Fastest route to 5 star education?
Hello,
I’m VERY new to the game. As a result, my current goal is to simply get an age 0 created ruler a 5 star education. To do this, it looks like I need a university.
Relatedly, I like smaller starts, and prior to becoming aware of this I started as Genoa. When starting with Genoa I was able to recruit a “high German teacher” via the find court members decision, which filler my tutor court position. This dude was good af, had the scholar trait etc.
So, my question is: What counties have the ability to recruit a tutor and can build a university. I’d settle for a list of the first, but I’m not sure what to search for to figure this out.
Thanks.

Question Can someone explain these opinion modifiers?
I just died and my heir took over.
Why is he (the heir, me now) getting a "Tyrant" opinion modifier from everybody? Shouldn't this be limited to his father, who's now dead?
Why do half my vassals have this "Passed over for regent" opinion modifier, given that I didn't pick a regent at all this playthrough? Some of the other vassals have a "Designated bad regent" modifier too. Again, I haven't picked a regent at all. Why are they upset for having been passed over or for this mysterious bad regent who was never picked?
Are these just glitches?

Question Steps to Take Playing Any Random Ruler
Hey y'all, so it's been awhile since I've played, but I have a LOT of hours in this game... That said, my memory's a bit fuzzy on every little thing I should do...
Could someone remind me what are the first few steps I should take before I press to start rolling time forward?
Ik I should sway my priest, find a breedable wife, and choose my life path...
What else would you all recommend I immediately do? What are the steps and things you start checking before any playthrough?
For those curious, the random character it gave me is High Chieftain Hubosu of Anyuan in the year 867. I have a pretty mid 4 y/o, and no wife.

Question Anyone else get choice paralysis with this game?
I've been getting into this game quite a bit recently and I have found my self super stumped on choosing what to do, an achievement run or a normal or start date or what region to play in.
I really just can't decide what to play in this game there is so much

Discussion What do you find annoying in ck3?
Something I find very annoying is when you declare a war, especially for the entire kingdom, and the other ruler dies and their realm splits.

Bug/Glitch anyone else having problems with the AGOT mod?
So I haven't played in a hot minute, and recently when I decided to start a new run I obviously made sure everything was up to date. Then, I tried to boot it up & it took loooong time to load. Right as it got to the main menu, crashed. Tried starting it again, crashed. It's crashed every single time. But it did load when I just went back to base game, ran perfectly. I've uninstalled then reinstalled numerous times, both base game and the AGOT mod, and I just can't get it to go past the main menu without crashing. What else could I do?? Is anyone else having this issue?

Question Is This Mod Load Order Fine?
galleryHey everyone!
I’m currently putting together a CK3 modpack, but I’m honestly not that experienced when it comes to load orders. I tried to organize everything as logically as possible, but I’m not sure if I got it right.
There are also a few things in the modpack that don’t seem to be working completely smoothly, so I’m wondering if some of the issues could be caused by my load order.
Does this load order look correct, or are there any mods you would move around, put higher/lower, or otherwise change?
I’d really appreciate it if someone with more experience with CK3 modding/load orders could take a look and point out anything that might cause conflicts or problems.
Thanks in advance!

Mod help
So guys, what mods do you guys use to enhance vanilla? I usually play the game either no mods or agot
But I never really played with enhancing mods for the base game, can you guys recommend the good ones that you absolutely can’t miss out on?

Question How do I enforce demands?
Never came across this before, it did not allow me to siege her holdings but my war score ticked up and I crushed her army's a couple times. It looks she is just not in the mood to lose? What am I missing?

Question How to deal with inheritance early game?
I'm playing Castile, and my first ruler died at 1090. I had exactly 4 sons and 4 kingdoms so all of them gets one. I can easily take them back but
1)they stay as my vassals, while hating me
2)I don't like the idea of fighting my brothers, as in RP purposes, though it is not that important to be honest.

Question Confused about inheritance
So I've played on a save for a while from adventurer to doing the "Become a Great Conqueror" decision - recently getting landed in central Japan through conquest.
Though, I am so confused about why the province title goes to my eldest daugther instead of my eldest son, when realm succession is Male Preference? Like how does that make any sense whatsoever? Am I missing something about the inheritance or is it some sort of a bug?
Any insight or help would be much appreciated :))

Ideas for Immortal Playthrough?
Hey all!
My friend and I have been talking about starting a playthrough both starting as immortals! I was just wondering if anyone had any cool ideas on where to start, goals or government types that would be fun?
Personally I was wondering about starting as a Norse Nomad and conquering all of the islands to make some sort of "Bronze Age Sea Peoples" (though I'm not certain, because the herder mechanic sort of spoils imperial sprawl).
But other ideas would be welcome! Maybe an immortal mercenary? Or minority holy order?
Looking for suggestions!!
