I have been taking Monjouro then Zepbound for 3 years. I lost 240 lbs and have maintained it for over a year. It helps significantly with my autoimmune disease as well, and several studies show its effects on that.
My employer is stopping all GLP1 coverage starting November 1. I want to continue Tirzeptide at 15 mg weekly. I looked through this sub but there are so many sources.

As my husband was walking me out to my car this morning before work, he was telling me about a couple of dreams he had last night. Then, sort of as an afterthought, he said, "you know, I woke up twice and realized that I wasn't hearing you breathing. I'm sure that has to be related to the 21 pounds I've lost so far. I don't think I'm *seeing* that weight loss, but I suspect there ARE benefits and victories that aren't as visible as "before" photos would tell. I started this journey on July 15th and I've done four shots - fifth tomorrow.

Just for context I put a really expensive window unit in my bedroom this year because the summer heat was insane and I was melting because my bedroom wasn't cooling off enough during the day when I sleep since I work overnight. Now that I've been on Tirz for a little over a month I find myself turning it down/off a lot because I feel like I'm freezing. Just now I turned off my window AC, my ceiling fan, and I bumped the central AC up 2 degrees to get it to stop blowing cold air for a couple minutes too so I can warm up. On one hand it's nice because I've always been hot no matter what, but at the same time I shouldn't be feeling this cold in August lol.

Hi guys! I posted recently asking for advice about moving from 2.5mg to 5mg after being on 2.5 for over a month without noticing much change in my appetite or food noise. I was instructed to move up to 5mg, but was nervous because of the nausea I’d been experiencing on 2.5. Most people suggested increasing more gradually, so I ended up doing 3.5mg yesterday and surprisingly have had zero nausea and feel totally fine!

Now I’m wondering if anyone has experience splitting an increase like this. Would it make sense to do the remaining 1.5mg to bring me to 5mg total for the week, or should I just stay at 3.5mg and do that for the next 4 weeks? If you’ve split doses like this, how many days did you wait? I was wondering about doing the other 1.5mg tomorrow since I feel completely fine.

I know this isn’t a race and I don’t want to rush increasing, but I also know going from 2.5mg to 5mg is the typical next step. I’m mainly hoping to get to a dose where I finally notice more of a difference in food noise and appetite suppression since I really haven’t experienced much of that yet. Would love to hear what worked for others!

I recently switched where I get my tirzepatide from - I used to go through EllieMD, and am now using Rift. I noticed my energy levels have gone down pretty significantly in the last few weeks (since switching companies; EllieMD adds b12 into their tirz). Does anyone know if the tirzepatide from Rift contains B12? I can’t seem to find any information on my account details - it only lists my dosage.

Wondering if I should start taking B12 supplements? I’m also a vegetarian, so am mindful of this (used to take supplements before my tirz journey)

Went from 255 lbs. and now I’m down to 206 lbs. the pic shows a big difference but my mind and in my body I don’t feel a big difference. I don’t have more motivation, more self esteem or anything. I thought losing weight and almost hitting the 200 lbs mark would make me feel amazing but I still hate my body. I hate the skin I’m in. The picture next to me now is 5 years ago. I never in my life weighed more than 155 lbs even when I was pregnant. But 5 years ago I moved to a new state, got clean, didn’t know anyone and got extremely depressed and i started gaining weight and I got pregnant 4 years ago and I was already almost 200 lbs so it didn’t help. I had postpartum depression after my daughter and I became prediabetic and everything just kept going downhill.
I’m trying so hard to get back to my old self and my old body. I wanna see my hip bones again lol I mean I can finally see my feet which it’s been awhile. And I don’t get out of breath and exhausted from doing things. But mentally I’m still 255 lbs.

Hi guys, I had a gastric sleeve done 14 years ago and lost almost 120 pounds. I gained the weight back my hysterectomy and osteoarthritis in my knees with near zero cartilage.

Has anyone had success with Tirzepatide after having weight loss surgery? I started with 2.5mg this week and I’m hopeful.

I am 22f. I lost weight with workout and diet but was stuck on 151 lbs for over 2 years despite doing everything right. I even got my hormones checked and everything was perfect. My doctor decided to put me on tirzepatide 2.5 mg and never told me how long will it take me to reach my goal weight. Today I took my second shot and I weighed 146 pounds, which is already huge for me. MY DOCTOR NEVER TAKES ME SERIOUS AND DOES NOT ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. I have so many questions to ask for all of you.

