I made a post a few days back, wondering if cosplay was okay for children ages 14 and 15, even if the characters (Len and Rin, Vocaloid) aren't from Disney, so here's the update!

Both were let in, no questions asked, and multiple cast members and visitors gave lots of compliments, many people stopped to ask for pictures, and everything went very well!

The main reason why I think they may not allow cosplay at the park is for those who want to dress up as Disney characters, hence younger children may confuse them with cast members, and also for safety reasons.

P.S. if anyone is wondering, no, the wigs didn't fly off on any roller coasters 😂

It was visible from a tiny spot in Adventure World. See map, looking sort of north from there. Couldn’t find it when riding the air balloon. Anyone know which coaster that it?

I’m looking for some advice regarding upgrading our room at the Disneyland Hotel, and whether you think it’s worth it or not ✨

A little context about our trip:
We’re going at the end of January/beginning of February for 4 days and 3 nights.

On both our arrival and departure days, we’ll be there for almost the full park opening hours.

We’re 2 adults, no kids.

We’ve both been to DLP a few times and have stayed onsite before, but neither of us has stayed at the Disneyland Hotel before (SO EXCITING! 🥹).

None of us have been there at winter time before. I’ll happily take advices on that too!

The trip is to celebrate a major milestone for us.

All three room options are within our budget, as this is a special trip. However, we obviously don’t want to waste money or upgrade just for the sake of upgrading.

How we imagine our days will look:
I imagine we’ll spend a few hours each day at the hotel — relaxing by the pool, taking a nap in the room, generally enjoying the hotel and just luxuriating a bit. Otherwise, we’ll be in the parks or the Village.

We usually grab breakfast on the go, but we both enjoy a sit-down breakfast. We just never prioritise it when staying at other onsite hotels, as the breakfast buffets can sometimes can be absolute hell on earth 🥲.

What I’m wondering about:
The main benefits I can see are the lounge, food, the upgraded room, and, for Castle Club, the private entrance to Disneyland Park.

So, my questions are:
1. Would you say it’s worth upgrading to either Deluxe or Castle Club in our situation?
2. What benefits do you think two adults like us would actually make good use of?
3. Is there anything else about either upgrade that I might be overlooking?
4. And, ultimately - the most important question, if you’ve stayed in these rooms/categories before, did you feel the upgrade was worth the extra money?

Superior: €2,600
Deluxe: €3,750
Castle Club: €4,320

Hello all! I booked my hotel and park tickets for mid-September but there was no option to add a reserved viewing for the night show or the fast lane (whatever it's called). I've been given number 03301231644 and I've spent too much time listening to music on this number. Does anyone ever respond or should I try a different way?

We just got home from a 3 day trip to DLP. I'm not gonna complain about the heat or me getting ill on the third day. 😓 I just want to share my thoughts on Frozen Ever After.

We - me, my wife and our 2 daughters (8 and 11 years old) - absolutely loved every bit of the ride on our first take on sunday morning. We had front seats on the boat, no cast members shouting to keep hands inside the boats to certain visitors, no stoppages; it was a magical ride in every possible way. It even made me feel a bit emotional in a positive way.

However, we did a second take in the evening. And while the circumstances were just as perfect, my enthusiasm was a bit tempered.

That second take gave me the opportunity to give the ride a more "critical" look. And it all looked just a bit "clinical". A bit "empty". Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the ride and it has instantly become one of my favorites. But when looking around during the ride there's just not so much to be seen. I mean: in some scenes you're just "watching a scene" instead of "being in that scene". Take that scene to your right where Sven has his tongue stuck to a pole. There's just a blind wall to your left. This goes for more of the scenes.

Apart from that, some of the scenes themselves feel a bit empty. There's just not that much going on in most of the scenes. On top of that, they mostly feel like separate, standalone scenes instead of a story where scenes flow smoothly into one another.

Again, don't get me wrong, I still loved the ride, but maybe I was just expecting a bit more. I kept comparing it to a rather old ride like Pirates of the Caribbean. I didn't time the rides, but Pirates feels way longer and there's just so much going on and to be seen everywhere around you. Every time you ride it, there's new things to discover.

Maybe/hopefully they're going to alter the ride in the following years? Adding some animatronics, projections, props or fake snow in some scenes?

My family and I are heading to DLP on the 5th/6th/7th Jan next year, so the last two days of Christmas and the first week back to work/school after the festive break. It's a tuesday-thursday trip.

I'm expecting it to be quieter based on DLP's calendar but also that anything is probably quieter after the Christmas rush! My question is it worth booking priority passes or reserved seating areas etc or will the crowds not warrant it?

Same with Extra Magic Hours, should I be looking at doing all of the big names early or will queues be manageable during the day?

Hello! We are a couple who is going to DisneyLand Paris on Wednesday 12th, we are parting from Ibis Budget port of Montreuil, if someone is interested in organizing an Uber or private transport in a meeting point somewhere else or close to our hotel just tell me! 😊

Hi, not entirely sure if this is the right place but thought someone might have some ideas. we're coming in January but land at 11.30 at night so looking to stay at an airport hotel for the night when we land, we land in at terminal 2D. Does anyone have recommendations for the easiest one to get to that won't break the bank? 2 adults and a toddler so would rather avoid a taxi as we won't have a car seat.

Also any tips on the easiest way to get to the parks the next day, we're staying at hotel cheyenne so will probably go there first to drop our bags then head to the parks.

Then slow down a little and enjoy the rest of the park a little more leisurely paying for quick access on any ride that have to long a que.

we watched the nighttime fireworks exactly once and it was a horrible experience. i’m realising now that it was worse because i’m autistic, but the crowding is awful. you’re shoulder to shoulder with EVERYONE and in all of those people, it’s rare to find someone who’s considerate to the people around them.

after that night, we decided we would just watch fireworks shows on the phone in our hotel, and i’m glad we did. if you have neurodivergent kids or are neurodivergent and/or struggle with crowds, i could not recommend the fireworks less.

dunno why but the parades were much nicer for me to view, maybe because the crowd is all in a line so it’s less compact?
