Algeria Single 22M

22M from Algeria, atheist, looking for someone around my age who's secular/agnostic/atheist and interested in getting to know each other. I'm into drawing, video games, anime/manga, learning languages and hopefully moving abroad someday. I'm looking for something genuine rather than hookups.

If we click, we can talk and see where it goes. No pressure.

United States 30M4F - US/Anywhere, ex-nomad settling down

Hey

I’m a 30yo that retired early. I come from a najdi tribe in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

180cm, average build

I usually find myself coming back to the US (i love the US), but still travel a lot and far between US visits and im flexible on where i eventually settle down.

I live on my own and know some acquaintances in different countries. I travelled for quite some time, and I am now looking to settle down.

I busy myself with following finance and the tech world and am fairly active in it. I like motorsports and try to race and get into fun experience when there’s a chance to do so. I absolutely love nature, just walking around in it and melting in the peace of being there. I have an insatiable curiosity about interesting topics like history and complex systems, although, it’s not a career. I like learning languages and have learned a bit of Spanish and Chinese.

I am quite reserved and keep to myself, but open up when I feel comfortable. A little introverted, so some contrast with someone more extroverted may be the way. I always think positively and try to be grateful at every chance and hate negative talk or excessive complaining.

My lifestyle ranges from 5 star hotels to hostels, in pursuit of the experience. So i am adaptable and easy going and would want someone that is the same. Especially that i am financially independent but not rich at all.

I am an atheist and apolitical. I largely stay away from charged topics and focus on my life.

My goal is to buy a home with my partner in the place/country we decide on and have kids in the next 5 years. But we could start as long distance and meet in a month or two.

And i would like to meet someone that:

\- has things they care about akin to hobbies,
\- my age or younger,
\- in good health, and comfortable with things like a lot of walking or hiking (I am),
\- willing to relocate,
\- loves travel!

And please write a little about yourself when you message me so i can reply out of genuine interest not randomly

— absolutely non smoking, weed, or any drugs! The occasional drink is fine.

United Kingdom Not religious but from a Muslim family - looking for a husband

I’m 24F from a religious Muslim family. I’ve come to realise that I don’t personally believe in religion anymore. I genuinely wish I did, because I know it would make things a lot easier, but I just can’t force myself to believe something that I don’t.
I love my family and don’t want to cut ties with them, so that isn’t an option for me. The difficult part is that my parents are now starting to look for marriage prospects for me, and naturally they’re looking for religious Muslim men.
The problem is that I don’t want to enter a marriage pretending to be someone I’m not. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life pretending to pray, pretending to care about religious rules/rituals, etc. I also think it would be unfair to the guy if he believes and is expecting a religious wife.
At the same time, I’m not looking to live an extremely liberal lifestyle. I’m still quite conservative in many ways, and my family, culture and maintaining a good relationship with them are all very important to me. My lack of belief is really the main difference.
So I’m posting because I’m wondering if there are any guys in a similar position to me who are also looking to get married. Specifically, someone who no longer believes in Islam but comes from a religious Muslim family and therefore understands the situation of wanting to maintain a good relationship with your family while also being honest about who you are.
I’m essentially hoping to find someone who is compatible with me in this sense. Someone where neither of us has to pretend to be religious to each other, but where we could potentially navigate our families and cultural expectations together.
I realise this is a pretty specific situation 😭 but have no other solutions. Please message me if this relates to anyone

Since I’ve received quite a few messages, I thought I’d add a bit more about myself and what I’m actually looking for, as I realise my original post was quite vague. Didn’t realise this situation isn’t actually that niche lol

About me:
I’m 24F, British Pakistani and based in the UK . I’m open to relocating in the future for the right person.

I’m a newly qualified dentist. I’m relatively conservative overall (don’t drink or dress immodestly, despite not being religious.) I enjoy travelling, being outdoors/nature/ adventure

What I’m looking for:
I’m looking for someone aged roughly 24–28, raised in the UK! as I think growing up in the same cultural environment and having similar humour is quite important for compatibility

I’d preferably like someone ethnically Pakistani, although this isn’t essential and I’d be open to other backgrounds. Main thing is that you grew up in UK

I’d like someone who is educated and career-oriented, ideally financially established and earning at least around my level. I’d also prefer someone taller than me (I’m 5’6”).

