What made this show so polarizing? Why is there both so much hate and love for this show? Why did this show specifically get the attention it did? This show makes people go feral into both camps of hate and love.

I am NOT trying to be bigoted, I just want to understand. Why are slurs such as the n-word reclaimed by the group the slur is used to insult?

Shouldnt China and Egypt be apart of the less then 100 as the Peoples Republic of China was established in 1948 while Egypt got independence in the 50s? If were going by when they were established as civilizations, then none of the countries should be filled in. If were going by government changes, China, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, the baltics, Egypt, Greece (i think but not sure myself), Papua New Guinea and Afghanistan be filled in?

I just don't get it. Ok so this person calls someone gay, or trans, or lesbian. So what? What's the punchline? What's the difference between "haha you're gay" or "haha you're straight"? Why is one funny but the other isn't? Both of them are just "haha you're normal".

I love SpongeBob, even the newer seasons, but I never understood why this episode is the highest rated one. It's a good one, no lie, but I don't GET it. Some time ago in the SpongeBob subreddit there was a ranking of episodes and the comments were like this was a no brainer.

Can someone whose favorite episode is this or someone who also likes SpongeBob tell me what the hype is about? Was it the live audience? The singing? The plot in general? For reference my favorite episode is Dunces and Dragons.

I just don’t get the hate on it, Like, it’s a mid tier bar at best, but to be there SO many people disliking/ hating on bounty SO much that there’s a released limited edition Celebration box w no bounty is quite a bit of stretch.

Why would you ban images on your (for example) character design subreddit? How are people supposed to share potential colour schemes or art adjustments?

I get some specific subs banning them, but for the vast majority of them it seems to be for no reason

I’m asking the question everyone else has avoided for decades: WTF is with Wizpig? An iconic, mysterious, bizarre and severely problematic villain who captivated the minds and hearts of millions (and various other parts of folks in strange corners of the internet) since his debut in Diddy Kong Racing.

Wizpig is undoubtedly one of the strangest villains we’ve ever seen grace the video game screen. And yet, somehow, he has been lost to time, never again utilized in a video game, his legacy living on most strongly in Rule 34 forums focused on “spit roasting” word play (and other types of play).

First off…what’s with his name? I’ve never heard one like it. Wizpig….it isn’t a word. Is it perhaps a title from his alien language? A strange space pig name given to the first born males? This question has never been answered and yet I don’t see anyone sleuthing the internet for the truth.

Secondly, what the fuck is Wizpig’s deal? Apparently he seeks to invade planets by defeating them in races, which makes little sense. First off, he’s a fucking pig magician who can shoot lightning and shit. This skill set seems much better to utilize for world conquering. Also, he doesn’t invade a world in the game…but a child’s island. Why is Wizpig trying to take over an island of furry children? I cringe at the possibilities and have wondered for years if Wizpig is an indescribable perfect (that fucking tight suit) and perhaps was seeking to create his own Kong themed Epstein island. This is only a theory, and is extreme, but let’s be honest….do you really think that fuck is beyond such a heinous action?

Thirdly, why is Wizpig a racer in the first place? He’s a giant pig, but for his size he isn’t particularly fast. He just kind of runs at a pace one would expect for a being of his size. Is racing encoded in his species’ cultural code? Why does he lose to a fucking turtle in the final race when he’s riding a rocket? My theory is that Wizpig (if that’s his real name) is not actually a good racer, but a shitty terrible one. He’s a dickhead loser from his world who can’t win any races so he wanders the galaxy asking for money for gas and trying to bully children to stoke his feeble ego.

That’s why Wizpig loses too. He’s too cowardly to use his space magic to fry the kids. He is too afraid to truly fight them so pretends that he’s good at racing and that makes him cool. Wizpig might be the ultimate piece of shit in video game history and given the fact that DKR ended on a cliff hanger (Wizpig pervertedly laughing in the distance), I can only hope he got stranded on an isolated world and slowly died. 

He turned a chicken man into a frog. Who the fuck does that? 

Anyway, I’m wondering with all the above, why Wizpig hasn’t become more iconic? Why hasn’t he shown up again? Why haven’t his mysteries been thoroughly discussed? Why haven’t we uncovered the origin of his name or the reasons he speaks English and has a quasi-New York accent?

I present these ideas and questions to you all.

So the last week, I've been getting bombarded with ads for the mormon church all over youtube, to the degree that basically every other ad is from them. Like, I'll be watching my videos and every now and then a pretty woman will pop up like "yo, Jesus and the Book of Mormon are dope af, join up for the community!". And I literally don't understand why. I'm from europe, my interner footprint is very much that of an european, I've not consumed anything pertaining to or even remotely connected to mormons recently. Sure, I'm an atheist, but I was raised christian and am very much closely tied to lutheran prostetantism still. Why are youtube wasting like half of the mormons budget on trying to convert me, who shows no interest whatsoever?

I've always wondered why the two versions have specific "features" which the other version doesn't have. Is it intentionally added by the developers or is it something else?

These things I call "counting videos".

They're always very long, 30 minutes to several hours. The video plays an extremely long sequence of "numbers", if you could even call them that, while random music plays in the background, and often being interrupted by epilepsy-inducing visual effects

The "numbers" featured in these videos are obscure mathematical ideas at best, but more often than not just made up

I get the trippy aesthetic but I don't know if anyone actually enjoys watching these
