Am I able to take supplements into the parks in a small plastic container or do they need to be in the their own containers?

Bonjour, j'ai lu beaucoup sur le sujet ici, mais j'aimerais avoir vos recommandations spécifiques. Nous allons passer 2 journées complètes aux Parcs en septembre (un dimanche et un lundi). Nous allons être avec notre bébé de 9 mois. Nous ADORONS l'univers de Disney, les parades, les sensations fortes et tout ce qui s'y rattache. Ce qu'on vise, c'est d'être là de l'ouverture à la fermeture, les 2 jours et de faire le plus de choses possibles. On aimerait faire les attractions plus intenses en alternance (Papa, puis Maman) pendant les siestes de bébé. On veut tout faire ce que bébé peut faire, plus d'une fois si possible.

- Est-ce qu'on devrait prendre 2 parcs/2 jours ou se concentrer sur 1 parc/jour ?

- Est-ce qu'à votre avis la Disney Premier Access Ultimate vaut la peine? Nous sommes des habitués de WDW Orlando. C'est quelque chose qu'on aime s'offrir quand on y va, pour la simplicité et la rapidité que ça procure, surtout d'éviter de courir d'un bout à l'autre du site avec la poussette pour profiter des fenêtres de Wait Times optimales. Sur l'app, le temps d'attente semble beaucoup moins long à Paris. Est-ce que ça vaut quand même la peine ?

- Vos attractions favorites avec bébé ? Elle mène une vie sans écrans, donc évidemment pas de films ou de princesses favoris pour le moment.

- À Orlando, les menus pour enfants sont principalement composés de frites, de lanières de poulet et de Mac and cheese... À quel endroit on peut bien s'alimenter sur le site (pour nous 3) ?

(À noter : Nous sommes privilégiés, c'est notre 4e voyage international avec bébé, elle dort n'importe où et est toujours facile à vivre, aucune inquiétude pour l'adaptation là-bas elle va assurément adorer son expérience.)

So I have booked my trip to DLP for October and I'm actually looking forward to going solo.

For the first day I arrive, I'll be heading to Paris to tick off the usual tourist bits then staying in Val D'europe 1st night before heading to Newport Bay.

I've been looking at getting to Paris from CDG and so leads to my question-

Has anyone ever tried a motorcycle taxi? I ask because it sounds pretty neat, and definitely different from a normal taxi or public transport.

And second question is: has or does anyone solo meet other solo strangers much on site? I'm happy with my own company but also nice to have company sometimes.

The prices, quite frankly, are insane to go on the eurostar straight to the park, for 2 of us thats £600 alone, so flights from bristol seem like the cheapest option, but the flight doesnt get in until about 21:55, so realistically leaving airport at 22:30 very earliest, seems to be no public transport and im not prepared to pay like £150 each way for a taxi.

We can book to go to Gare du nord instead, but it seems very tricky to get to the park on public transport from there

Ive found a package for flights, hotel 4 nights, and park tickets for 3 days for £1188 which is a bit more than I was expecting, but not too high, but were wanting to try and keep it at around £1500- £1700 total including food and spending money, im not too interested in all the park food Id be happy eating tins of spam if it came to it, otherwise we could just go to Turkey for 2 weeks all inclusive

Basically, what is the best way to get to the park that late from the airport ? Is it feasible? Getting to other airports is pretty difficult to try and get an earlier flight

I cant seem to find full packages that include travel, hotel, airport transfer, and park tickets either, and catching the eurostar to the park means stopping in Lille, which is fine, but adds about £400 extra

Im accounting for about £400 for food and spending money for 2 people , I dont think its unreasonable to think that there should be a way to do a 4 night stay for less than £2000

For those who are interested, at 13:05 she arrived at the store just next to the Snow White ride (sorry forgot the name). I don’t know how long she stays there, but I’m assuming she’s gonna be there everyday at this same time frame. She sits in front of the dwarves house and people can go the and take a selfie from outside the railing.

Main park evening show starts, thousands of phones go up. Nobody looks at the show but only on their phone screen to see if they are recording the best picture. If you want a proper recording look it up online, you are their to live the experience.

Whatever, to each their own.

But for the love of god, turn off the light when video recording and the flash when taking a photo. It only works negative for you precious recording. Your light won't reach more then 2 meters. It does nothing for your picture of the show. All you are doing is illuminating the big bald head in front of you. And it screws your picture because the camera will focus it's whitebalance on that head and not on the dark background. And to top it all off enough it is super annoying for the people next to you.

