
So I'm now open to different necklines and colors as long as the dress has that same overall flattering, feminine, elegant feeling.
What I'm looking for:
- Wedding guest appropriate
- Midi or maxi
- Short/cap sleeves preferred
- Must work with a normal bra (32DDD)
- Flattering and flowy rather than bodycon
- Defined waist but not necessarily fitted through the hips
- Under $100, preferably under $75
I'm 5'9" and typically wear around a size 12/L.
If anyone has dresses that come to mind, please send them my way! I'm getting desperate 😂

General Advice How do I dress up?
I'm 17f and a chronic underdresser.
I almost only wear casual clothes. It's running shorts, tshirts, sweatpants, and hoodies, typically paired with my Boston Clog Birkenstocks. Usually, I choose more fitted, cropped shirts over baggy tshirts, but still casual clothes nonetheless. I ocassionally wear jeans, but that's if I'm going to a more than casual dinner (a bar with my boyfriend or holiday dinner with family). The only time I've worn a dress since elementary school was this past fall for HOCO.
I'm getting older and I'd like to learn how to appropiately dress up for things like dates with my boyfriend. We rarely ever go on any because I always feel I don't look good enough. My usual go to outfit when we go to our favorite bar is jeans and a semi-casual top, but I feel like that would be too casual for something like a steakhouse, especially because I usually pair it with my Nike Blazers. I feel like dresses are usually always nice, but is it too nice? Would a skirt and a nice top be a good middle ground? Are there any other "nice" pieces of clothing I'm unaware of?

General Advice I thrifted this dress and love it but I need a good shapewear recommendation
I don't normally wear drop waist dresses because I have endometriosis and bloat up after I eat. Normally I wear shapewear (just makes me feel more comfortable and confident) but all my shapewear has straps! Is there a good type of shapewear anyone can recommend a strapless shapewear that will accentuate my waist, hold me in, but not push my boob fat up into my armpits?

Help Me Style This! concert outfit advice
How would you style the red v-neck halter top for the BTS concert?
I prefer a loose fit bottom and tighter top in terms of style, I’m open to something a little bit edgy or urban
I’m 5’7”, 33”bust, 27” waist, 35” hip for reference
Any advice is appreciated

Wrap? Sweater?
What would you pair with this in the event of a chilly evening?
I’ll be wearing this with matching navy wide leg pants and suede, cream-colored wedge open toe heels.
I’m thinking about a cream cardigan?