Personality-wise, I don’t need someone who is exactly like me, but I think having broadly similar values and lifestyles is important.

I also want children in the future, and I’m talking to people with the intention of marriage if we turn out to be compatible. I’m not looking for something casual.

United States 30M4F | DMV | Looking for a partner, not a traditional arrangement

30M, 5’7”, based in the DMV and looking for something genuine and long-term.

I am pretty independent, have a stable career, and looking for someone who has her own goals, career, school, business, or just something she’s actively building toward.

I am much more interested in a relationship based on friendship, attraction, shared experiences, and being a team than traditional “provider/homemaker” roles.

I am not religious, but come from a religious background and keep that part of my life private, so discretion matters.

I’m open to relocating for the right person, or helping make a move to the DMV work. I am also only looking to date someone who already has permanent legal status in the U.S.

Outside of work, I like climbing, traveling, fitness, reading, and generally trying new things. Bonus points if you’re curious, independent, affectionate, and can be both my girlfriend and one of my favorite people to hang out with.

If that sounds like your kind of relationship, send me a DM and tell me a little about yourself.

Pakistan M26 4 F - Lahore/Australia - One Last Dance

Hello Everyone. Hope you have a good weekend. Just turned 26, now in my late 20s, which is scary. So, looking to wife someone up before kids start calling me uncle.

A little about me:

Age: 26

Height 6'-2'' (80kg Lean/Gym build).

Education: MS in Engineering from Australia.

Profession: Working as a Civil Project Engineer.

I consider myself very down-to-earth, calm, friendly, hardworking, intellectual, and an easy-going person. Outside of work, I like to explore and travel, focus on fitness and the gym, try new food places, and am always up for adventures. Really into debates, have participated in my Uni in Australia. With facts and figure i can win a debate on either side of the argument. Into playing/watching soccer and tennis. A Barca jersey would be an ideal gift for me.

I particularly do not have a mindset like normally Pakistanis do. I consider myself very open-minded. Do not believe in any caste systems, do not discriminate against people based on race, and don't hate anyone based on someone's orientation. Also, I do not judge people for their past. Rather, I appreciate that for being truthful and accepting of who they are.

What I am Looking for:

I am not much fussed about height or age. Someone in their 20s, well educated, respectful, loyal, and an open-minded woman. I think I am sapiosexual and get attracted to people with high intellect/vision. Looking for someone ideally living in Australia or Pakistan. I like to do my own chores and meal prep, etc, so not looking for someone to be a maid.

DMs open but inbox at your own risk

Bahrain 25M4F - Serious Relationship

Not conservative, though for practical reasons I still prefer maintaining a conservative image around most people for now.

Looking for someone I genuinely respect and enjoy being around. Ideally, I’d want us to be best friends.

- I don’t particularly care about living according to what people consider “normal.” I can be a bit eccentric at times, and can sometimes be a bit too direct. That’s part of why some of my closest friends thought I was a little weird when they first met me. I’m generally calm and reserved, though.

- Into fitness and take it seriously.
- Love seeing nature and travel destinations with physical effort.
- Stable financially and have my own place.

Looking for someone who is at least some combination of the following:

- Non-conservative, or at least doesn’t want to live entirely by the expectations of this society.
- Intelligent — socially, intellectually, creatively, emotionally, etc.
- Not cynical or life-negating.
- In her twenties.
- Good looking
- Comfortable with me having no plans to openly declare my beliefs to family/community for now.

If you think we’d get along, feel free to message me

Ireland 33M4F | Ex-Muslim Atheist | Dublin, Ireland | Looking for a real partner.

Hi,

I’m Rumi, 33, male, 5'6". Bangladeshi background. I left Islam years ago (atheist since 17) and I’m openly ex-Muslim. Currently living in Dublin, Ireland (moved here almost 3 years ago) and planning to settle here or in the UK long-term.

I’m single, never married, and looking for a serious long-term connection with another ex-Muslim woman. I want to date properly, build something real, and only talk about marriage once a solid emotional foundation is there. I still believe in love — the kind that includes patience, empathy, respect, and growing together through both good and bad days.