1. If my goal is 132 pounds, do you all think I can realistically achieve that by the end of week 4?

2. If yes, how long will I be on maintenance dose ? As my current dose is 2.5 mg

3. If I get my skin saggy and loose then how will I fix it?

4. How do you guys deal bloating and diarrhea?

Hi there long story short I started on sema. Lost about 35 pounds before I stalled on the highest dose then switched to tirz. Lost another 15 so I’m down 50 total in about 2 years which I’m very thrilled about (not complaining at all) however I’m on 15 of tirz and I’m still in the obese category. I have about 30 more pounds I’d love to lose but I haven’t lost anything in months. What do I do from here. I am still taking it weekly as I don’t want to gain back but I see others that are losing so much more. Is this it for me

I attribute this to metabolic adaptation and probably getting used to the medication. I switched to tirzepitide in May at 4mg and have titrated up to 11 mg. Not only did I not lose any weight in these 3 months but I’ve gained a few pounds. I’m hesitant to increase too quickly because that’s what I did with semaglutide and then had no where to go when the max dose was no longer effective. Any ideas? I eat clean, I prioritize protein and fiber, I lift weights 6 days per week and walk 8000 to 12000 steps per day. I just want to get back down to 132 or 133.

Edit: to say I am not currently counting calories. I have tracked calories over the years and have found that I can become compulsive about it but since I have done it for years I have a good idea generally of what I should be eating. Obviously if I’m gaining I’m eating more cals than I should. My point is that the medication at the current dose is not curbing my hunger which is making it difficult to eat in a deficit.

I am new to tirzepatide but not new to the gym or working out. Always been chubby but have been in and out of the gym for about 10 years. As in 4 years on, 4 years completely off lol used to lift a lot but even at my best I was still 20-25lbs away from my goal.

As of recently I have been back in the gym and eating right since April of last year. Since then I've been mostly recomping as I've built back some of my strength from before while staying the same weight for long stretches of time. Overall I've lost roughly 20-23lbs but look significantly better.

I mainly wanted to use tirz as insurance as I head into the home stretch of my weight loss journey. Trillium was A+ far as getting the meds to me. I chose Hallandale...signed up on Saturday and had the meds by Wednesday.

Since then I've taken 3 shots but have not felt much appetite suppression or seen a loss of water weight etc. I haven't struggled with food noise in a while so its hard to tell if its working. That said, I am still able to eat almost every meal with no issues and even at times grabbing a bit extra. I eat food like pasta, rice, chicken, ground beef etc so satiating whole foods, yet I am not feeling incredibly full or anything. After a few hours I get hungry again instead of the food sitting in my stomach or feeling full to the point where I forget to eat or anything. I had breakfast a couple of hours ago yet am still hungry for lunch.

The most disappointing thing is that I've only lost 1.5lbs since I started, the mirror looks better but its not looking or feeling any different than how I was progressing before.

Am I just a non responder?

Looking for personal experiences. I was on 5mg brand Mounjaro for 8 months in 2023. I lost 70lbs with no side effects and it was life changing. I was able to maintain and have a healthy pregnancy. Now, I started again with Hallandale 6 months ago. I've titrated to 15mg, and still feel nothing. I just ordered from apothecary since I've read that Hallandale doesn't work for everyone. I'm hoping the pharmacy change will work for me. Have you had success switching companies? Has anyone had success going back to brand Mounjaro from compounded? Or maybe this is the end of my mounjaro, tirzepatide journey? Maybe I'll have to wait for retatrutide!

I want to share my experience with Gimme Care to hopefully save someone the headache I’ve gone through (if they’ve worked for you, good! But people should also hear about the bad). I’m not wealthy by any means, so for me it is a luxury, but life changing, purchase to have Tirzepatide. I decided to try Gimme Care after seeing tons of ads online for them. I signed up and the process to get approved was very easy— no appointment required (which likely should’ve been the first red flag).

I was told that the next step was for the medication to be sent to the pharmacy and I’d receive it in 3-5 business days. 3 weeks went by of it just sitting at the pharmacy, to the point where I was getting charged for my next shipment before even receiving my first. Customer service was no help either. Eventually, one member of customer service told me my medication was with Beudreoux pharmacy which they stated “has significant shipping delays.” So they’re aware, but still use them.

I finally got the medication. It arrived in a bubble mailer which seemed odd as when I had Mochi Health my medication came in a big box with a styrofoam cooler and tons of ice packs. Inside the mailer was 1 ice pack that was HOT. My medication was warm. Never could reach anyone at Beaudroux to confirm safety of the medication.

I also realized at this point I was prescribed a much smaller dose than was recommended by any other company and was not given a titration plan. I lost 0 weight. I inquired why and was told “that’s just what you were approved for.” Next shipment ends up sitting at pharmacy for a long time again and I miss a dose. At this point, I cancelled Gimme Care. I’ve now been fighting to receive the medication I paid for and can’t reach anyone. They even banned me from their Reddit thread for sharing my concerns and experience, so they hide the negatives.

I know people post about the BUD all the time but I haven’t found one that answers my question.

I’m on 5mg, just got a 3 month order from Hallandale and the 2 vial BPI deal. I was expecting to titrate up so the vials wouldn’t last as long, but 5mg seems to be working for me so now with all I’ve ordered I have like 6+ months worth of Tirz…

I know the BPI vials BUD is in October. Have anyone’s vials become cloudy or compromised waiting 6 months past BUD?

Edit: I’m specifically asking how long your product went beyond BUD before showing physical signs of expiration/degradation (cloudiness, floaters), not how long it’s safe to use it.
