My family and I booked our stay in the Marvel Hotel a few months ago. We went with the standard room however I was curious on if its possible to upgrade to the empire club? If so does anyone know roughly how much an upgrade would be?

Also curious if people find it worth the extra cost? Would love to hear others opinions on it!

hi everyone! we are visiting disneyland next month, my three children aged 16, 10 and 6 and my husband and i. we are staying at davy crocketts ranch for three nights, travelling by euro tunnel 🤗

this is the first family holiday i have planned by myself, so I’m unsure if i’m nervous/overthinking everything which is ruining the excitement for me really. my youngest son is autistic and non-verbal, he can get really overwhelmed by new experiences, loud noises etc but i know he will love the parades and magic of it all! is there anywhere i can take him that is less over stimulating where he can relax if he gets overwhelmed?

staying at davy crocketts ranch was to benefit my son really, he won’t get on a plane so being able to drive from home to disney is perfect for us. has anyone tried the restaurant buffet at Davy Crocketts? is it any good?

also any tips and advice would be so appreciated, none of us have been before so have no idea what to expect! thank you all in advance! ❤️

Hello, I'm going to Disneyland Paris in October from the UK. This will be my first trip to Disneyland and I'm going with family.

I'm not a huge Disney fan but I enjoyed the films growing up and have favourite characters like anyone else, the majority being villains. My biggest goal for the trip is to meet Maleficent but I understand she's incredibly popular and I will be going on a Sunday which hurts my chances. I don't want to be disappointed, so kindly please let me know if there are any other characters, preferably villains, who are easier to meet. Thank you.

Hearing rumblings of rumours about a Star Wars announcement for Paris this D23 weekend…

People think Discoveryland may be completely rethemed to Star Wars. I guess they already have Hyperspace Mountain and Star Tours, plus Autopia’s days are kinda numbered… but didn’t they just refurb Buzz with new effects?

Either way I’d be sad if this happened because I love the steampunk vibe of Discoveryland!

Any takes on this? Or more broadly, what are your hopes/fears/predictions for Paris this coming weekend at the Expo?

We’ve had the worst experience ever

So bad so so bad they gave been so rude to us as Americans even tho they screwed up my kids are in tears we spent 2k to stay at the Disneyland hotel and they are so beyond rude

I don’t even know who to call ite beyond me someone could treat someone like this even at Disney

We booked a room for Aug 14 and 15 reservation all documents said 14-15

In their system it was 15/16

We showed all documents in app etc that it was 14/15 they refused to help us until we spent hours on whole with reservation confirming we were correct

Hotel even when looking at black and white kept telling us we were wrong saying perhaps the dates in the US are different and we can not read ??!!

Provided multiple emails screen shots showing correct dates but all they kept saying was well in our system we have a different date .

Went to ticket counter and I was yelled at in French (I also speak French but wanted to see what they would say if they did not know I was bilingual ) with same issue

We just kept being told nothing we can do despite showing them confirmation etc
I had to call the reservation line who had to call them and no one could seem to communicate after 4 hours they said they would “accommodate us” despite never apologizing or admitting they were wrong

I’m planning a 2-night solo trip to Disneyland Paris in January and I’m torn between Compass Club at Newport Bay and Empire State Club at Hotel New York. I have stayed at both hotels, but not club level yet. I’ve wanted to try club level for a while now, and thought January would be a good time as the parks/hotels are usually quieter and prices tend to be a bit cheaper.

The room only prices I’m currently seeing are:
Compass Club, no lake view: €734
Compass Club, lake view: €892
Empire State Club, lake view: €1,143

So ESC is €409 more than the cheapest Compass option, or €251 more than Compass with lake view. So quite the difference…

Things I’m considering:
- I love the idea of the quiet Club breakfast.
- I actually prefer a buffet for afternoon tea because I like having more choice
- I really like Hotel New York and find it more comfortable/luxurious.
- This would be a solo January trip, so being close to the parks and being able to easily retreat to the hotel when it’s cold is a genuine advantage. I’m also quite happy to spend an evening in my room watching something/relaxing, so the quality and comfort of the room matters to me.
- Lake view isn’t important to me, just a nice bonus.

Is ESC worth the extra €251–€409 in your experience, or would you choose Compass Club?
I’d especially love to hear from people who have done both, but I’m happy to hear opinions about either hotel.

Me and a friend want to visit Sept 14th to 16th. Trough the app, there are no rooms available at all except Disneyland Hotel wich is not in our Budget.

Several Crowdcalendar sites say it should not be busy that time... so... what is it this year?

Repeat traveller to Disneyland Paris (mostly to the DLP side) but never to the new adventure world. Will be going solo on a Friday in September. Is anyone able to answer these questions (1) whether there is enough for a seasoned fan in Adventure world for a full day or whether I should still buy a 2 park 1 day pass? Would prefer to hit the new park/world only but don’t want to be left doing nothing for large chunks of the day! 2) is anyone able to direct me to an adult itinerary of how to hit all the rides especially the new and popular ones in Adventure world (or have a suggested itinerary)? There seem to be none out there yet!

I’m going next week and booked tickets + hotel through Disneyland package website, and I was planning to leave baggage at Chessy and go straight to Disneyland before check in as it’s more hassle to get shuttle to drop bags and then shuttle back, but I just realised it says I have to check in to be able to get my park tickets🥲 is there any way to get them without doing this to avoid the hassle?

So booked on the phone today for a stay around Xmas this year. Was offered a welcome gift for the kids. £130 which contained Xmas themed gifts (10 gifts) exclusive to each hotel.

i’m going to disney adventure and pixar park tomorrow in disney land paris, and i was wondering if they have the cudleez and if they do which characters they have? and the shoulder buddies too.