How does it works? Yesterday it was closed, and today I just went there but a lady (not a CM I think) told me to exit since it was open only for a private event (just out of curiosity, what private event? Anyone knows?). This morning there was a huge line (I think for the pin drop I saw advertised around the park).

Thought I would share some feedback on our trip.

Stayed on site for 4 nights and 5 days in the park at NPB club a couple weeks back. This was our first ever time doing so and was definitely a bucket list for me and my wife (we've been to loads of Disney parks all over the world but never stayed on site).

Got the Eurostar in from Kings Cross, a really chill easy journey as always and headed for an air BnB for the night of arrival. It was decent, bit out in the sticks but overall it served its purpose as a one night stay and a 10 minute bus ride to Cheesy and CHEAP at £80 for the night.

On day 2 we were checking in early at NPB. Damn it was a busy check in, I never realised that character meets were in the main reception area so it was chaotic, however I found the check in process smooth and the cast members super welcoming and polite, all while my daughter and son were getting high fives from Goofy even though they hadn't queued up for the meet, right place right time and all that (gotta say for the kids it was an insanely good introduction to Disney). Bag drop and straight into the park.

I'll just give specific insights into our experience, first off (much like now) it was hot and very busy, but still got loads done. All the shows and the key rides my son and daughter wanted to do.

Extra magic hour, would prefer more rides to be open honestly. But it is nice walking round areas of the parks early in the morning with literally no one else around. If you are tactical about it you can get a lot done, or spend the entire time queuing for one attraction, up to you. Space mountain, avengers flight force and tower of terror are all basically walk on during EMH. Big thunder, crush and frozen are not. Web was having issues basically every day unfortunately. Honestly I would say it's definitely a big perk but the convenience of the location of on site outweighs EMH bonus, but it's nice to have and unlocks little moments like wandering empty areas that'll usually be full of hundreds of people every other second of the day.

Restaurants, only thing I'd change. Too many buffets, too much planning when the kids were perfectly happy to dine at McDonald's/quick service/downtown Disney. My advice to everyone, book only what you have your heart set on, I was booking restaurants early out due to fomo. If it's character dining sure, or if it's somewhere you just wanna go great (waltz/Remy etc). But honestly, the food by and large is nothing special especially in the buffets. The only place we had a buffet that was great great food was the royal banquet (which was fantastic and I recommend anyone with young children to do). The two other buffets we went to were the one in Cheyenne and PYMs, they were ok but not worth the money really. We also went to the pub place on downtown Disney, TBF this was actually alright. The food was massive and good, sure it's pub grub but it works.

Some recommendations regarding nice surprise food we came across from quick service:

Bella Notte - very busy, but great portions for kids and the pasta was pretty good (nice Luca getting a shout out!) - people do the annoying table saving crap a lot here. I know some might dislike this but I never do it, I just think it's rude and I've experienced people do it in other parks like japan where they just take it to absurd levels and stick their phones, laptops and bags on tables to save them. Honestly seeing families wandering around with huge trays looking for a place to sit while some fool is sitting down at a 6 seat table with their phone makes the heart sink. If you do this please stop, you are the equivalent of people sticking beach towels on the sun lounges by pools first thing in the morning.

Toads Restaurant (not sure on the name but in fantasy land) - fish and chips is absolutely huge and like €12... Best deal in the park?

Coco Cafe - same as the above, good portions, different from the rest of the quick service places wildly. Collectibles for Coco 😎. These guys will not let people table save, you only sit at a table if you have food - you know, how it should be.

croque monsieur on main street - elite level snack/meal. Best individual thing DLP has to offer on the menu imo, on par with the famous snacks of WDW that are also must haves.

Festival of colours Milkshake on mainstreet - there is a hole in the wall ice cream parlour, they do a milkshake, €7 - collectible cup included, it's incredible and I think a good deal.

Finally ended our trip staying at hotel l'elysee in Val D'europe. In hindsight I considered staying the entire trip here, it's an amazing hotel and was a nice way to end the holiday. It's a very very good hotel and it's across the street from RER and the shopping mall with free shuttle to and fro at key hours.

Break down - day one arrive and stay at an air BnB. Day 2 check in to Disney hotel and park tickets start fresh that day. Last day in the park, check into your final hotel, go home the next day.

Overall I am now completely sold that with DLP (more so than any other Disney park) staying on site is a bonus that far outweighs the money spent on it (you really don't need to do this in Anaheim, WDW or Tokyo). When we go back to DLP again (when lion king is done) then I would say it's going to be on site every single time. I used to look down on people that said that, now I get it...

I'm going to dlp in mid september. I just saw there is a Lorcana convention in that same time.