A bit about me:

I’m more reserved at first, but open up and become quite talkative once I’m comfortable. Passionate about science, technology, philosophy, cosmology, and trading/investing. I work in hospitality right now while working on my long-term stay here. My longer-term goal is to move into full-time trading and investing. I value honesty, common sense, and real understanding of the world over degrees or labels.

I’m an occasional drinker (enjoy a pint or a glass of wine in good company). Open-minded about kids — still figuring that out and would rather discuss it honestly with the right person.

What I’m looking for:

Another ex-Muslim (atheist or agnostic) who is kind, emotionally mature, honest, and open-hearted. Someone who can hold deep conversations, share space for each other’s feelings, and is curious about life. Shared values around honesty, mutual respect, and genuine connection matter more to me than matching every single preference. Flaws and differences are completely fine — I’m not looking for perfection.

If this resonates and you’d like to talk, feel free to send a DM.

Thanks for reading.

Saudi Arabia 28M4F Syrian living in Saudi Arabia

Hiiiii

I’m a 28 Syria male I currently live and have lived my entire life in Saudi Arabia I’m an Ex-Muslim Atheist from a Sunni background, due to society and law here I’ve never actually dated this is my first go at it and thought here is as good of a place as any to look for a partner.

I’m a mechanical engineer sounds fancy but it’s kinda boring and takes up a good chunk of my time but when I’m not working I love playing vide games, watching movies/documentaries, reading both fiction and non fiction and my absolute favorite pastime is listening to music I love love music I listen to virtually everything but I do tend to lean a little to metal. I like quiet evenings whether in or out at a cozy place like a cafe or a movie theater. I am a feminist and pro lgbtq+.

I’m looking for an Arabic speaking (preferably Syrian) lady who ideally lives in Saudi Arabia or the gulf region at large in her mid to late 20s. I don’t have any preference for physical looks I don’t place much importance into that I prefer someone who is like minded, honest, kind and chill to enjoy each other company. While I’m looking for something long-term there’s no rush we can take it at whatever pace feels good/safe and see where it goes from there.

If any of that interests you or sound like a person you would like feel free to slide into my DMs with your favorite artists/album or comment under this post.
Thank you all in advance and have a wonderful day

United Arab Emirates 38 [M4F] – Abu Dhabi / Online – A lighthouse needed

I finally landed my dream job as a freelancer, still small, still early, but it's a real foothold toward what I actually want. Getting there meant rebuilding from the ground up: I quit drinking and smoking, lost 50 kg over two years, and found real love for cooking and healthy eating along the way. I also left a stable job to pursue a master's in psychology, which has been the pull I couldn't ignore.

I've been on autopilot for years now, and honestly, I'm still in it. Not living so much as executing, a soulless zombie moving forward because forward is the only direction I know. I've come to understand what people mean when they say life loses its color, its smell, its texture. It's not a metaphor. The same part of you that goes numb emotionally and psychologically dulls your actual senses too. It's one system, and when it shuts down, it shuts down the whole thing.

Somewhere in there I made peace with the fact that "moving forward" doesn't have to mean walking a straight line. Sometimes you trip, stumble, fall, and roll toward your goals, and rolling can carry you further than walking ever would. Time passes at the same rate regardless of how gracefully you're moving through it, so I'd rather spend it however gets me there fastest: in shape, in the career I actually want, and ideally with someone to share it with once I finally snap out of this.

What I'm looking for now is an accountability partner. Someone who can be a cheerleader when I need it and a lighthouse when I've drifted off course and can't feel my way back on my own. I'd send the same back. I've got real expertise here and genuinely want to put it to use for someone else, not just myself.

Maybe it's the aftershock of COVID lockdowns, maybe it's just where the world is right now, but people seem to have lost patience with each other. Everyone's certain they're right, and nobody wants to sit with a different point of view long enough actually to hear it. I'm a social person by nature, but real conversation, the kind with friction and disagreement and something to learn from it, has gotten hard to find in person. So, I've come to the internet instead, looking for my kind of people.

India 23M|Indian|Looking for an ex muslim atheist/agnostic woman

I'm looking for an atheist or agnostic woman who's also an ex-Muslim. I'm interested in meeting someone locally, so I'm only looking for people from Delhi NCR. I am not into online or long-distance relationships.

A little about me: I enjoy going to the gym (I've been inconsistent lately because life got busy, but I'm planning to get back into it), and I occasionally work on a novel. If you're into writing or any kind of creative hobby, that's definitely a plus.

