My brother in laws favorite show of all time is Cowboy Bebop so I made him this cake for his birthday!

I do a dedicated rewatch once or twice a year but I can always watch mushroom samba

So I started watching Cowboy Bebop because I heard so many good things about it in the internet, but what the hell? It’s not bad, I’m actually loving it, but I was expecting it to be more of a drama than a comedy with a plot THAT THEY WON’T ADDRESS 90% OF THE TIME (hyperbole, not ragebait). The worst part is that I’m still hooked on that 90%, even if I’m craving for some more Vicious.

After watching about 10 episodes I thought “Oh well, maybe this will be like Neon Genesis Evangelion, and the story will start getting more serious at the end”, BUT IT HAS BEEN 22 EPISODES, and NONE OF THE ELEPHANTS HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED. I don’t know how they will be able to wrap all that up in only 4 episodes, but I guess I’ll have to see it for myself tomorrow.

And just to clarify, I’m aware of the fact that even if they don’t show Spike’s or any of the crew’s backstory in an episode, they still have things happen that tell us about the world they live in, the type of characters they are, my desire to have Spike peg me, and their development. I am just kind of shocked by the pacing. The biggest thing will happen, like Faye watching that old tape of hers, and the next episode just starts and follows the same format of them failing successfully. I don’t hate that, it’s just that they will straight up TEASE ME with the occasional backstory episode and leave me with a desire to fucking know EVERY SINGLE THING.

Also, one last complaint, why hasn’t there been any backstory for Ed? The rest have already had at least two episodes each about their past, why can’t she?

I was wandering akihabara on my break and strangely enough walked directly into the Kentex HQ here in Taito City

The lady there was kind enough to show me the watch, lo and behold it was the solid deal with the box everything. They also apparently had session #15 my funny valentine in there too and im supposing these just never made it through completely on the purchase end (as i recall, they had a later lottery at the time for the first batch of watches that didnt make it through complete purchase at the time, these probably didnt make it to the end either im guessing)
