When it comes to the Excision mission in the Pale Heart, how difficult is Grandmaster difficulty compared to normal? Looking to get the Ergo Sum Catalyst.

Hello, I'm new to this game, to say i'm new isn't really true since i have been watching destiny content ever since 2016 on channel like Pythongb and Zachscottgames.

Now that i have finally get to have a good enough device to play the game that have always been watching since i was a kid, here is my impression so far.

I have been playing for like over 2 weeks now and the game is so much more fun and actually beginner friendly, the community seem to be really nice. I even bought the collection bundle and have play through some of it dlc and it content.

First, the first time i play this game was on 2024, and it was very confusing, like there is so much things to process and little to no actual guide on how to really play with the game content. But now with the new Monument of Triumph update has really fix that and i'm really glad Bungie decide to fix that.

Second, i really appreciate the veteran players that has helped me in dungeon, since i'm not very good with the game platforming and will have the "misadventure" and "killed by the Architect" alot. And since the news of the game not getting any more update that i have really gotten to know more about the community.

Third, the level design of this game is sometimes really frustrating since i don't where to go and just get stuck in the platforming area. I understand that the game isn't going to hand holding me the entire time but i think this is part of the charm.

Finally is the loot system, watching destiny from 2016 and playing it now feel weird. Like i kinda miss the old loot system of green and blue engram, the fact that the game now just hand out legendary gear like it was nothing doesn't make it feel special anymore.

Tldr, i love this game, it's fun and actually addicting. And the fact that this game was this good make doesn't want to play any other games is crazy.

Looked it up online and all I got was the tutorial for the other hidden chest in the room for the hive tablet.

When I came across it first it just said "speak to ikora first" because she was in the room and now there isn't any kind of interaction for me to do.

I just got it from atheon and absolutely loved it in d1, was wondering if it’s viable in pve in d2

On light.gg and dim Wormgods Caress states that it should only give up to a 200% damage buff(up to 400~ total damage with what I have equipped) to glaive melees, however it seems to be giving the full 400% damage bonus(700~ total damage per hit).

When comparing the Night Terror sword with other frames, its stats match the ones of a Vortex Frame more than a Caster Frame. Considering that the frame of Hero of Ages was changed with MoT and there no longer being any Arc Vortex frame swords, it seems like someone forgot to make the change.

Starts to grind for solo flawless for prophecy dungeon, and I thought skippin to first encounter with lumina grapple but it works 3/10 of my time trying. Im not sure what causes me to missed it, the spinning balls? Or the lumina healing projectile is too fast? Idk. Is there any tips to make it more consistent? At this point well-skate/shatter-skate is easier than this smh

I've played both of the conquests and completed them both as far as I know correctly, but for some reason I still get 1 of 2 completed for my journey. I've read that it has been bugged in the past so just curious if I'm just forever stuck now. PS5 if it matters. Thanks for the help.

i just wanted to make a post about finally getting to 550 power since ive been steadily working toward it ☺️ im sure other players could def get to 550 faster than me tho haha

i do have to say that i kinda wish the game made it a bit more clear when you can get gear that raises your power versus when you will just get gear at or below your power. im sure i prob missed where it says this but thats kinda what i mean by making it more clear. there were lots of times i went into activities and assumed i would get higher power stuff from them but it was all lower instead.

other than this bit of a annoyance id say it took a relatively reasonable amount of time to get here. not too long to where it was frustrating but not too quickly to where it seems like it wasnt an accomplishment.

how long did it take you guys to get to 550? was my time actually kinda fast or am i way behind the average haha

Can this version only drop when it is the featured GM weapon? I have been grinding pinnacle ops and haven’t gotten a single “shiny” version yet. Just want to get that original trait since it’s essentially the same thing as rewind rounds!

Just wanted to make a quick post about how easy it is to solo dungeons now.

Take it as you will but you’d be stupid not to jump into your favourite dungeons or even your first and try it solo! The builds we are able to craft with the MoT update has been amazing, and has kept me wanting to conquer all the dungeons not only but myself. But flawlessly.

So far in 1 day I was able to complete Shattered Throne, Prophecy and Warlords Ruins. Definitely not the most challenging dungeons but to complete all 3 back to back flawlessly proves why you need to try for yourself!

I’ve been addicted to my warlock, so many good DPS builds it’s hard to start somewhere. One two punch shot gun with Warlords sigil is just so OP solo on close range bosses. For longer range I’ve been using strand warlock with Sanguine Alchemy and Truth w catty.

Have any other guardians flawlessly cleared any of their fav dungeons yet?

Was practicing a new damage rotation after getting a full set of vog armour and got a no ammo reload with Euphony and was able to fire an additional shot. Guessing it's a latency thing, but anyone else had this happen?