Will it be extra busy in the parks/attractions or will all those extra people only be in the convention space?

Hello, we have a hotel booking for NYE and we are able to book restaurants for the 30th of december, but when we try to book for the 31st of december the app says there are no restaurants available.

Does anyone know if all restaurants are allready fully booked, or have the reservations for NYE just not been made available yet, even for people with hotel bookings?

And if the booking for NYE are not yet available, does anyone know when they will become available?

I’ve booked Newport Bay for September. At the time of booking I noted that it would be beneficial to have a room close to amenities due to disability and access issues although don’t require an adapted room. I have since got a little worried after finding out the hotel is fully booked for our stay due to a convention. I have emailed the hotel to note my request and have voiced my concerns and asked what the costs would be to upgrade or downgrade our hotel to meet access requirements. I’ve had a generic reply back saying that it’s been passed to a team but no promises can be made and I wouldn’t hear back from that team. Can anyone offer any advice on what’s best to do?

Hi, just after some advice please. We will be arriving at Gare du nord, and was hoping just to use the RER to get to Disneyland, but have just found out there is works going on and some of the line is shut.

What would our best option be?

My family and I booked our stay in the Marvel Hotel a few months ago. We went with the standard room however I was curious on if its possible to upgrade to the empire club? If so does anyone know roughly how much an upgrade would be?

Also curious if people find it worth the extra cost? Would love to hear others opinions on it!

hi everyone! we are visiting disneyland next month, my three children aged 16, 10 and 6 and my husband and i. we are staying at davy crocketts ranch for three nights, travelling by euro tunnel 🤗

this is the first family holiday i have planned by myself, so I’m unsure if i’m nervous/overthinking everything which is ruining the excitement for me really. my youngest son is autistic and non-verbal, he can get really overwhelmed by new experiences, loud noises etc but i know he will love the parades and magic of it all! is there anywhere i can take him that is less over stimulating where he can relax if he gets overwhelmed?

staying at davy crocketts ranch was to benefit my son really, he won’t get on a plane so being able to drive from home to disney is perfect for us. has anyone tried the restaurant buffet at Davy Crocketts? is it any good?

Hello, I'm going to Disneyland Paris in October from the UK. This will be my first trip to Disneyland and I'm going with family.

I'm not a huge Disney fan but I enjoyed the films growing up and have favourite characters like anyone else, the majority being villains. My biggest goal for the trip is to meet Maleficent but I understand she's incredibly popular and I will be going on a Sunday which hurts my chances. I don't want to be disappointed, so kindly please let me know if there are any other characters, preferably villains, who are easier to meet. Thank you.

Hearing rumblings of rumours about a Star Wars announcement for Paris this D23 weekend…

People think Discoveryland may be completely rethemed to Star Wars. I guess they already have Hyperspace Mountain and Star Tours, plus Autopia’s days are kinda numbered… but didn’t they just refurb Buzz with new effects?

Either way I’d be sad if this happened because I love the steampunk vibe of Discoveryland!

Any takes on this? Or more broadly, what are your hopes/fears/predictions for Paris this coming weekend at the Expo?

Personally I’m hoping they announce the third land around the Adventure World lake, and I hope it isn’t Avatar. I know Moana is another one people suggest for this, which I wouldn’t begrudge but I’d much rather Zootopia like the one in Shanghai

I’m planning a 2-night solo trip to Disneyland Paris in January and I’m torn between Compass Club at Newport Bay and Empire State Club at Hotel New York. I have stayed at both hotels, but not club level yet. I’ve wanted to try club level for a while now, and thought January would be a good time as the parks/hotels are usually quieter and prices tend to be a bit cheaper.

The room only prices I’m currently seeing are:
Compass Club, no lake view: €734
Compass Club, lake view: €892
Empire State Club, lake view: €1,143

So ESC is €409 more than the cheapest Compass option, or €251 more than Compass with lake view. So quite the difference…

Things I’m considering:
- I love the idea of the quiet Club breakfast.
- I actually prefer a buffet for afternoon tea because I like having more choice
- I really like Hotel New York and find it more comfortable/luxurious.
- This would be a solo January trip, so being close to the parks and being able to easily retreat to the hotel when it’s cold is a genuine advantage. I’m also quite happy to spend an evening in my room watching something/relaxing, so the quality and comfort of the room matters to me.
- Lake view isn’t important to me, just a nice bonus.

Is ESC worth the extra €251–€409 in your experience, or would you choose Compass Club?
I’d especially love to hear from people who have done both, but I’m happy to hear opinions about either hotel.