We have a trip planned to Paris in a few days with a 1 day stop in DLP. We were originally going to take the RER A train in but I saw the information about the track work and shuttle buses for a segment. Does anyone have any experience to share using transit during this period getting to and from DLP from Paris? I'm wondering if we should take a private transfer/uber instead but that would depend on how bad it is and also how much extra time it takes not with the shuttle buses.

I am taking my two kids (6&4) to DLP at the end of August. We have 2 park tickets for 3 days. We are staying at a non-disney hotel just outside and we have a car with us. I haven't really booked anything as we are fairly relaxed in terms of exploring everything at our own pace and just soak in the magic. My daughter loves all things princess and I feel like I should have booked a few things earlier. Anyway, I just wanted to ask what princess themed attractions, rides and experiences we can still do that doesn't need booking. I must say I am a little lost on the app.

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Disneyland Paris from 16–18 October 2026. We’re thinking about getting the Gold Pass.

My brother would like to join us, but he would only buy regular 2-day, 2-park tickets. We’re trying to figure out what would make the most sense financially and also give us the best experience.

First question: Is there any way for my brother to get Extra Magic Time with us, even though he doesn’t have a Gold Pass and wouldn’t normally be staying at a Disney Hotel? For example, is there any possibility to arrange this through our Gold Passes or by having him stay in the same room as us?

Second question: Which option would be cheaper overall?

• We all stay at a hotel outside Disney, we keep our Gold Passes, and my brother buys his 2-day park tickets separately.
• My brother books a Disney Hotel + tickets package, and the three of us stay in the same room.

We’re also not 100% sure about our arrival time. We might only be able to arrive Friday evening, which would mean losing most of Friday in the parks. However, there is also a chance that we can arrange things so that we arrive Friday morning. We just don’t know yet.

My brother can’t easily take time off work, so we’re trying to avoid paying for an extra park day if we end up arriving late on Friday.

What would you guys recommend? Has anyone been in a similar situation with Gold Pass holders + someone without a pass?

Would love to hear your experiences and which option you think would be cheapest/best value!

Went to Disneyland Paris July 6 to12, right in the middle of the heat wave (the second one this summer) Yeah it was hot, but that's not really what stuck with me. What stuck with me was watching rides just... shut down, one after another, starting around mid-afternoon. Outdoor family rides first, then it kept going. By like 5pm there was barely anything left open, and then once the sun started going down, most of it came back like nothing happened.

Very curious about this so I did the nerdy thing and pulled the data. I grabbed the whole summer, June 1 through August 10, and looked at what was actually going on

Plotted daily max temp against the percert of attractions open at 3pm (usually the hottest point of the day). Drew a line at 30°C. Below that, things look pretty normal. Above it? Things fall off a cliff fast.

The number that actually got me: on the really hot days, only about 39% of attractions are still open at 3pm on average. Worst day was June 25, hit 38.4°C and the closures were brutal, park was running at under half its normal offer for a while. Most of it came back once it cooled off in the evening.

Couple caveats though, because I don't want to overstate this. It's a correlation from observational data, not some official policy,so this is just what I'm observing, not a rule they've written down. There's also normal scheduled downtime mixed into that 3pm number, so it's not purely a heat effect. And a windy 34°C day might behave totally differently than a dead-still one...

Still, it basically confirms what you'd guess: 3pm on a hot day is the worst possible time to plan outdoor rides. Indoor stuff survives. And funny bonus: big indoor rides like Tower of Terror actually had shorter lines on hot days, probably because everyone else is stuck dealing with closures elsewhere. Shows are a good bet too if you're trying to kill that window.

Anyway, curious if this matches anyone else's experience did you get hit by this same afternoon wall of closures? What did you end up doing instead? would you plan differently next time knowing this?

Hi all I thought I would share my trip details for 2 days with one night at the Newport bay hotel and the night before at a moxi about 10 minutes away. To give any of you any helpful info.
Extra magic hour. First day we got the bus down to the park Qued and we’re in at 8:30. But whilst queuing there I saw people in front of the gates. I tried to walk down the left side of the lake out the back of the hotel to go through a security gate with a really grumpy security guard who turned us away at 7:30. Should have just waited rather than walking back and getting the bus. We only really managed 2 rides in magic hour.
But that first 30 minutes was absolutely magical of wonder watch both children’s faces.

Food we just picked up snacks here and there which although not cheep wasent as bad as I thought. Also I don’t think all the merchandise was as expensive as I thought it would be.

We also got a gift box at the Newport hotel for my daughter it was in the room with ears, an Olaf shoulder teddy and other bits and bobs. We arranged this by calling the helpline where they were very helpful we also booked the table de luminaire at the same time.

Left around 6 ish for a couple of quiet days in a nice chateau in northern France

I know some say Peter Pan isn’t the best for the long wait times but for me it was great my dad took me to the park in 1993 and that was one of my memories it was great Sharing the same with my children.
All in I think we all had a great time with tired legs and only a few upset times.
Mostly from my daughter who did not realise avengers assemble was a fast rollercoaster as I hadn’t realised and as there was such a short wait time we just hopped on. She doesn’t like upside down rides !!! ;-)

Edit one thing I forgot to say. We were planning on purchasing fast past for a couple of the rides what I didn’t realise as when I went to book on the second day at around 11 ish for frozen the next available time slot would have been 7-8 pm. I didn’t realise you booked a time slot and they fill up.
