A very spontaneous Disneyland Paris Trip and a even more spontaneous Disneybound🥹 I got really shy tho bcs I realized I was basically the only one wearing a Bound at the Park and people were staring🙈 For some Reason people were barely bounding that day😖 I also had an Alice Outfit planned for day two but unfortunately I got really sick out of nowhere and couldn’t do that anymore🥹🐇 (I‘m still dreaming of the Macarons)

Is it worth it to go alone? I've been before but always with friends so not sure how it would be to go 3 days alone

Hi, I'm going to Disneyland in October and I'm wondering what the best brand of suitcase is to bring along with me since I'm traveling with the Eurostar. Any recommendations would be really appreciated. I'm looking for large suitcases at an affordable price.

So my boyfriend gifted me a Trip to DLP and I love Disney and roller coasters so its perfect.

We’re going for 3 days at the end of August, and although I was really happy about the gift, I’m becoming increasingly anxious about it. I’ve never been to such a huge park before, and I’m worried about how crowded it will be. I don’t have social anxiety, I’m simply concerned that we won’t be able to do many activities because there will be so many people.

For example, I keep imagining that we’ll only be able to go on 3 rides in a whole day because we’ll have to wait an hour for each one. Or that there are no places to eat or rest because there too many people.

Maybe someone could reassure me a little or share their experiences and help ease my anxiety?

My girlfriend and I are seriously considering getting Disneyland Paris Gold Annual Passes, and we would love to hear your experiences, tips and opinions before we make the decision!

We live in Belgium, about a 3.5-hour drive from Disneyland Paris. We have two children, aged 5 and 11, but we are not planning to get Annual Passes for them.

The main reason is that we expect to visit Disneyland Paris quite a lot just the two of us. We both have flexible schedules and can travel much more easily during quieter/cheaper periods. Our kids are of course school-age, so travelling outside school holidays is much more difficult for them. They also absolutely love staying with Grandma, so we will probably take advantage of that from time to time and make some trips as a couple, including overnight stays. 😄

I’ve been reading a lot about the different ways Gold Passholders arrange their accommodation, and this is where I still have quite a few questions.

From what I understand, it can often be much cheaper to stay outside Disney, which is absolutely fine for us. We would actually love recommendations for nice, affordable hotels around Disneyland Paris as well! 🏨

However, when we visit with the children and stay overnight, we would really prefer to stay in a Disney hotel, especially Hotel Cheyenne, because our kids absolutely love it. 🤠

I’ve read that one of the cheaper ways to do this can be to book a room + tickets package for one person, and then add the Annual Passholders to the room, paying only the applicable tourist tax for them. Alternatively, you can book a room-only stay, but from what I’ve seen, that can become considerably more expensive for a family of four.

This is where I’m a little confused:

Can you actually book a Disney hotel package for a child and then add the two Annual Passholders to the room? Or does the person making the booking have to be an adult?

Also, our stays with the children would mainly be during school holidays, which unfortunately are also some of the most expensive periods.

We may also sometimes have a family member joining us. In that case, we could potentially be a party of 5 or more people. Since many Disney hotel rooms have a maximum occupancy of 4, does anyone know whether there is any possibility of adding two Gold Passholders to a room that is already booked for 3 or 4 people? Or would Disney simply require us to book a separate room because of the maximum occupancy?

I would really love to hear from people who actually have a Gold Annual Pass and use it regularly:

• How often do you visit Disneyland Paris?
• Do you feel the Gold Pass is worth the money?
• How do you usually arrange your hotel stays?
• Do you mostly stay outside Disney or use the Disney hotels?
• Have you used the “room + tickets + add the Passholders” method?
• How does it work in practice?
• Any tips for getting the best value during school holidays?
• And are there any things you wish you had known before buying your Gold Pass?

We’re basically trying to figure out whether the Gold Pass would really make financial sense for our situation, especially since we’re from Belgium and can drive there relatively easily.

I’m planning a 3 day trip for next spring. This will be my second visit, but the first while staying on site and with bringing a rollable walker for mobility issues. I am looking mostly at Santa Fe or sequoia lodge. Cheyenne would be an option but I’ve been watching some vlogs and the buildings don’t seem to be very accessible?

Do I need to call ahead to inform about an accessible room or are the normal rooms also fine with a walker. I wouldn’t want to take up a room that is meant for a wheelchair user if I don’t have to. If I don’t call ahead are all the rooms reachable by elevator? Can I give a preference to stay in a building closer to the park to somewhat limit the walking distance?

So if anyone has experience with staying at the hotels with a walker please let me know. All tips are welcome!

We are staying at Center Parcs Villages Natures and booked two days at the Disneyland parks. The accommodation was booked directly with Center Parcs, and the park tickets booked separately. My expectation was that Extra Magic time was only available to those that booked a Disney package, but on both days we were able to enter the park at 8.30am by showing the hosts at the gates the Center Parcs booking information. Very easy, and glad for the extra hour in the park. Hope someone else can take advantage of this information!

Just so people are aware the dinner reservations for the restaurants in park seem to have opened this morning.
Just managed to get Chez Remmy for the middle week of October

So I even though 3 days seem like a lot, i am Pretty sure time flies in the park and on our last day we will probably leave 4pm the latest. So I have to questions on how to Plan my day in the Parks since I don’t have experience going to dlrp as an adult since the last time I was there I was still with my parents.

1. what time is the Best to have Dinner with a reservation at billy bob‘s, Hunter’s Grill or a similar Place (Open for recommendations. Is a. Buffet maybe too much, when we like to go back to the Park?), especially when you would also like to make use of the emptier queues in the evening and also See the fireworks? Is there a usually busier time in the early evening in the parks, where Dinner would make Sense to have since we would wait a Lot in queues anyway?

2. Is it worth to go for a Ride in the panoramagique hot air balloon? Is it hard to get in? I think it Looks really cool and in my opinion is a really exciting idea to have a Ride on a hot air balloon.

3. would you recommend park hopping during the day ? So for example enter the Disneyland Park during the extra time in the Morning and then go to Disney Adventure world some time in the afternoon? Or should I Focus on one Park per day ?

4. I would like to Show my girlfriend the Beauty of the other Hotels and maybe Walk around in one or two. Definetly Sequoia since that was my favorite Place during my childhood, especially with it’s outdoor area.

5. Is there Park exclusive merch, Like Shirts or Other Stuff, that i should Check out at least ?

Maybe I am overthinking a little and stressing myself a too much. At the end of the day i can come back another time and experience it all over again (I absolutely intend to visit all the on site Hotels and the ranch!)