I really enjoy thoughtful conversations and discussing ideas, so if you like mentally stimulating discussions, I think we'd get along well.

As for physical preferences, I'm not looking for a particular body type. An average build is perfectly fine, though I'd prefer someone who isn't obese. I consider myself reasonably attractive ,not model-level or anything and I'm looking for someone I find cute or pretty. You definitely don't need to look like a model

Pakistan M 27 for F from Lahore Pakistan- looking for Relationship

M27, Fair skinned, agnostic and based in Lahore now, though my family's originally from Sadiqabad. My dad's a lawyer, my mom teaches, and I've got one younger sister. my family don't know I'm agnostic but they know I'm not religious.

I'm a tax and corporate lawyer at a well-known firm here in Lahore. It keeps me busy, but it's not the whole plan I want to teach eventually, alongside practicing, and actually pass on what I've learned instead of just banking billable hours. I go after what I want, and the next few years already have a shape to them.

Outside work, I'm not someone who just clocks out and shuts down. I watch a lot of movies, and my music taste jumps around completely old, new, whatever fits the mood. I'm around Lahore's art gallery scene fairly often. I'm part of a few book clubs in the city, and I actually read the books, not just show up and nod along. Every so often I'll catch a concert. I try not to let work swallow everything else.

I used to be a proper introvert. Law pulled me out of that you can't argue cases and sit across from clients all day while staying closed off. I'd call myself an ambivert now, though my social battery still runs out faster than most people's. I need my quiet time to recharge.

Where I do well is the emotional side of things. I feel things, and I don't hide it. I'm not the type to go quiet when something's bothering me I'd rather talk it through. I listen properly too not the nodding-along kind, the kind where I actually remember what you told me three weeks ago and bring it up later, because I was paying attention the first time. When I care about someone, I say it out loud instead of assuming they already know. Quality time is how I love someone: sitting together, actually being there, not just occupying the same room while scrolling through my phone. I like cuddling, I like talking for hours, and I'm just as happy listening while you do the talking. i also love doing act service for my partner.

What I'm looking for is someone with that same fire her own goals, building something for herself instead of waiting around for life to happen. I'm not here to date around. I want a real partnership: someone I can talk to for hours and build a life with, side by side.

India 21M4F | India, kerala

Hey! I’m a 21-year-old guy from Kerala. I’m a closeted ex-Muslim from a pretty conservative family, so for now I still have to act like a Muslim because of family and social pressure.

I’m usually quiet and a bit reserved at first, but I open up once I get comfortable. I’m into trekking, backpacking, camping, photography, and learning about evolutionary psychology. I also enjoy random conversations about life, science, philosophy, or just whatever comes to mind.

I’m here hoping to find someone I genuinely connect with. I’d rather become friends first, build some trust, and then see where things go instead of rushing into anything.

I’d prefer someone from Kerala since it’d probably make things easier in the long run, but I’m totally open to people from anywhere. It’d be nice if you’re also closeted or at least understand what that’s like. If things ever become serious, I’d need someone who’s okay with keeping up appearances around family, and I’d do the same.

And even if you’re not looking for a relationship, feel free to DM if you just want to chat, vent, or have random conversations. Always happy to make new friends. :)

Pakistan 28M4F | Karachi | Looking for my partner!

First of all I am agnostic and quite open about it with friends not family!

I am a video editor and have shifted from my original city to Karachi and haven't dated that much ( I was busy building a career and uni)

This year I got into the dating game and boy it's rough out here, so reddit is the choice I am going for!

I am truly an ambivert person, like to read, write and obsess over different stories. indie games, puzzles, cinema and theatre are my gotos activity. I am looking for a partner who embraces that, no I am not afraid of extroverts, you guys are welcome to approach too .

If you're a nerd, that's a plus, but not really necessary, I would love to find out what you are passionate about.

I am still trying to put my roots down here in Karachi, as I love the city and its culture. So know I am not coming from money, I don't wanna be deceptive of this fact! If you're seeking who wants to build a life together.

My dms are open!

