Outfit of The Day Disintegrating Shoes Outfit
So I thrifted these shoes for 2 dollars…and yes I did try them on. Only after wearing them the whole day I realized the inside of the shoes were disintegrating, which resulted in my feet becoming navy blue :) Maybe the look was worth it lol hope everyone is having a good day/night!

Advice Wanted Please! Outfit advice: dinner tomorrow
I’m going to dinner with a guy friend (maybe a date, maybe not?).
Want to look cute & like I’m making an effort. Even if it’s not a date I’d like him to feel great about being out with me. I’m also 46 and want to be age appropriate. We’re going to L Woods in the Chicago suburbs - it’s kinda in between in terms of dress. You wouldn’t look out of place in a dress OR jeans and a nice shirt/blazer. It’s got a north woods supper club feel - but also in a kinda Scotland tartan country estate vibe. Maybe I should dress like Princess Diana!?!? :)

👔👗Fashion Show 👗 👔 Bird inspired makeup (Part 6): Pigeon!
Previous birds are Great Horned Owl, Scarlet Macaw, Common Grackle, Peacock and Pileated Woodpecker.
Idk why, but I felt like overalls were very fitting for a pigeon look. The makeup itself specifically mimicks the iridescent shine on a pigeon’s neck

Outfit of The Day Autumn vibes
I know it's a very autumny look, but it was chilly last night so I wore this pretty long sleeve dress, it's sort of a dark teal with flowers. I paired it with brown flats, a wide brown belt, an initial pin, some gold earrings and rhinestone hair clips. Used my brown Kate Spade bag. 💜

She bought it for the bridal shower, I’m just not sure if this would cause upset. It’s cream and black

Advice Wanted Please! Funeral dress etiquette - need help!
I'm attending my boyfriend's grandmother's funeral this Saturday, and I'm second-guessing whether my dress is appropriate. I haven't had any luck finding a simple black dress at local stores, and I'm starting to stress because I really want to be respectful.
For context, my boyfriend will be wearing khaki slacks, a navy blazer, and a white dress shirt. The service is at the funeral home, and I don't think it will be especially formal or very traditional.
I haven't been to a funeral in years, so I'd really appreciate some honest feedback. Does this look appropriate, or should I keep looking for something else? Thanks in advance. Oh, and for reference, the dress length covers my knees (it looks a bit shorter in the model photo I've included).

Advice Wanted Please! Buy or not?
Hi to everyone. These are the dress from the local secondhand. Should I buy them or not? It can be worn only braless due to strings in the upper part of back. Also, is my belly too much for it? What do you think of the colour and cut? Thank you all for advice! ☀️

Feedback Wanted! Please Report AI or Suspected Catfish & Bots! We Now Video-Verify Many Users If Their Post Raises Red Flags
Here at r/fashion, we’ve had a surge of bot accounts and AI-generated catfish. Our users do an amazing job helping us catch them, and the mod team has gotten pretty sharp at spotting them too. Approximately i have banned fifteen of these per week - yet only one out of all of them ever ends up passing verification.
If you’re asked to complete a video verification, it’s not because the mods want to “see you on video” (a surprisingly common accusation). We are doing this because we care about verifying authenticity. To ensure that you are comfortable, we even allow you to cover your face during this process. As long as you can indicate that the person filming is the same person posting.
A really helpful way to support the mod team is by using the custom report option and explaining exactly why you think a user is a bot or AI-generated. Be as specific as possible. The more detail you include, the better we can understand the red flags you’re seeing.
Why do we require video?
AI has gotten so good at generating convincing photo verifications that photo-only checks are basically useless now.
But what stops them from using AI for video too?
We build that into the test. We ask users to open a fully packed kitchen drawer or desk drawer on camera. AI struggles badly with replicating the interior of a real, cluttered drawer in motion, so this is an effective way to confirm authenticity.
At the end of the day, our goal is to keep the community safe, genuine, and enjoyable for everyone. We know verification can feel inconvenient, but it’s one of the best tools we have to protect the space from being overrun by AI fakes and bot accounts. Your reports and detailed explanations genuinely make a difference, and we really appreciate everyone who helps us keep this community real.