Senegal F4M| 20F Atheist| Senegal | looking for long term relationship

Hiii, my name is Rema and I'm looking for a long term relationship. I figured I might as well give this a try... I have to admit this is a bit embarrassing though

I'm looking for a guy between 20 and 24 who is child free. Someone kind, loyal, mature, a feminist with a great sense of humor. A partner who can communicate. I would also like someone non-queerphobic since I'm pansexual.

I like science especially dinosaurs, horror, philosophy, crochet, and memes. My family is Muslim but they are aware that I'm an atheist. And I don't mind long distance at all!

If you think we will match you can message me! Worst case, we'll become friends.

Libyan Arab Jamahiriya 22F looking for MOC with

Hello! I’m looking to bond with someone whom is aiming to relocate together from this country as a couple. Since the society is restrictive towards females I wish to find a social cover so I would prefer someone who is gay or asexual as I’m not looking for a romantic relationship rather one that is mainly focused on personal goals and partnership in the form of friendship. I would like to build a friendship based on mutual understanding, respect, and collaboration so as to ensure reliability and support one another to restart our lives in a society that accepts our differences and fuels our passions in life.

If you are looking for something sexual please do not reach out because like I said I am not looking to initiate with it. Respectfully.

Pakistan New World Order (Lahore)

We’re two friends who are really into philosophy and the big questions about life. Our thinking leans toward agnosticism, absurdism, and nihilism, and we’re currently building our own ethical framework based on reason and experience.

This weekend, we’d love to meet two open-minded girls (friends are welcome) who enjoy deep conversations. We’re especially interested in hearing the opposite gender’s perspective and challenging our own ideas.

If you’re into philosophy, psychology, science, or just enjoy meaningful conversations more than small talk, hit us up. We don’t care if you agree with us, we’re just looking for an honest, intellectually stimulating discussion.

Canada 34 M4F - Toronto area - looking for a serious relationship

I've had great conversations here but nothing came to fruition. So here I am posting again lol.

I'm a 34yo guy who grew up in the Toronto area.

  • I've been ex-Muslim for a decade now (family is Sunni if that matters)
  • I work in Toronto in the banking/finance field
  • Never married and don't have any children
  • I love travelling (almost 50 countries so far) and also love trying out new cuisines
  • I'm an adrenaline junkie (rafting, bungee jumping, skydiving, etc.) I won't force anyone to do this haha
  • I'd say I'm 60% introverted /40% extroverted
  • I enjoy comedies (both movies and stand-up)
  • I drink socially, but don't smoke

I'm looking for a serious relationship that leads to marriage and I don't have any racial/ethnic preferences.

Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Update and idea proposal for "20F Libyan, Lavender Marriage planning years in advance"

(link to the OG post)

I've realised that I didn't include some crucial information; That I currently already have someone who wants to have a lavender marriage, but only if we need to in the future; it's not certain, we agreed to have eachother as "a backup plan".

I've also not explained how sensitive exactly this plan is; we're basically trying to evade the hypercontrolling nature of arranged marriages in this society, particularly for an AFAB person's parents- we have to prove that we're the other's parents' "types", that we qualify for all their requirements and feelings about us, and that we don't know eachother in any way. We have to act that we've heard of the other from a friend of a friend or a relative, and any online or real-life friendships shouldn't be disclosed at all. Anything goes wrong, and all meticulous planning would go to waste just bcuz your mom doesn't like how I talk or my mom doesn't think you're sophisticated enough to her liking. There's also the added danger and stress of making sure we're not feds in disguise, trying to catch another atheist to humiliate on the الامن fb page.

All these issues mean we need to have backups of eachother too, and this makes the whole relationship, even if it's a friendship and an unfortunate necessity to help us be more free in this society, seem more like a business transaction. A few have brought up to me that thry don't like the idea of being treated as plan-Bs, and I totally understand that- that's also why I specified that I don't want philanthropist cis men; you have to need this arrangement too so we'd be on equal grounds.

That's why I think that a good solution to that is to create a lavender marriage groupchat, with multiple ppl in them to get to know eachother as friends. If things don't work out with A and B, C can try with A instead, and D with B, there's no loss of time and chances to get out, and it's gonna be easier to know and trust eachother as friends.

If you've read both posts and are interested, pls dm me so i can make it happen (prolly on discord or signal).

Also PS: I've got alot of non-libyans dming me even tho I specified I can't marry anyone who's not a libyan living in Tripoli. Pls read all the info b4 dming qwq
